The FBI raids the wrong house, updated

I’ve been rather hard on the FBI in recent years, but only in response to such grossly unprofessional, and arguably illegal conduct I’ve had no choice. As I’ve so often written, I’d like to believe the majority of field agents are decent, honorable people who take seriously their oaths to uphold the law and Constitution and to serve the American people. Unfortunately with DEI rampant in that agency, and unmistakable proof of political vendettas, I can’t. Even if I did, when two agents—they usually travel in pairs—show up at my door, how can I know they’re two of the honest types?

Comments:

Complete and total incompetence by the FBI on this. They could have easily killed innocent people, and they did cause a lot of damage and refused to acknowledge error or pay for their damage. I hope that the SCOTUS flames the FBI, hard.

At least they didn't kill the manager of the Little Rock airport over sailing an antique gun. Legally saying it. That was the LR ;police with the BATF clown act. So the FBI didn't get to celebrate that execution.

Possibly worse than a burglary invasion because of the weaponary and number of agents. Disgraceful, but not suprising.

Antioch: a school shooting fades fast 4 replies

Among the many things most Americans don’t know is how rare armed attacks on schools really are. Considering the sheer number of public and private K-12 schools—115,171 circa January, 2025--how could it be otherwise? But we keep hearing about attacks, like every week! And the “assault weapons,”and the white supremacists doing the killing, [snip] For example, in 2018, NPR did a story about a Department of Education study claiming during the 2015-2016 school year 240 schools reported at least one school-related shooting. NPR reporters [snip] found, no doubt to their surprise, they could confirm only 11.

Did we expect anything less than a thriller in this AFC Championship between these bitter rivals? The Kansas City Chiefs held off the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship Game, 32-29, in an absolute thriller at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night. The Chiefs will now have a shot at NFL history, as they can become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls if they can defeat the Philadelphia Eagles again.

This is the week of the inauguration of Donald Trump, but it also coincides, not just with Martin Luther King’s birthday—on the same day as the inauguration, but also the meeting of the world’s elite at Davos, Switzerland, lorded over by 86-year-old Klaus Schwab, who, created this organization. If you don’t know what Davos is, don’t worry about it. It’s not that important, in some ways. I mean, it’s not doing a lot of good for the rest of us. But it is important because it has aspirations that are quite dangerous. Basically, its premise is that if we got together all of the “smart people"

The commander of the U.S. Coast Guard was fired, citing border, recruiting concerns and “eroded trust,” a senior Department of Homeland Security official confirmed to Fox News. Adm. Linda Lee Fagan was fired by Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Benjamin Huffman, officials said. Mr. Fagan has demonstrated poor leadership, operational failures, and an inability to advance the Coast Guard's strategic objectives. These include failures to address border security threats, poor leadership in recruitment and retention, mismanagement of key acquisitions such as icebreakers and helicopters, and commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. These include excessive focus and a “loss of trust” in mismanagement and compensation.
The Environmentalist War on California 6 replies

Misguided environmentalist policies were major contributors to the California fires. The first policy led to a self-inflicted shortage of water, the second policy led to the buildup of tinder in California’s forest, the third to the large number of EVs that exploded. Additional environmental policies were indirectly responsible for the self-inflicted shortage of firemen, fire equipment, and powerlines that desperately needed to be fireproofed. The first major factor that contributed to the massive fires was lack of water. Southern California has more than enough rainfall to put out fires. However, the majority of rainfall occurs during the rainy season.

The Ford Motor Co is recalling 20,484 hybrid crossover SUVs over battery concerns that could potentially lead to a fire, documents lodged with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) set out. The recall covers 16,480 Escape and 4004 Lincoln Corsair plug-in-hybrid SUVs from model years 2020 to 2024. In documents filed with the NHTSA, the automaker said the problem occurred in manufacturing, and resulting “microdefects and local stresses” could cause the high-voltage battery cell’s separator layer to become damaged, leading to a short circuit and potentially, a fire. The NHTSA filing explained in detail:

As a young freelance journalist and photographer in Washington, D.C. in the mid-1970s, I covered Georgia Democrat Gov. Jimmy Carter’s successful campaign for the presidency in 1976. I was on the press bus when he campaigned in the primaries in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. I had press credentials to attend the Democrat National Convention in New York City in July [snip] What I have never forgotten in the almost half-century since then is how the reality I observed of Carter, as he dispatched his more well-known opponents on his ascent to the presidency, differed substantially from the carefully crafted image that helped to get him elected.

For some years now we’ve been told words are violence. It’s a jarring assertion for Americans brought up on the axiom that sticks and stone may break their bones, but words can never hurt them. So, sticks, stones and words can break our bones? Our parents and relatives were lying to us? The center cannot hold. The trans “movement” goes a bit beyond that assertion with the certainty that the unexpressed thoughts of Normal Americans are a “trans genocide,” but that was a topic for another article. The Democrat/socialist/communist (D/s/c) left has always been the nearly exclusive manipulator of language. When one of their perfect, non-falsifiable policies fails

An Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash on Christmas Day has prompted speculation the plane was shot down by Russia after it took a detour of hundreds of miles in the wrong direction and crash-landed with holes in the fuselage. Russian military bloggers have suggested the plane, which crashed near the Kazakhstan city of Aktau, could have been mistaken for a Ukrainian drone. The incident, which killed at least 38 people and injured a further 29, took place after a significant detour, which could have been caused by GPS jamming.

Newscaster Lesley Stahl claims she “doesn’t know what to do” about the embarrassing demise of the legacy media. She was lamenting to her colleague, Peggy Noonan, that “we are at the point where even the president,” then corrected herself saying, “Elon Musk,” asserted that legacy media is dead. She appeared extremely worried, spilling her deepest concerns, in front of an empathetic audience gathered at the 92nd St. YMCA studio in New York. It was as if Stahl was having an out-of-body experience, where she failed to factor in herself, in accounting for the reason why audiences were abandoning network news in droves.

Do people on the radical left demonstrate a mental disorder? Most people on the right roll their eyes at the hysteria and fears of the left, but what’s to be done? Given that there were major shifts on the left in the 2024 election, is it possible that somehow sanity is breaking through? With the ongoing polarization that has burdened this country, it’s worthwhile to examine the psychological framework of leftists; both how they see themselves and how they see others. The results may also indicate whether the changes in voting behavior might continue, or whether they were situational. A phrase that’s been coined is “Left-Wing Authoritarianism” (LWA)

In 2020, it was 51 lying intelligence officials who were quarterbacked by Anthony Blinken to pull off the greatest election fraud in American history. It was Tony Blinken who was in charge of collecting signatures from corrupt and partisan Trump-hating intelligence officials to sign off on the letter that the laptop was a Russian op.

This decision by the US Army to withhold the name of the third member of the Black Hawk helicopter crew involved in the Reagan air disaster was never going to last. It’s the worst aviation accident in years. All 67 individuals involved perished—and the Army's initial refusal to release the name led to conspiracy theories and incidents of misidentification. There’s a balance between privacy and transparency—I get it. The family needed time to mourn, but the Army refusing to release the female pilot’s name was never a sustainable position. They finally caved and released her name tonight: Capt. Rebecca Lobach (via NY Post):

The crew aboard the UH-60 Black Hawk chopper, the 12th Aviation Battalion, is responsible for top-secret evacuation missions meant to whisk top US officials from DC to secure locations in the case of a national emergency such as a terrorist or nuclear attack. In a press conference on Thursday night, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the soldiers “were on a routine, annual re-training of night flights on a standard corridor for a continuity of government mission.”

The president addressed the media after the tragic air disaster at Reagan National Airport on January 29, which led to the deaths of 67 people. It’s the worst aviation incident in years. Trump called out the former transportation secretary and then went on a prolonged critique of DEI initiatives under Biden, which included hiring brain-damaged people and those with mental and intellectual disabilities.
