Associated Press sues three top Trump

The Associated Press sued three Trump administration officials Friday over access to presidential events, citing freedom of speech in asking a federal judge to stop the 10-day blocking of its journalists. The lawsuit was filed Friday afternoon in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. The AP says its case is about an unconstitutional effort by the White House to control speech — in this case refusing to change its style from the Gulf of Mexico to the "Gulf of America," as President Trump did last month with an executive order.

The AP has zero legal right to cover the President, be at the White House or fly on AF One. Also, free speech does not mean there are no consequences. The media thinks it is above the law and cannot be told anything.

Free speech, freedom of the oress and access are entirely different things. I don't recall seeing access being an enumerated right in the constitution.

Aw gee...AP will have to wait and hear what other "Reporters" have to say....repeat that ...and have to give THEM credit. Instead of the current standard where nearly all news outlets have to give AP credit.

This may be less than an adequate analogy, but if people accept employment and salary from an employer that has rules for employees to follow such as dress codes or safety equipment requirements and an employee violates the rule(s) so is disciplined for disobedience, how does that differ from “rules” or “behavior” within the access to or confines of the White House? The mainstream media are, essentially, guests of the White House and should appreciate that status rather than insult the host with monumental ingratitude and being a boor.

After 36 hours of an agonizing wait, the body of Shiri Bibas was returned by Hamas to the Israeli government. A forensic examination concluded that Hamas' claim that Shiri died in an Israeli bombing attack was a lie. “We identified Shiri Bibas two days after we identified her children. Our examination found no evidence of injuries caused by bombing,” says Dr. Chen Kugel, director of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv. Hamas delivered four bodies in locked caskets on Friday, including the bodies of 4-year-old Ariel and 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, as well as 84-year-old Oded Lifshitz. The fourth body
