After four years spent denying that inflation was a problem, Democrats are suddenly screaming at President Donald Trump for not having lowered the price of eggs already. “Democratic lawmakers slam Trump for not making good on promise to ‘immediately’ lower food prices amid egg shortage,” shouts NBC News, pointing to a letter signed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other leftist lawmakers who accuse Trump of backtracking on his promise to deal with Bidenflation. This is all part of a coordinated – and rather pathetic – campaign by the left, which is saying things such as “Under Donald Trump’s leadership, egg prices

I can’t help but chuckle when Elizabeth Warren goes on one of her silly rampages. (She is such a nerdy dweeb). “He promised to lower food prices! He promised!” Uh, it’s been one week, Pocahontas, just one little week. Where was all this concern about food prices during the last four years? Why didn’t you confront Bidet on national TV and demand that he put down his sippy cup and work on lowering prices?

On Jan. 20, 2021, I bought a dozen eggs at a local Aldi for $0.53. Today, that same store sells a dozen for over $2. It has been that way since about mid-2021, when FJB's executive orders mandating that America become dependent on foreign energy caused its cost -- which is built in at several spots in the "egg supply chain" to be fully reflected in the price. I'm willing to give PDJT's reversal of FJB's orders at least 6 months to show progress. Meantime, CBS might want to find a replacement for Brennan. High egg prices will get fixed. Brennan's stupidity? Not likely...

Egg prices have been rising for over a year due to the bird flu. Large numbers of egg producing chickens have been destroyed due to government rules stating if one chicken has it, the entire pen (sometimes equaling thousands) must be destroyed even if healthy. The push for cage free egg laws has also contributed to the increasing prices. Cage free chickens are also more likely to be exposed to bird flu. Not Biden' fault, not Trump' fault. Nature and chicken advocates fault.

“What is also that (the egg shortage) is that the Biden Administration and the Department of Agriculture directed the MASS KILLING of more than 100 million chickens, which has led to a lack of chicken supply in this country, therefore a lack of egg supply,” she said.

It’s a cardinal rule for many, if not most, economists that tariffs are at best a misguided strategy for reviving a nation’s economy, at worst a strategy that will backfire by hiking inflation and killing jobs. But don’t tell Americans that. Half of those in the most recent I&I/TIPP Poll support imposing new tariffs on other nations’ goods. President Trump came into office promising to impose a hefty 25% tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada, and an additional 10% tariff on China, citing those countries allowing “mass numbers of people and fentanyl” to cross their borders into the U.S. Initially, Trump said those tariffs would go into effect immediately, but

OK, we admit, we haven’t actually counted the number of reporters’ questions President Donald Trump has answered since being sworn in. And four years is certainly an exaggeration. In any case, someone covering the White House should keep track, because it won’t take long for Trump to beat Biden on this score. Biden held the fewest number of press conferences of any modern president. He would answer questions only from pre-selected reporters. He had to have a cheat sheet with him at all times to give his answers, and even then the White House would often have to rush out to correct
