It's a Wonderful Life fans have expressed outrage that Amazon Prime cut a crucial scene from the beloved Christmas classic.
An abridged version of the 1946 film has been edited to leave out a scene that many consider the most important in the movie, which follows the character of businessman George Bailey as he considers taking his own life.
The scene in question, known as the 'Pottersville scene,' sees George wish that he had never been born before his guardian angel reminds him that he needs to earn 'his angel wings.'In the original version of the movie, George tells the angel that he believes he is worth more dead than alive.

A mysterious shadow super PAC that emerged late in the 2024 cycle and was suspected of working to sabotage Republicans in tight races by propping up third-party hopefuls has been hit with multiple complaints.
The Americans for Public Trust organization filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission Monday targeting the Save Western Culture super PAC and another organization, Stop China Now, Inc., which it alleged was illegally used as a straw donor to pad the pockets of the enigmatic super PAC.
(Photo) “The available information supports finding reason to believe … Stop China Now, Inc. was, in fact, a straw donor that transmitted a contribution for the purpose of concealing

During the 2024 presidential election cycle the Republican Party, led by President-elect Donald Trump, made major inroads into voting demographics typically dominated by Democrats. Trump made historic gains with Asian, Latino, African-American, working class and young voters, busting through the Democratic Party's typical coalition.
"Donald Trump reshaped the U.S. electorate once again this year, piling up support among Hispanic voters, young people, and Americans without college degrees -- and winning more votes in nearly all of the country as he reclaimed the presidency," (Snip) Now, the GOP is welcoming two high profile elected officials as new members:

When the London Times published a late November report claiming that Donald Trump plans to “kick transgender troops out of the military,” leftist groups and media outlets clamored against the idea, warning that an estimated 15,000 transgender troops would be impacted. There’s no evidence this figure is even close to accurate.
That startlingly high figure of 15,000 trans-identifying troops has been pushed, without sourcing, by major news outlets including the London Times, Military.com, and Newsweek. Rachel Branaman, a spokeswoman for the pro-LGBTQ Modern Military Association of America, used the number to suggest that any future Trump administration action to remove these troops would imperil the country’s war-fighting ability

From Matt Gaetz to Pete Hegseth to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., several of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks have faced major blowback and media opposition campaigns aimed at derailing their nominations.
But one pick conservatives were bracing for a knock-down, drag-out fight over is seemingly sailing toward confirmation despite early wailing from Democrats: would-be FBI Director Kash Patel.Patel was the former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense and rose to prominence after being a vocal critic of the Mueller investigation into “Russian interference” during the 2016 election, which turned up nothing but caused a major distraction during Trump’s first term.

As one of his last acts as the occupant of the Oval Office, President Joe Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates Monday, including child murderers, rapists and cop killers. The move caused bipartisan outrage and a number of victim family members are speaking out. "While this is truly distressing news on a personal level for my family, it also feels like a complete dismissal and undermining of the federal justice system," Marissa Gibson, the widow of murdered Columbus Police Officer Bryan Hurst told the Columbus Dispatch about Biden's decision. "[Daryl] Lawrence's sentence was imposed by a jury, and it should be upheld as such."

Former DC Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Shane Lamond has been convicted of “obstruction of justice” and three counts of “making false statements” for being in contact with former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio.
Lamond, 49, often coordinated with Tarrio to keep his group away from areas where Antifa militants were counter-protesting to prevent political violence.
Before his arrest, Lamond had been with the department for 22 years and served as supervisor of the Intelligence Branch for his last four years.
District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson found Lamond guilty on Monday after a seven-day trial.
Lamond was accused of tipping off Tarrio about a warrant for his arrest over the burning of

Christianity today is “paganism” and Christians are “pagans” and “not believers,” according to Florida Imam Abu Usama At-Thahabi, who urged Muslims to reject Western cultural influences and warned them against wishing others a “merry Christmas” or even “happy holidays.”
In his Friday, December 20, sermon at the Masjid As-Sunnah mosque and Islamic center serving the Orlando, Florida, area, the American-born Abu Usama delivered a scathing critique of Christianity, declaring it polluted with pagan practices, while urging Muslims to remain steadfast in their identity.

An accused California shoplifter was stunned to learn she might be slapped with a felony charge after “new laws” that crack down on low-level theft, police video shows.
The Seal Beach Police Department in Orange County published a montage of security, dash and body camera videos that show three women allegedly lifting more than $600 in merch from an Ulta Beauty before officers caught up with the gals, slapped them in cuffs and shoved them into a squad car.
That was when one suspect asks if they could be charged with a felony, to which her accomplice delivers the sobering news: “B—h, new laws. Stealing is a felony.”

A top Republican on the House DOGE caucus has revealed to DailyMail.com some jaw-dropping government projects that will be cut by Donald Trump's new initiative.
The president-elect tasked Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy with cutting trillions in federal spending in the coming years using the newly developed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
And the pair have already been hard at work injecting their influence in to politics. Just before Christmas Musk used the bully pulpit of his app, X, to wage war against Republican Speaker Mike Johnson to destroy a massive, 1,547-page government funding bill. The bill was later revised to 116 pages. Then it was revised again.
