A newly leaked email from inside ABC News has revealed the rules for the upcoming September 10th presidential debate while calling into question recent framing from the Harris campaign. On Monday, one of Harris' handlers took to social media to claim that Donald Trump was threatening to pull out of the debate because he was "afraid" to have unmuted mics. That followed a Politico report that claimed both campaigns had hit an impasse over the rules. To anyone who had been following this saga, what was happening was clear. Early on, the Harris campaign had repeatedly accused Trump of cowardice and "backing out" of the debate

Comments:

Que Mala is big mad that she can't bring her emotional support governor to the debate as well!!

Based upon what I am reading about the CNN interview, she is toast. I fully expect a replay of the Obama-Romney debate where Obama was pummeled so much he told the moderator that it was time to move on.

Off-script Kamala blows it in the swing states 0 replies

After five weeks of slobbering media coverage akin to the rhetorical version of a hot stone massage, Kamala Harris finally left the bubble that has carried her to record fundraising and competitive poll numbers with Donald Trump in key swing states. And then the bubble burst. The candidacy of the past 40 days as the Democratic nominee has been almost out of an Artificial Intelligence creation. Harris was not allowed to speak to the press, nor was her running mate, Tim Walz. Everything was packaged, scripted and homogenized. When the candidates did speak, they were guided by their new god: a teleprompter. But now they had to take questions from CNN’s Dana Bash.

The University of Michigan’s club fair quickly descended into chaos Wednesday afternoon when police shut down an anti-Israel protest after a day of antics from student activists. The protesters, there to demand that the school divest from all companies that support Israel, identified themselves as members of the TAHRIR Coalition, whose name is an acronym for “Transparency, Accountability, Humanity, Reparations, Investment, and Resistance.” The school’s club fair was disrupted almost immediately by a sit-in of a few dozen anti-Israel demonstrators chanting “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — a slogan that implies the state of Israel must be eliminated.

President Joe Biden left a week long California vacation Monday and headed back to the East Coast. His destination wasn't Washington D.C. or the White House. Instead, he's back in Delaware for an additional two weeks at the beach. His schedule remains blank after receiving the "president's daily brief." [Tweet] The call time for reporters in Rehoboth, where Biden is staying in his beach house, was pushed to 11 am Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre is also missing in action and has no planned briefings on the schedule.

A violent Venezuelan prison gang known as Tren de Aragua has spilled into Aurora, Colorado, despite the fact that the city wanted “no part” in welcoming so-called “asylum seekers” as a result of President Joe Biden’s open border policies. According to a report from the New York Post, Aurora has a population of 390,000 residents. Now, it’s become the base of operations for the gang, which has seized apartment complexes and instigated a crime wave. In February, the Aurora City Council reportedly passed a resolution 7-3 stating that it will not provide resources for illegal immigrants brought into the town from neighboring cities, notably, Denver.

One of the great things about sports is that you can find quirky stories if you pay attention. And a fascinating story emerged on Monday in a baseball game between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox. The Blue Jays and the Red Sox were playing on June 26 when a shower came up, which led the umpires to call the game. At the time, Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was at bat, which meant that, according to baseball rules, he would resume his at-bat when the two teams rescheduled the game. Both teams were able to find the time to schedule the rest of the game on Monday,

Allies of President Joe Biden didn’t want Kamala Harris as vice president in 2020. Democrat donors, party insiders, and the media were calling for her removal from the ticket when Biden’s 2024 campaign began. Just last month a prominent progressive lawmaker admitted that “a lot of” Harris’s Democrat colleagues were openly calling for her removal. It was so bad that the outcry for Kamala to be removed from the campaign was far more prevalent than those demanding the removal of Biden himself, despite the fact that he had clear cognitive and motor issues. Think about that for a minute – The President of the United States was a clear and present danger

Most of us on the outside looking in last week knew the Democrat National Convention (DNC) would be nothing more than a giant choreographed circus. Nothing left to chance, nothing left unscripted. Many people, if they are not attending a political convention as delegates, participate as volunteers. It is a great way to see the process up close and personal: the good, the bad, and the ugly. But one young Democrat volunteer did not come away from her convention experience feeling fired up, energized, or ready to go out and campaign for the candidate of her choice. Instead, she feels the exact opposite.

Ever since he was selected by the Anointed One, Kamala Harris, to be her running mate in the 2024 presidential election, Tim Walz has come in for his share of heat — and he's pretty much had all of it coming. But, you know, it has to sting just a little more when that heat is coming from Minnesotans. The Minnesota State Fair is going on this week, and among all the rides and vendors is the "Never Walz" booth, run by Action 4 Liberty MN, and they are giving the governor a piece of their minds — and drawing crowds while doing it.

Kamala Harris has some big problems to surmount in convincing people to vote for her. She's too afraid, apparently, to enunciate her policies or even to do an interview or a press conference. She's so desperate she's even putting out an ad that is full of former President Donald Trump's wall that she was against. How does she think that any Americans will fall for that? That's an incredible admission of how wrong the Biden-Harris team has been and an acknowledgment that Trump was right. The biggest problem that Harris has in the election is trying to explain to the American people why they should vote for her now

From curbside abortions to gender-neutral prayer rooms, so much insane stuff unfolded at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. One of these abhorrent moments apparently snuck under the radar — until now. It turns out that a top Kamala Harris surrogate bashed the Bill of Rights as "that little piece of paper" and urged Democrats to "reimagine democracy" on Day 1 of the DNC. Kelley Robinson, president of the far-left Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and a prominent supporter of Kamala Harris, made the appalling comments during a daytime session addressing "how defeating Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda rests on the engagement of the LGBTQ+ community." "We can't just worry about protecting democracy.

Did you catch Kamala Harris's first "interview" as the Democratic Party nominee for president? It was pretty much everything you'd expect from an interview conducted by CNN. Lots of softball questions, lots of word salad responses. CNN anchor Dana Bash actually asked some decent questions, but what really struck me about the interview was that Kamala Harris, more often than not, avoided answering most of the questions, and Bash didn't seem to be concerned with getting an actual answer. You knew things were going to be bad when Harris really struggled to give a coherent answer to the cliché question about what she would do on "on day one."

During his joint CNN interview with Vice President Kamala Harris Thursday evening, Minnesota governor Tim Walz brushed aside criticisms that he has misrepresented his military service, telling network host Dana Bash that his “grammar is not always correct” but that his “record speaks for itself.” In the middle of Thursday’s interview, Bash asked Walz to address comments he made in a 2018 campaign clip during which he said the country should restrict ownership of the types of weapons that “I carried in war” – a misleading statement given he deployed to Italy in 2003 but never served in a combat zone. “I spent 25 years in the Army and I hunt,”
