Newly confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel is on fire. After his swearing-in, he gave a not-so-subtle speech, showing that he’s ready to handle the media’s smears. “I know the media's in here, and if you have a target, that target’s right here,” he said, pointing to himself. “It's not the men and women at the FBI.” “You've written everything you possibly can about me that's fake, malicious, slanderous, and defamatory," he continued. "Keep it coming — bring it on. But leave the men and women, the FBI out of it. They deserve better.” He also promised that a new day at the FBI has started. “I promise you

FBI agents fighting crime? How weird is that!? Why, it seemed that FBI agents only fought conservative politicians. What a welcome change.

Godspeed Kash. You have to deal with the 7th Floor of FBI HQ. That's where the likes of Comey and Wray held office. Imagine an FBI that actually fights crime instead of supporting the Deep State. Good Luck Kash.

“ Another 500 will be reassigned to Huntsville, Ala., which is widely seen as D.C.’s version of exile.” I think they will be pleasantly surprised when they get here. It’s widely known that generals’ wives cry and scream when they are assigned to Huntsville. ….and then retire here.

When I was in the military, we used to send screw-ups to places like Nort/South Dakota, Greenland,Turkey, Alaska, but I don't wish this on the fine folks who live there, and may depend on disgruntled FBI agents to protect them.

Probably SOME of them deserve better, but a lot of them should be fired, arrested and tried for various civil rights crimes. The challenge is figuring out who’s who.

Moving them into middle America is step one. Next they can give states some law enforcement money, and they might choose to hire them when their jobs are eliminated.

Kash had to make that statement in order to promote morale and let the majority of his people know that they are appreciated and valued but you know he will have his eye on the mid-level people who knowingly worked against American patriots and will be pulling weeds for a while. Strzok, Page, Comey and Wray are not the only rotten apples.

Regarding Kash's past statements: he's allowed to have his opinions about the FBI and what he'd do, but now that he's director, he works for the President and under Pam Bondi. He has to follow orders and do what has been mandated for him to do. I don't see why leftist media doesn't understand that; correct me, yes, I do understand; they're stupid, evil, and have an agenda. I think Huntsville is a nice place, too. Those 500 agents and their families need to assimilate and not turn the place into the mess that they've contributed to in the DC area.

500 agents to ..... Huntsville? Whassup with that? Is there a crime wave in northern Alabama? And why would it looked on as an “exile”? One of my hunting buddies was a Boeing engineer in Huntsville. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had no complaints about it. Of course, the rest of Huntsville will have to remind the transferees that they’re refugees, not missionaries....

A member of our extended family got a job offer at a high tech firm in Huntsville. They expected everyone to be living in a trailer park and drinking moonshine. Were surprised it was a prosperous area with a scenic mountain landscapes nearby. Ridiculous stereotypes of the south run deep in the DC beltway.

The Supreme Court on Friday dashed President Donald Trump’s plan to immediately fire the head of an independent agency that investigates whistleblower claims, allowing Hampton Dellinger to remain in the job through at least the middle of next week. By declining to back Trump’s emergency appeal, the conservative court nominally sided with Dellinger, who President Joe Biden appointed in 2024 to lead the Office of Special Counsel for a five-year term but who White House officials fired in a brief email days after Trump returned to power. The Dellinger appeal was the first to reach the Supreme Court tied to Trump’s whirlwind of activity since returning
