Why Are Dems Appeasing the Cop Who Killed

Incredibly, U.S. Capitol Police captain Michael Byrd, the cop who shot J6 protester Ashli Babbitt, appears to have been extorting the Democrats for favors, including a promotion. Even more incredibly, leading House Democrats have obliged him. Much of this bizarre saga Rep. Barry Lourdermilk (R-GA) has documented in a detailed letter to U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) chief Thomas Manger. What is undeniable is that Byrd shot and killed an unarmed woman of a different race. Undeniable, too, is that no police officer in recent memory has received anything like the treatment proffered to Byrd for a comparable shooting. Indeed, only in the DIE-infested miasma

Because he was under orders to start a violent deadly conflict and threatened to squeal if they threw him under the bus. Expect him to “commit suicide” when a new DOJ takes charge.

Based on his Facebook page (before he scrubbed it post-J6), Michael Leroy Byrd was a rabid BLM-er and anti-Trumper in his posts. Then he went comm silent until his 'victim' interview with Lester Holt. There will be a reckoning, Michael Leroy Byrd. The blood of Ashli Babbit cries for justice.

We know why. If Ashli had not been totally demonized as a far-right MAGA insurrectionist domestic terrorist then it would have been a point in favor of the Trump Insurrection and we can't have that. Michael Leroy Byrd is the ultimate DEI hire who would have been investigated, punished and fired if he had not been of the protected class of ... you know. He is a disgusting coward and will receive justice one day whether it be at the hand of man or the hand of God.

If Byrd had not been a cop who is a black, pro-BLM, anti-Trump activist, he would have faced an immediate charge of second degree murder, for which there is no statute of limitations. Instead, he got a promotion and a lot of payola. Who did THAT? He should have to disgorge his reward and tell the world why he shot an unarmed female military veteran, Ashli Babbitt. He should also have to face murder charges, and all who covered for him and for the government on the J6 matter should find themselves in the dock, trying to defend the indefensible, praying they don't have to go to prison for what they did. They should. And Byrd should go away for murder, which he committed with pride for one second.

Myself and one other well known LDotter spent time that day looking for posted videos. We found a clear shot of Byrd's arm and hand. He, at that time, perhaps still, wore an odd bracelet with white 'bangles' hanging on it. Clearly seen in the images of the shooter's hand, and French cuffs. Looking at other photos of the day quickly located Byrd by the distinctive and odd bracelet and French cuffs. He was known to Jack's "internet sleuths" that same day, IIRC, or perhaps the next day.

IMO race had nothing to do with the shooting. Cowardice did. He was frightened and panicked and shot Ashli Babbitt in fear. He was a DEI who was promoted to Lieutenant over his Peter's Principle qualifications. He was guilty of manslaughter in any case. Again, Nancy Pelosi promoted, protected, and paid him off.

#11, only God and Byrd know what lurks in Byrd's heart of hearts. Did he panic? Was he driven by pent up rage? We don't know--short of what he's already stated. But what Byrd had posted on social media prior to J6 was incriminating and didn't paint a pretty picture of himself.

Justice will come for Byrd soon as it will also come for Lila Morris. How much longer can they hide behind their protectors? The protectors on whom they count may be unwilling to continue doing so or........they may be facing justice themselves. The clock is ticking.

A source with knowledge of the investigation into the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson told Fox News that a person fitting the suspect's description has been taken into custody at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pa. The person has a similar gun to the one used in the shooting last Wednesday, the source added. Police tell Fox News that a person at the McDonald's recognized the individual from the wanted posters of the suspect and then alerted law enforcement. When police arrived, they spotted the person and found a weapon -- believed to be the one used in the murder -- in his pocket, along with a fake ID, according to police.

NEW YORK — A New York City jury will begin weighing whether to convict Marine veteran Daniel Penny of criminally negligent homicide in the death of a man he placed in a chokehold on a subway train, after the jurors said last week they couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict on a more serious charge. The judge agreed to dismiss the top count of manslaughter against Penny on Friday and directed the panel to start deliberating Monday on the lesser charge, which carries a lighter punishment. “Whether that makes any difference or not, I have no idea. But I’m going to direct you to focus your deliberations on count two,” Judge Maxwell Wiley

That is energy expert Robert Bryce’s title for his depressing Substack piece: On Monday, the Biden administration issued new restrictions on the export of key semiconductor equipment and software to China. On Tuesday, China retaliated by banning the export to the US of three strategic elements — antimony, gallium, and germanium — that have multiple military and civilian uses. It also restricted the export of graphite to the US. The two countries are now locked in a trade war over key technologies and the strategic commodities used to fabricate everything from batteries to missile guidance systems. Actually this war has been going on for a while, but only one side has been fighting.

Iran is abandoning its Syrian ally following rapid gains made by Islamist rebel forces, who are now closing in on the capital Damascus. “Iran is starting to evacuate its forces and military personnel because we cannot fight as an advisory and support force if Syria’s army itself does not want to fight,” a prominent advisor to the Iranian regime, Mehdi Rahmati, told the New York Times. “The bottom line,” he said, “is that Iran has realized that it cannot manage the situation in Syria right now with any military operation and this option is off the table.” The unspoken reason Iran is leaving Syria is that Israel smashed Iran's proxy Hezbollah, fatally

No one seems sure who first said it, maybe Joseph Goebbels, but in any case, it’s a tried-and-tested Alinskyite tactic: accuse your enemy of what you’re doing. Barack Obama is a practiced expert at this, and he gave a master class in it on Thursday at his Obama Foundation’s Orwellian-named Democracy Forum. With some notable and revealing difficulty in getting the words out, Obama accused the Republicans of doing everything that the Democrats have been doing for the past few years: rigging elections, weaponizing the justice system, and trying to ensure that they would remain in power on an indefinite basis. Whatever can be said of Barack Obama, the man
