The New York Post reports on another immigration crackdown: Federal agents rounded up dozens of members of Tren de Aragua [Ed.: around fifty] in an overnight raid on a “makeshift nightclub” in Denver — after the vicious Venezuelan prison gang terrorized the city and the suburb of Aurora. The DEA said agents in Colorado interrupted an “invite-only party” where dozens of the gangbangers were cutting loose in Adams County — just outside Denver city limits. The busts netted cash, weapons, guns and drugs — including Tusi or “pink cocaine,” a powerful narcotic that the gang has played a major role in distributing across the US.

Small nit, but it should be noted that Petro's counter offer was refused, and WE will determine how and when these criminal invaders are returned. Our military transports ... without swag bags. Maybe a blanket and a boxed lunch. Petro's attempt to negotiate his misdeeds by allowing or even encouraging this illegal invasion was stopped in its tracks. And the President even birdied the par 5!

There's no reason to impute any good (i.e., pro-American) intentions in the committee that made all FJB's decisions for him. These traitors took away the border and allowed anyone, even the worst criminals, into the country. We must not forgive or forget what they have done. People should go down for this. FTA: Occam’s Razor, in its broader version, suggests that the simplest and most straightforward explanation is probably correct: Biden and his minions hate America, and they were using Venezuelan gangs, among many other tools, to damage our country. No doubt about it.

Campaign Myths Exploded: JD Vance Is a

It’s now become “a thing” among conservatives to wait for the JD Vance ambush of Sunday morning mainstream political media. Clips of Vance expertly handling hostile questioning from Face the Nation‘s Margaret Brennan circulate around conservative Twitter the way Michael Jordan–era highlight reels used to get played throughout the day on rebroadcasts of Sportscaster. Do we think this would be happening for Nikki Haley? Or for Doug Burgum? Is anyone among the many, many pundits who confidently explained that JD Vance was a disastrous, “net-negative” pick who “will do harm” to the ticket going to revisit his views?

US stocks were set for a steep selloff Monday morning after a surprise advancement from a Chinese artificial intelligence company, DeepSeek, threatened the aura of invincibility surrounding America’s technology industry. DeepSeek, a one-year-old startup, revealed a stunning capability: It presented a ChatGPT-like AI model called R1, which has all the familiar abilities, operating at a fraction of the cost of OpenAI’s, Google’s or Meta’s popular AI models. The company said it had spent just $5.6 million training its newest AI model, compared with the hundreds of millions or billions of dollars US companies spend on their AI technologies. The Wall Street Journal first reported the ultra-low cost.

After hours of gunfire and explosions in the streets of Goma - home to more than a million people - are now quiet, according to local media reports. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Sunday that “Colombia and all nations should be on notice” after President Trump said he was placing tariffs and a travel ban on the South American country. “Colombia and all nations should be on notice – Congress is fully prepared to pass sanctions and other measures against those that do not fully cooperate or follow through on requirements to accept their citizens who are illegally in the United States,” Johnson said in a post on the social platform X. “President Trump is putting America first, just like he said he would. And Congress will implement policies that reinforce his agenda,” he added.

In a Sunday night missive, the White House Office of Communications shared big news: the South American country of Colombia has succumbed to America’s demands and will not be subject to crippling sanctions unless it “fails to honor this agreement.” Sometimes, you have to cry uncle, and it appears that Colombian President Gustavo Petro did just that after acting defiant earlier Sunday by saying his country would refuse to take back its citizens who were in America illegally. The current president of the United States, however, is not named Joe Biden. After realizing who he was dealing with, Petro apparently even retweeted the White House’s statement:

The post was shared around the time when Trump said that he would impose travel bans, sanctions and tariffs on Colombia because the country refused to accept two US military planes which were carrying deported migrants as part of his immigration crackdown.

Colombia refused two repatriation flights of illegal immigrants on Sunday, setting into motion one of the most savage actions by a U.S. president in recent memory. In what he thought was a power move, President Gustavo Petro told President Donald Trump that he would not allow any more of his citizens to be returned until a protocol for the "dignified treatment" of "migrants" was established. Trump didn't flinch, immediately announcing escalating tariffs and a complete shutdown of visas for those traveling from Colombia, including government officials. With that promise of retaliation made, left-wingers immediately set to claim the results would be catastrophic.

A “Calexit” initiative to allow California to secede from the United States has been cleared to legally gather signatures. If passed, the proposed measure — “Calexit,” a nod to the Brexit vote in the UK — would be on the ballot in 2028 and ask voters: “Should California leave the United States and become a free and independent country?” For the measure to pass, at least 50% of registered voters must participate in the election, and at least 55% — or more than 500,000 people, must vote “yes” by July 22.
