Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered the US Air Force to return training modules about the Tuskegee Airmen and Women's Airforce Service Pilots, or WASPs, to the basic training curriculum. This training was reported as canceled Friday, an alleged casualty of President Trump's anti-DEI executive order; see The Air Force Seems to Have Decided to Use Malicious Compliance to Fight Trump's DEI Order – RedState.
The Air Force said Sunday that videos about the famed Tuskegee Airmen and a unit of pioneering female aviators would be restored to the basic training curriculum for new recruits beginning Monday.

Colombia refused two repatriation flights of illegal immigrants on Sunday, setting into motion one of the most savage actions by a U.S. president in recent memory.
In what he thought was a power move, President Gustavo Petro told President Donald Trump that he would not allow any more of his citizens to be returned until a protocol for the "dignified treatment" of "migrants" was established. Trump didn't flinch, immediately announcing escalating tariffs and a complete shutdown of visas for those traveling from Colombia, including government officials. With that promise of retaliation made, left-wingers immediately set to claim the results would be catastrophic.

The New York Post reports on another immigration crackdown:
Federal agents rounded up dozens of members of Tren de Aragua [Ed.: around fifty] in an overnight raid on a “makeshift nightclub” in Denver — after the vicious Venezuelan prison gang terrorized the city and the suburb of Aurora.
The DEA said agents in Colorado interrupted an “invite-only party” where dozens of the gangbangers were cutting loose in Adams County — just outside Denver city limits.
The busts netted cash, weapons, guns and drugs — including Tusi or “pink cocaine,” a powerful narcotic that the gang has played a major role in distributing across the US.

When CBS announced that it landed the first post-inaugural interview with Vice President JD Vance, with Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation, many conservatives questioned why Vance would even give the time of day to hateful “legacy” media. Within minutes, we had our answer.
The interview wasn’t very wide-ranging, with Brennan honing in on those spots where she could try to put Vance on his back foot. The first question set the tone: MARGARET BRENNAN: Pete Hegseth, it was a tie, bipartisan opposition, smallest margin since the job was created. You had to break that tie. Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a warning that President Donald Trump has been clear that the United States will “no longer be lied to nor taken advantage of.”

Rubio also referenced how Colombia President Gustavo Petro had initially “authorized flights and provided all needed authorizations,” before then refusing to accept “two flights containing a total of 160 deportable migrants.” After Trump intervened and threatened to impose several measures

The Kansas City Chiefs held off the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship Game, 32-29, in an absolute thriller at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.

Remember last week, when information leaked ahead of the incoming Trump administration's planned immigration raids in Chicago on Day Two (Tuesday)?
As I previously wrote, President Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, wasn't having it, telling a legacy media member that it wouldn't slow down operations already in motion in sanctuary cities across the country. Well, there's some bad news for those in blue states and cities who were patting themselves on the back for thwarting the return of law and order via Trump 47; they are quickly learning that the Trump administration does what it promises to do, as the operations got underway in the Windy City on Sunday:

President Donald Trump has been emphatic about his desire to acquire Greenland — the latest development in an eventful saga going back over 150 years. The world’s largest island has long presented an attractive prospect for American power projection. Located on the United States’s northeastern flank, developments in technology and the changing need for resources have only made the target more tempting. Before Trump’s efforts in 2019 and 2024-25, the U.S. undertook at least three major attempts to acquire Greenland throughout its history.
Here’s what happened the last three times the U.S. tried to acquire Greenland.

In the end, Donald Trump has Democrats to thank for delivering the first legislative victory of his second term.
Hours after he was sworn into office, a dozen Senate Democrats joined all Republicans in approving a bill that would require the detention and deportation of migrants accused of theft-related crimes. Moments later, the chamber unanimously confirmed their colleague, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, to be Trump’s secretary of state. The votes marked a sharp reversal from the early days of Trump’s first term, when his narrow electoral college win sparked a nationwide resistance movement and a succession of Democratic victories. But unlike eight years ago, Trump won the popular vote

Pseudo-intellectual elites like to talk about the “arc of history.” Barack Obama loved that phrase almost as much as he loved the word “existential.” Things in Barack’s rhetorical world didn’t just exist. They were in the state of “existential” and forever bending along the “arc of history.”
The elites assured that this “arc of history” will take us inevitably to a world of equity, inclusion and diversity – a utopian world the elites have always imagined. They even have a theme song for the journey:

America is headed for a depopulation crisis.
That, at least, is the major takeaway of a new report released this month by the Congressional Budget Office. According to the CBO, if current trends continue, American deaths will outnumber American births in a mere eight years. With a united Republican government, we have an opportunity to address this upcoming crisis by building on the economic success of President Trump’s first term and making it easier for Americans to start or expand their families.

Pete Hegseth was finally confirmed as Defense Secretary on Friday evening, but not before Democrats and their RINO allies tried their best to derail his confirmation by dusting off the old playbook they used on Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
As PJ Media reported earlier this week, a convenient eleventh-hour accusation emerged from Danielle Hegseth Dietrich, the ex-wife of our new Secretary of Defense’s brother, who claimed that Pete Hegseth had abused his former wife, Samantha Deering. According to Danielle Dietrich's dubious affidavit, Deering allegedly "feared for her life," and was forced to hide in a closet to escape Hegseth's supposed fury.

Americans are unifying behind President Trump far more than we did in 2017. Eight years ago, cries of “not my president” resounded through Washington, DC, but this year, it seems the hard-left “resistance” has gone out with a whimper.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case inside the federal government.
A new poll from Napolitan News showed that 64% of the federal bureaucrats who work in DC and voted for Kamala Harris vow not to implement a lawful order from Trump if they consider it bad policy.

It was a great ride while it lasted, hey, lefties? But it’s over now. You have been left in the screech forward of history. That stink? It’s the burning wreckage of your “ideas”. All you weasely little people like the slender tight-mouthed beta-males at the Biden White House, or the cross-dressing central banker Mark Carney who is laughably trying to be Prime Minister of Canada after bankrupting not one but TWO countries, are history. Like Rory Stewart, the regime apologist in the U.K., who says things like “there’s something really dark and nasty behind the right”.

The Central Intelligence Agency said COVID-19 likely originated from a lab leak in China in a Saturday statement, pivoting from a previously neutral stance just a few days after Director John Ratcliffe was sworn in, multiple outlets report.
“CIA assesses with low confidence that a research-related origin of the COVID-19 pandemic is more likely than a natural origin based on the available body of reporting,” a CIA spokesperson shared in a statement to NBC News.

In his first term in office, President Trump apparently thought he could operate as if the federal government were a corporation he headed as Chief Executive and Commander in Chief of the armed forces. He assumed those beneath him would give him honest counsel, would perform their assigned duties, and follow his directives. He learned otherwise. All the steps he took the first week after beginning his astonishing second term are those a wise CEO and commander in chief must take to do the job he promised and was elected to do. The scope and speed of his actions are nothing short of breathtaking: Pardoning and commuting over 1000

These folks rolled lucky number 47.
President Donald Trump prompted a crowd of gamblers on a Las Vegas casino floor to burst into cheers Saturday — as he received a hero’s welcome while taking a tour of the facility after giving a speech in Sin City.
The raucous gaming enthusiasts chanted “USA! USA!,” as the president made his victory lap at the Circa Resort & Casino in Vegas’ downtown gambling district, where Trump had just made a speech in which he promised to eliminate taxes on tips. (Photo) Trump clapped and excited the crowd who held their phones up to capture this brush with history.

After woke Pope Francis whined about the Trump administration’s deportations of illegal alien criminals, lifelong Catholic and new border czar Tom Homan searingly exposed the hypocrisy of a man who lives behind the famed Vatican walls. Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, and those who live behind massive medieval walls shouldn’t tear down other people’s fences. On Newsmax recently, Homan pulled no punches on the subject of illegal immigration, utterly rejecting the false claim that protecting a nation‘s sovereignty is against Catholic Church doctrine (actually, heads of state have a duty to protect their people and can of course restrict immigration —

President Donald Trump indicated Saturday that he would like to “just clean out” Gaza and send the bombed-out Palestinian refugees from there to neighboring Middle Eastern nations.
During an extended question-and-answer on Air Force One, President Trump floated the idea of moving Palestinians to create a clean slate.
“I’d like Egypt to take people,” the president said, the AP reports, adding, “You’re talking about probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing and say, ‘You know, it’s over.’”

You can still get sports coverage on ESPN, but the ostensible sports network has been famously woke for years, with its NBA analyst and “First Take” host Stephen A. Smith leading the way. Smith has demonstrated more than once, however, that he is not a doctrinaire leftist who never dares to question the elites’ line. He has just shown this independent streak yet again, even going so far as to express regret that he voted for Kamala Harris, and offering a solid, common-sense reason why Trump won. Will Smith’s leftist fans follow his lead and start thinking for themselves as well?

Donald Trump’s first week in office was a whirlwind: executive orders on everything from closing the border to ending federal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mandates.
Social media postings announced new business initiatives and put world leaders on notice that a new sheriff is in town.
Heads were spinning among the business and political elites, both back home and here at the World Economic Forum, the annual confab of the globalist crowd where I’ve been hanging for the past few days.
That’s because the decidedly non-globalist Trump, people here truly believe, could be on the verge of solving maybe the most intractable problem the world faces:

Former President Joe Biden, who is Catholic, joined a historically black Freemason lodge just one day before he left the presidency, an offense punishable by excommunication in the Church.
Biden was conferred with “Master Mason membership” and “full honors” on Jan. 19 at the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of South Carolina, according to the Conference of Grand Masters announcement. Joining the Freemasons as a Catholic forbids an individual from receiving communion, with the potential for excommunication, according to canon law of the Catholic Church.

President Donald Trump addressed pro-life advocates in a video speech at the 52nd annual March for Life on Friday, praising them for their “extraordinary love and compassion for the unborn” while promising to “end the weaponization of law enforcement against Americans of faith.” Trump pledged in the video — which played to a crowd of thousands gathered in Washington, DC, in frigid weather — that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will investigate the hundreds of pro-abortion attacks on churches and pregnancy centers.

Just the other day, a local technical college near Stuttgart, Germany, rang Kai Höss with alarming news. Someone had been etching swastikas on the doors of the loos.
This followed a number of student protests against Israeli operations in Gaza. Might Kai give a talk to the students?
He did not hesitate. Days later he was addressing a packed assembly, reading a first-hand account of scenes from the death camp at Auschwitz. [SNIP] Kai speaks with a unique authority. The author of those accounts was not some terrified witness. He was Kai's grandfather Rudolf Höss, commandant of Auschwitz.

President Trump touted the first 100 hours of his historic second term in a new video highlighting the start of what he has dubbed the “golden age” of America.
The 47th commander in chief shared the highlight reel on his social platforms Saturday afternoon, with the two-minute clip showcasing various moments since he was sworn in on Monday as a snippet of his inauguration speech played.
“THE GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA BEGINS RIGHT!” Trump captioned the video, which praised the president for “the most historic 100 hours in American history.”

President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security is filling President Joe Biden’s gaps in the nation’s border wall.
Trump’s new border patrol chief, Michael Banks, touted the wall construction in a Saturday tweet: “Efforts like installing wall panels to fill critical gaps in Deming, New Mexico, exemplify our commitment to enhancing infrastructure and operational effectiveness.” (X) The expanded concrete-and-steel wall will complement Trump’s many other border measures. Those changes include the deployment of more border guards and the rollout of legal changes that minimize loopholes in the border law.

Trump recently commented on the fact that of all the pardons issued by Biden, he didn’t pardon himself. Or did he?
CNN’s Jake Tapper was talking to NY Times journalist Maggie Haberman this week and casually suggested that it’s possible Joe Biden secretly pardoned himself before leaving office. That sounds like kind of a big deal, if true.
Wouldn’t it be nice if journalists actually did their jobs and found out if this happened?
RedState has details: CNN anchor Jake Tapper is raising some eyebrows by speculating that there is a possibility former President Joe Biden may have issued a pardon no one knows about.

Alien hunting! Alien hunting!
We knew the mass deportations were going to begin right away, and it was likely that some of the targeted cities were going to leak to the press, though it was an open secret as to which urban enclave would be raided. In Los Angeles, it’s already begun with ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers. The illegals get detained, and military planes export them the hell out of our country. ATF, DEA, and the US Marshal Service have been granted deportation powers.

Dear news media and DC establishment types, I’m here to say one thing: we don’t care. There’s a lot of clamoring about what President Donald J. Trump did on Friday night: give at least 12 inspectors general the axe. They heard those two famous words: ‘You’re fired.’ Yet, some note that this violated policy, as the Senate must be informed of such termination within 30 days (via WaPo) [emphasis mine]: The White House late Friday fired the independent inspectors general of at least 14 major federal agencies in a purge that could clear the way for President Donald Trump to install loyalists
