Border czar-designate Tom Homan on Monday criticized Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York after a woman died Sunday after a migrant allegedly lit her on fire while on the New York City subway.
Sebastin Zapeta, a 33-year-old Guatemalan illegal immigrant previously deported by the Trump administration, was arrested Sunday by the New York Police Department in connection with the incident, Fox News reported. Homan ripped Hochul, who touted the subway’s safety after the killing, about the incident.

Remove him. Now.
It's been sold by Democrats as a mercy to allow disgraced President Joe Biden to ride out his term. How much harm can he do?, they ask.
A lot, it turns out. An ungodly amount.Devastating, unjust, dangerous harms — all exacted by a president we now know, thanks to blockbuster exposés last week, has been cognitively impaired since before Day One.
If the Democratic Party has a shred of self-preservation left, if its leaders hold any hope for rebounding in 2028 as the self-appointed guardians of decency, moral uprightness, and democracy itself, they must remove this dishonorable president immediately.
Early Monday morning, Biden commuted the death sentences

Firebrand former Rep. Matt Gaetz on Sunday teased that he might run for US Senate — even as he faces renewed scrutiny over accusations of sexual misconduct.
Gaetz (R-Fla.), speaking at a conservative event in Arizona, noted how senators essentially tanked his brief bid to become US attorney general.
“It seems I may not have had enough support in the United States Senate. Maybe I’ll just run for Marco Rubio’s vacant seat in the United States Senate and join some of those folks,” Gaetz quipped at the Turning Point Action’s AmericaFest event in Phoenix. (Photo) Rubio, a Florida senator, has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump as his secretary of state-designee.

On Monday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) released the latest edition of his annual “Festivus Report,” pitching it this year as being not just a precursor for the incoming Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but also a useful guide for anyone looking to cut down on federal spending.
The 2024 report highlights more than $1 trillion of “government waste,” including a Florida man stealing $8 million in COVID-19 relief funds and using the money to buy an island and more, “ice-skating drag queens,” a $12 million Las Vegas pickleball complex, $4,840,082 on Ukrainian influencers, $32,596.12 for breakdancing, and the U.S. Navy being “set to waste almost $90 billion on ineffective Navy vessels.”

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has slammed Donald Trump’s proposal to retake the Panama Canal.
Petro, a former Marxist guerilla and vocal supporter of Joe Biden, wrote in a post on the X platform that the number of illegal migrants crossing heading to the southern border would increase by “millions” unless Trump recognized the canal belongs to Panama.
He wrote:
Until the last consequences I will be on the side of Panama and the defense of its sovereignty.
If the new US government wants to talk business, we will talk business, face to face, and for the benefit of our people, but dignity will never be negotiated.

President-elect Donald Trump’s no-nonsense border czar Tom Homan slammed New York Gov. Kathy Hochul for boasting on X that she had improved subway safety just hours after an illegal migrant allegedly burned a sleeping passenger to death on an F train.
The accused killer was once deported back to his native Guatemala but later sneaked back into the US and availed himself of the shelter system in the Big Apple, where sanctuary status is the law of the land.
“Governor Hochul, shame on you. There’s nothing you can say that’s going to make this right in New York,” Homan said on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning as he ripped Hochul for

Those of us gray-haired folks who were around and watching politics in the '90s remember Bill Clinton, the first Baby Boomer president, as a young chief executive. Clinton was the third-youngest president to assume office at 46 years old, beaten in that record only by John F. Kennedy and Theodore Roosevelt. But time marches on for us all; now former President Clinton is 78 years old and has had some health issues. On Monday, he was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for testing after developing a fever.. Clinton, 78, "has been admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for testing and observation after developing a fever," said Angel Ureña,

Then-Vice President Joe Biden introduced his son, Hunter Biden, to Chinese premier Xi Jinping, on an official visit in 2013, new photos show. Vice President Biden also met Hunter’s business associates in China, despite later denials.
The photos — only a partial archive — were released in response to a lawsuit filed by Stephen Miller’s America First Legal foundation against the National Archives and Records Administration in 2022.They shed new light on the Biden family’s history of influence-peddling, which dates back to the Obama administration, and which Democrats denied as they impeached President Donald Trump and claimed Hunter’s laptop was Russian “disinformation.” (X)

When he takes office four weeks from today, President Trump will have four short years to fulfill his America First agenda of fixing Washington institutions and making the federal government work once again for the American people, not vice versa. That’s a tall order of business to accomplish in a short timeframe, and President Trump knows it. Unlike in his first term, he has zero time to waste on Cabinet choices that are not aligned 100 percent with his plan and purpose.
For that reason, in selecting his team of leaders for his administration since the election, President Trump has placed a premium on three characteristics:

President Joe Biden's 11th hour commutations for 37 federal death row inmates, many of them who raped and murdered children, are not going over well.
"37 murders are spared the death sentence in yet another desperate act of outgoing president Joe Biden trying to get some media and left-wing approval. They include some of the most heinous of double and triple murders," Democratic pollster Mark Penn posted on X. "Would he have done this with an election pending? Of course not. He had four years to do this if believed it was the right thing to do as crime and murders spiked from before Covid.
