I’ve been rather hard on the FBI in recent years, but only in response to such grossly unprofessional, and arguably illegal conduct I’ve had no choice. As I’ve so often written, I’d like to believe the majority of field agents are decent, honorable people who take seriously their oaths to uphold the law and Constitution and to serve the American people. Unfortunately with DEI rampant in that agency, and unmistakable proof of political vendettas, I can’t. Even if I did, when two agents—they usually travel in pairs—show up at my door, how can I know they’re two of the honest types?

Among the many things most Americans don’t know is how rare armed attacks on schools really are. Considering the sheer number of public and private K-12 schools—115,171 circa January, 2025--how could it be otherwise?
But we keep hearing about attacks, like every week! And the “assault weapons,”and the white supremacists doing the killing, [snip]
For example, in 2018, NPR did a story about a Department of Education study claiming during the 2015-2016 school year 240 schools reported at least one school-related shooting. NPR reporters [snip] found, no doubt to their surprise, they could confirm only 11.
Did we expect anything less than a thriller in this AFC Championship between these bitter rivals?

The commander of the U.S. Coast Guard was fired, citing border, recruiting concerns and “eroded trust,” a senior Department of Homeland Security official confirmed to Fox News.
Adm. Linda Lee Fagan was fired by Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Benjamin Huffman, officials said.
Mr. Fagan has demonstrated poor leadership, operational failures, and an inability to advance the Coast Guard's strategic objectives. These include failures to address border security threats, poor leadership in recruitment and retention, mismanagement of key acquisitions such as icebreakers and helicopters, and commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. These include excessive focus and a “loss of trust” in mismanagement and compensation.

Misguided environmentalist policies were major contributors to the California fires. The first policy led to a self-inflicted shortage of water, the second policy led to the buildup of tinder in California’s forest, the third to the large number of EVs that exploded. Additional environmental policies were indirectly responsible for the self-inflicted shortage of firemen, fire equipment, and powerlines that desperately needed to be fireproofed.
The first major factor that contributed to the massive fires was lack of water. Southern California has more than enough rainfall to put out fires. However, the majority of rainfall occurs during the rainy season.
The Ford Motor Co is recalling 20,484 hybrid crossover SUVs over battery concerns that could potentially lead to a fire, documents lodged with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) set out.
The recall covers 16,480 Escape and 4004 Lincoln Corsair plug-in-hybrid SUVs from model years 2020 to 2024.
In documents filed with the NHTSA, the automaker said the problem occurred in manufacturing, and resulting “microdefects and local stresses” could cause the high-voltage battery cell’s separator layer to become damaged, leading to a short circuit and potentially, a fire. For some years now we’ve been told words are violence. It’s a jarring assertion for Americans brought up on the axiom that sticks and stone may break their bones, but words can never hurt them. So, sticks, stones and words can break our bones? Our parents and relatives were lying to us? The center cannot hold. The trans “movement” goes a bit beyond that assertion with the certainty that the unexpressed thoughts of Normal Americans are a “trans genocide,” but that was a topic for another article.

An Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash on Christmas Day has prompted speculation the plane was shot down by Russia after it took a detour of hundreds of miles in the wrong direction and crash-landed with holes in the fuselage.
Russian military bloggers have suggested the plane, which crashed near the Kazakhstan city of Aktau, could have been mistaken for a Ukrainian drone.
The incident, which killed at least 38 people and injured a further 29, took place after a significant detour, which could have been caused by GPS jamming.

She was lamenting to her colleague, Peggy Noonan, that “we are at the point where even the president,” then corrected herself saying, “Elon Musk,” asserted that legacy media is dead. She appeared extremely worried, spilling her deepest concerns, in front of an empathetic audience gathered at the 92nd St. YMCA studio in New York.
It was as if Stahl was having an out-of-body experience, where she failed to factor in herself, in accounting for the reason why audiences were abandoning network news in droves.

Do people on the radical left demonstrate a mental disorder? Most people on the right roll their eyes at the hysteria and fears of the left, but what’s to be done?
Given that there were major shifts on the left in the 2024 election, is it possible that somehow sanity is breaking through? With the ongoing polarization that has burdened this country, it’s worthwhile to examine the psychological framework of leftists; both how they see themselves and how they see others. The results may also indicate whether the changes in voting behavior might continue, or whether they were situational.

The Army is refusing to name the female pilot killed aboard the military helicopter that collided with a passenger jet flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday.
In an announcement Friday, the Army, which disclosed the names of the two other soldiers in the chopper who died, said the woman’s family requested her identity be withheld from the public.
“At the request of the family, the name of the third Soldier will not be released at this time,” the Army Public Affairs wrote on their website.

He said in his guidance: “Our unity and purpose are instrumental to meeting the Department’s warfighting mission. Efforts to divide the force – to put one group ahead of another – erode camaraderie and threaten mission execution.”

Arizona State Representative Alex Kolodin called Arizona’s illegitimate Democrat governor out in a letter to her office Thursday after $339 million “disappeared” from the state budget.
Kolodin told The Gateway Pundit, “Maybe somebody’s siphoning off some funds.” He clarified, “Maybe some are mistakes. Who knows? But they don’t match up.”

David Lebryk, the top-ranking career U.S. Treasury Department official, will leave his post where he has been a top official for years.
Elon Musk and the DOGE team are currently examining the treasury payment systems.

Health officials in the Kansas City area are warning of a recent outbreak of tuberculosis (TB) cases, prompting an effort from state and local health agencies to stop the spread, according to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE).
The outbreak has killed two people since it started in January 2024, KDHE spokeswoman Jill Bronaugh said. Health officials in Kansas say there is no threat to the general public.
The outbreak has primarily affected Wyandotte County, with a total of 67 active cases reported as of Jan. 24. According to KDHE, 60 of these cases are in Wyandotte County, while the remaining seven are in neighboring Johnson County.

Complete and total incompetence by the FBI on this. They could have easily killed innocent people, and they did cause a lot of damage and refused to acknowledge error or pay for their damage. I hope that the SCOTUS flames the FBI, hard.
