Rod Rosenstein’s General Counsel Now
Pam Bondi’s Senate Handler

Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi is being guided through the Senate confirmation process by a lawyer named Chad Mizelle who was previously the 2017-2018 general counsel to Rod Rosenstein in Main Justice. Within the former position at DOJ Chad Mizelle was the guy who wrote the set of scope memos that authorized the Mueller investigation…. However, I am assured by those watching, it’s no big deal. I’m reminded of a conversation with Eric Dublier Esq, when he said, essentially, “when analyzing motives of DC lawyers, remind yourself they do the thing they are paid to do.” The compass heading on a DC lawyer points directly to his/her bank account.

Nothing good about that. Rosenstein was a Deep State Uniparty backstabber in the first term. Watch out for Bondi.

It didn't take long for Bondi to appear, at least, to be compromised. Why appoint her? Knowing in advance that someone will have to recuse themselves from essential duties of doing the People' business should be a disqualification. Why start out with looming problems?

The suspect in last week's UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting may have suffered or known someone who suffered from chronic pain, according to his Goodreads profile. New York officials on Monday identified Luigi Mangione, 26, as a person of interest in the case. He was detained at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a city about 275 miles from New York City. On December 4, UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was fatally shot in front of a Hilton hotel in midtown Manhattan. As of midafternoon, Mangione had not been charged in Thompson's death. Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., introduced legislation on Wednesday that would federally ban mutilating transgender procedures for children and punish so-called “physicians” who perform such procedures. The legislation would block doctors from being able to prescribe or administer puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, as well as perform mutilating transgender surgeries like mastectomies. The Safeguarding the Overall Protection of Minors (STOP) Act would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to place a minimum $100,000 fine on doctors who do not follow the law.

20 Republican senators are up for re-election in 2026. It is time to shake some of them up because they have forgotten for whom they work. The Republican leadership allowed party senators (the caucus) to vote to impeach Trump in 2021. Seven did. While some of the names in leadership have changed the attitude remains the same as many Republican senators try to block Trump’s appointees to the Cabinet. Given that most Republican senators represent one of the 31 states that went for Trump, that is a big FU to the voters.

Syria is a hot mess. There’s only one face with a genuine smile today, Turkish Leader Recep Erdogan who has been attempting to leverage support for the “rebels” in Syria for a decade. Through the years U.S. policy in Syria essentially armed and supported various factions of al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and eventually Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), whose leader, Abu Mohammed al-Golani, is essentially the Defacto head of the rebels who now control it. What happens next is anyone’s guess. The various elements of Islamic rebellion fall under the political umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood; however, they have yet to show an ability to effectively govern

Within his opening monologue, Mr Levin walks through the historic background of the attacks against President Trump, and by extension the larger American electorate, and how all of that White House triggered weaponization underpins the nervousness of the Obama/Biden administration. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, previously endorsed allowing trans-identifying individuals to serve in the U.S. military, a position military specialists and reports have warned hampers the force’s overall readiness. The recently unearthed revelation stems from comments the GOP senator made during an Aug. 9 interview on PBS’s “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover.” The host asked Ernst, an Army veteran, whether she agrees with Republicans’ sentiment that the military “has become too woke.”Ernst said she doesn’t believe “those [who] serve in uniform” are woke but admitted that “there is civilian leadership of the military that is woke.” She then cited trans-identifying individuals serving in the armed forces

As the kids like to say with a wink and a nod, “if you know, you know.” In the first White House briefing since the Hunter Biden Pardon, White House Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre worked her way through a tangled mess of justifications for why Joe Biden changed his mind and gave a pardon to his son, Hunter. However, within the remarks she relied heavily on a name that apparently has leaned-in to the issue of Preemptive Pardons by the outgoing administration. WATCH (prompted): It is transparently obvious why Jim Clyburn would be seeking a preemptive pardon from Joe Biden.

Anytime the professional leftists lose anything, they immediately become victims. Whether defeated in the battle of ideas (retreat to safe spaces), defeated in the field of pop culture, or even defeated linguistically through debate (words are violence). Whenever the professional left loses, they immediately become victims. It’s what they do. The professional political left, newest version from the Chicago spawn of Dohrn/Ayers, has been waging full combat Lawfare via a weaponized government for the past 16 years. However, Obama/Plouffe were defeated, “their kind” rose again and won the 2024 U.S. Presidential electionWhat we see in this “preemptive pardon” narrative, is a repeat of the victim narrative.

At last, Hunter Biden has his full and unconditional presidential pardon, covering all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed” between the tender ages of 44 and 54. Freshly sober and exculpated, young master Biden is now at liberty to pursue his promising artistic career. I join the readership of The Federalist in well-wishing this walking, talking malum prohibitum. There is no gainsaying that Hunter’s father, President Joe Biden, has for a change acted strictly within the confines of his constitutional authority. Penny, 26, pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. The judge dismissed the second-degree manslaughter charge against Penny on Friday after jurors said they could not come to a unanimous decision. The jury could only consider the negligent homicide charge if Penny was cleared of manslaughter, which is what the dismissal did.

Pope Francis unveiled the annual nativity scene at the Vatican over the weekend - raising some eyebrows in the process. A noticeable addition this year saw the seminal scene's baby Jesus draped in a keffiyeh - a traditional scarf used by Palestinians as a national symbol. Jesus was born into a Jewish family in Bethlehem some 2,000 years ago - and his death triggered the birth of Christianity. A statement from the wheelchair-bound pontiff, moreover, saw him humbly ask onlookers for peace in the Middle East, weeks after he called for an investigation into what he said may be a 'genocide' occurring in the Gaza Strip.

President Joe Biden delivered a short address from the White House on Sunday, claiming credit for the toppling of the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, who was ousted by rebels after a long and brutal reign lasting decades. Biden claimed that a combination of U.S. policies — isolating Assad; tying Russia down in Ukraine; and allowing Israel freedom of action against Iran and its Hezbollah proxy — weakened the regime and left it without defenders. Biden said: Over the past four years, my administration pursued a clear, principled policy towards Syria. First, we made clear from the start that sanctions on Assad would remain in place unless

Exposure to lead in gasoline during childhood resulted in many millions of excess cases of psychiatric disorders over the last 75 years, a new study estimates. Lead was banned from automobile fuel in 1996. The study, published Wednesday in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, looked at its lasting impact in the U.S. by analyzing childhood blood lead levels from 1940 to 2015. According to the findings, the national population experienced an estimated 151 million excess mental health disorders attributable to exposure to lead from car exhaust during children’s early development.

The US launched 'dozens of precision airstrikes' in Syria on Sunday after rebels ousted longtime despotic leader Bashar al-Assad. The strikes were carried out against known ISIS camps and operatives based in Central Syria, according to US Central Command. This ongoing operation's objective was to prevent ISIS from taking advantage of the chaos and reorganizing after their attempt at a state collapsed in 2019, according to the Pentagon. The US military struck 75 targets using war planes, including B-52s, F-15s, and A-10s. So far, there are no indications of civilian life lost. The re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, which suffered extensive fire damage in 2019, occurred on Saturday, and dozens of world leaders were on hand for the festivities. There was one notable absence, though. President Joe Biden was nowhere to be found. Instead, Jill Biden showed up with her daughter. That alone spurred questions given the president has long claimed to be a "devout Catholic." Yet, he couldn't be bothered to show up for a once-in-a-lifetime event that other world leaders flocked to? Of course, while the White House will likely claim a scheduling conflict (there was nothing on the president's schedule for Saturday),
