Phoenix, Arizona— Steven K. Bannon, former Trump White House chief strategist and host of ‘War Room,’ told Breitbart News that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) must cede his gavel by the end of 2024 for the good of the MAGA movement. Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, caught up with Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix on Saturday night and called for Johnson to step down within days. He detailed that there is a swell of opposition to Johnson within his own conference as the presidential election certification looms on January 6.Rep. We need a fighter for Speaker, not someone that negotiates with Schumer and Jefferies, instead of the Republicans. There are some condemning the House Freedom Caucus, who are the only ones that stood and fought for the last 4 years. I have never heard those people say as much bad about the Democrats.

Bannon actually thinks he is important. But in reality he is just another jailbird loser who clings to Trump's shirttails. Go away Bannon. You have nothing to offer.

VERY BAD IDEA if he leaves as McCarrthy did that would be one less Repulican vote. Hard to understand what Steve B thinks that would help. I fully believe Preident Trump and others will be able to help Johnson to be an excellant strong speaker. That small majority he has had to work with was certainly a problem.

amazing how some Rs never learn from mistakes. do nothing until you have a plan and votes for replacement. deja vu all over again. if no Speaker in place, DJT cannot be certified on 1/6. bombast is no substitute for good planning and groundwork.

Mike Johnson's negotiations were awesome! He first allowed the Uniparty to do what they always do at this time of year. The 1500 + page bill was exposed!! The second bill was not good either. By the time he presented the third bill, that had to have already been written and ready to go, was presented, it was passed. Brilliant!! Just wait until the Representatives who voted for the first bill come up for reelection in two years. Can't wait.

Bannon is right. Johnson is a likable guy, but completely wrong for GOP speaker. Why do we fear chaos to the extent that we cannot do the right thing? Time for the timid consternation to be put aside.

#4, do you know what Steve Bannon was sent to jail for? He refused to testify before the thoroughly corrupt, Kangaroo Court J6 committee, as did Peter Navarro. These men are heroes. “Jailbirds” is a pretty simplistic narrative. Steve Bannon is an extremely important part of President Trump’s coalition. He is the mastermind behind the Precinct Strategy that helped tremendously in cutting down the dem vote fraud. As an American patriot and fighter with a huge megaphone, he has a lot to offer.

President-elect Donald Trump said he would rename North America's tallest mountain reversing a change made by former President Obama while he was in office. Speaking at a conservative TurningPoints USA conference in Phoenix, the 78-year-old said he would rename Alaska's Mount Denali to Mount McKinley after the 25th president. 'They took his name off Mount McKinley,' Trump told supporters on Sunday. He praised McKinley as a 'great president' and said his administration would bring back the name Mount McKinley 'because I think he deserves it.' It comes after Obama sided with the state of Alaska in the long-running dispute over the highest mountain peak's name in 2015 and had it changed

A grinning Luigi Mangione appeared to yuk it up in a Manhattan courtroom Monday as he pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione, 26, walked into Manhattan Supreme Court at 9:26 a.m. with his feet chained, wearing a maroon sweater over a white collared shirt, tan khakis, and orange prison shoes – an outfit that oddly matched the attire of his attorney Karen Friedman Agnifilo. At least two dozen women packed the courtroom for the twisted heartthrob, with just six men watching on. (Photo)

Rounding up gang members is never a bad idea. When those gang members are part of a horrendous Venezuelan prison gang, Tren de Aragua, and are in the United States illegally, it's an even better idea. Finally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seems to be taking this matter seriously. On Monday, as an early Christmas present to the American people, we see that ICE has carried out operations in Colorado and New York that have resulted in the arrest of "dozens" of Tren de Aragua goblins. U.S. authorities arrested dozens of members of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua during recent operations in two major American cities.

President-elect Donald Trump has reignited his ambition for U.S. ownership and control of Greenland, declaring it an “absolute necessity” for national security and global freedom. This renewed interest, first expressed during his initial term, was announced alongside his selection of PayPal co-founder Ken Howery as the U.S. ambassador to Denmark. In a statement released on Truth Social, Trump wrote: I am pleased to announce Ken Howery as my choice for United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark. Ken is a World renowned entrepreneur, investor, and public servant, who served our Nation brilliantly during my First Term as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden,

For a little bit, it looked like things were getting grim for Pete Hegseth’s nomination to be our next secretary of defense. Trump already lost Matt Gaetz’s attorney general nomination, as there weren’t enough votes for confirmation. Then, reports trickled in that Ron DeSantis might be tapped as Hegseth’s replacement. I don’t doubt that contingency plans were made, but Trump isn’t going to abandon Hegseth. Gaetz withdrew when the writing was on the wall, but Hegseth appears to have the support, though it will still be a rocky and likely humiliating road to the defense secretary’s office. The Democrats and the media will recycle and likely manufacture fake news

If anyone in the future cares enough to write an authentic history of the 2024 presidential campaign, they might begin by noting that American politics exists downstream of American culture, which is a deep and broad river. Like any river, American culture follows a particular path, which has been reconfigured at key moments by new technologies. In turn, these technologies, which redefine both space and time—canals and lakes, the postal system, the telegraph, railroads, radio and later television, the internet, and most recently the networking of billions of people in real time on social media platforms—set the rules by which stories are communicated, audiences are configured, and individuals define themselves.

As drone sightings over New Jersey continue to raise questions, a new tool could bring answers about the source of these flying vehicles — if the government could get it off the ground. Earlier this year, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began requiring all unmanned aircraft systems to be equipped with Remote ID technology, which makes every equipped drone uniquely identifiable to authorities, like a license plate on a car. The FAA announced that it would provide a database that could be accessed by local law enforcement, but nearly one year later, local authorities still can't get into it themselves.

Under the spending bill, which was passed in the Senate on Saturday, the government will remain open until March 14, 2025, according to NBC News. The bill’s passage in the Senate comes after the House passed the spending bill on Friday night. NBC noted that in addition to the incoming Trump administration needing to address “another government funding deadline and a debt limit,” Trump’s cabinet picks need to be confirmed “through the Senate,” among other things.

Someone acting for the president just made a decision that only a president can make and commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 murderers on federal death row out of a sense of someone's moral imperative. The Office of the President of the United States of America announced the commutations early Monday morning of Christmas week. A statement issued by the White House said the president was "guided by my conscience" to commute the death penalties for some of the worst of the worst offenders in America. At the heart of the Christmas story, nestled in the opening verses of two Gospels, lies the birth of Jesus, the long awaited Messiah. These words speak of a King born not in the grand halls of a world capital, but in the squalor of a manger—a place of vulnerability. As the angels proclaimed peace on earth, humanity was presented with the ultimate paradox: the Prince of Peace, born unexpectedly, in the midst of ongoing war and turmoil. For centuries, the people of Israel had awaited the Messiah. Prophecies spoke of a leader—a descendant of David—who would reign with justice, righteousness, and power, establishing peace and ending war.
