Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi underwent a successful hip replacement in Germany after sustaining injuries during a trip to Luxembourg, a spokesperson said on Saturday. [Snip] "Speaker Pelosi is grateful to U.S. military staff at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and medical staff at Hospital Kirchberg for their excellent care and kindness. Speaker Pelosi is enjoying the overwhelming outpouring of prayers and well wishes and is ever determined to ensure access to quality health care for all Americans," Krager added. The former speaker was taken by MEDEVAC to Landstuhl, Germany, a Defense official told NBC News, after Pelosi was injured Friday while on an official congressional trip to Luxembourg.

In a jaw-dropping interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby struggled to provide clear answers about a bizarre and alarming series of drone sightings in New Jersey.
MacCallum, unimpressed by Kirby’s evasions, grilled him relentlessly on why the administration hasn’t even bothered to shoot down one of these drones to uncover their origins.
Instead of providing clarity, Kirby fumbled through talking points about “policy options” and “inter-agency conversations.” His repeated refrain of “we don’t know”

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is recovering after a dramatic fall on Friday, as previously reported.
Pelosi, 84, was hospitalized after sustaining an injury while traveling with a bipartisan congressional delegation. Pelosi was in Luxembourg to attend events marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, one of the most significant engagements of World War II on the Western Front.
According to her spokesperson, Ian Krager, Pelosi is receiving "excellent treatment from doctors and medical professionals" and is expected to recover. However, she will not be able to attend the remaining engagements of the congressional delegation.

If your third-grader is competing in the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee, good news: “W-O-M-Y-N” is now an acceptable spelling of “women.” (What a time to be alive!)
In fact, “W-O-M-Y-N” is explicitly listed on the National Spelling Bee’s list of 50 “study words” that’s distributed to third-graders.
Nobody knows when spoken language began, but written language developed independently in Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, and Mesoamerica. Presumably, shortly after the emergence of writing, was the emergence of the crotchety, ornery, spinster schoolteacher who’d shame you before the class when you misspelled a word.
And now, the proper spelling of women is “W-O-M-Y-N.”

Let me begin with a phrase I never used to start a story in 45 years as a TV reporter: “I may be wrong.” This entire piece may be wrong, but those 45 years on the air and 2000+ hours as a pilot tell me I’m right. The MSM floods their newscasts with reports of drone-terrified citizens... [Snip] Not everyone closes their curtains...word got out that Mrs. Sushbaum in 7B puts on a great show every night. [Snip] Maybe it is Martians, Russians, Iranians, or Lord knows who. If it is, they sure traveled a long way to see Mrs. Sushbaum in her birthday suit.

The U.S. Military Academy has apologized for falsely saying President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Pentagon, Peter Hegseth, was never accepted into the school, known as West Point.
“A review of our records indicates Peter Hegseth was offered admission to West Point in 1999 but did not attend. An incorrect statement involving Hegseth’s admission to the U.S. Military Academy was released by an employee on Dec. 10, 2024,” a spokesperson for West Point told The Epoch Times in an email.
“Upon further review of an archived database, employees realized this statement was in error. Hegseth was offered acceptance to West Point as a prospective member of the Class of 2003.

Experts are worried about how President-elect Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy as Health and Human Services secretary will affect vaccination rates for school children, which have been on the decline.
Schools have seen a drop in childhood vaccinations since the COVID-19 pandemic, when critics of the COVID-19 vaccines increased anti-vaccine sentiments in generalizing . Public health groups see vaccines as a huge bulwark against disease and fear Kennedy will only increase skepticism if he is confirmed.

Warring Democratic factions are in a 'knife fight' for control of the Party after Kamala Harris's humiliating election loss, say political insiders.
The battle lines are now drawn between West Coast liberals, Bernie Sanders-socialists and moderate technocrats in the Midwest, who insist the party has completely lost touch with the average American voter.
But first, there is one thing that all sides seemingly agree on: The current political establishment must be chased out of national politics for good.

A newly minted and massive Iranian drone carrier was captured in new satellite images sailing in the Persian Gulf this week — the ship’s first reported sighting since leaving its home port for the first time in mid-November.
The satellite images taken Thursday by commercial operator Maxar Technologies shows three Iranian drone ships in the waters off the country’s coast as theories have swirled in the US that Iran could be behind the mysterious drone sightings across the tri-state area, according to Business Insider.
Iran’s new carrier — the Shahid Bagheri — is a converted shipping container that was outfitted to support drone operations and was last seen on Nov. 12,

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that he was granting 39 pardons and 1,499 commutations in what his administation called the “largest single-day grant of clemency in modern history.” But it’s not Thursday’s set of commutations that have caught the attention of concerned Americans — it’s those that were quietly given weeks ago to Chinese spies.
X user Nick Sortor posted that “Joe Biden just pardoned multiple Chinese spies and an individual convicted of possessing child p*rnography. WHY?”

A New Jersey police department has sparked concern after it revealed that a drone it sent up to track a mystery aircraft 'easily' evaded their device before disappearing into thin air.
Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy said his force launched its drone after one of his officers saw 50 unmanned aerial vehicles, 'coming off the ocean'.
The officer dialed 911 to alert state police, the FBI and the Coast Guard. The maritime agency then reported seeing spotted 13 drones following their boat, estimating that the devices had a wingspan of eight feet.
Matronardy told NewsNation's Rich McHugh the force put up an 'industrial grade' drone to follow one of the devices,

All too often, Conservative politicians and commentators let the left choose the language applied to various issues. It's time we stop it, tell it like it is, and refuse to adopt the language of the left. This article makes a good start.
