Hundreds of former aides who served under Republican lawmakers endorsed Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, stating that “another four years” of a Trump administration would “hurt real, everyday” Americans.
In a letter that USA Today obtained, a group of more than 200 former aides for former President George W. Bush, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), and former Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) write that they are reuniting and joining with former staffers for former President George H.W. Bush to endorse Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).

Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday on CNN’s “OutFront” that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be in a mental hospital if he were a citizen of a “more humane country.”
Democratic strategist Paul Begala said, “Look, Bobby Kennedy had a parasitic brain-eating worm in his head and the worm died of starvation, okay. So I just think that we ought to give him like a lot of leeway because I think he’s he’s a bit eccentric.” Host Erin Burnett said, “A Trump-Kennedy ticket, do you feel have any difference of opinion here from Paul on what he said about it?

Do you think the DNC went well? I'm not sure the Democrats did. Reading between the lines of what was said and done between all that "joy," I think the Democrats are panicking, and for good reason. They aren't selling themselves well. If you think this is good, I've got sour news for you. This is the kind of thing that spurs Democrats into action. They live by the mantra "by any means necessary," and if the Democrats are the cornered animal they're hinting they are, then they're about to resort to some really brutal tactics to hold onto power.
The signs are all there. Bizarre time change-ups, internal discord,

The 2024 hurricane season is not going as predicted – yet. So far this year, including the three that are spinning Monday, there have been more storms in the Pacific than the Atlantic, and that's a bit of a surprise, forecasters say. In addition, it's been eerily calm in the Atlantic over the past week or so as we approach what's traditionally the busiest time of the season. "It is quiet out there," Colorado State University meteorologist Phil Klotzbach told USA TODAY on Monday. "I certainly wasn't expecting this when we put out our most recent seasonal forecast!" "We haven't had

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted Monday that the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor COVID-19 content and acknowledged it was wrong to stifle The Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
In an explosive letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Zuckerberg wrote that “senior Biden administration officials, including the White House, repeatedly pressured” Meta to “censor” content related to the coronavirus pandemic in 2021.
The content the Biden administration requested that Meta take down included “humor and satire,” according to the Facebook founder, and he said he regrets complying with certain demands.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a letter on Monday that the Biden-Harris administration repeatedly pressured his company — which includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more — to censor content that is protected free speech.
Zuckerberg made the admission in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) this week in which he said that his goal moving forward was to “be neutral and not play a role one way or another” for either any political party or ideology. He said he doesn’t even want the appearance of playing a role and will not be making political contributions.

As Joe Biden disembarked Air Force One in the early hours of Tuesday morning in California last week, he was visibly shaking.
It was approaching 5.30am East Coast time and the president had been awake almost 24 hours.
Walking slowly down the plane's stairs, he struggled to step up into the SUV waiting to take him to the 8,000-acre Santa Barbara ranch where he and his family have just enjoyed a week-long vacation. One of his Secret Service agents moved to shield him from the watching cameras, before giving him a helpful boost into the car. On the tarmac, First Lady Jill Biden watched, visibly concerned.

The Washington Post published an op-ed on Friday calling Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff a “progressive sex symbol.”
"Move over, Ryan Gosling. The modern female fantasy is embodied by the man who might soon become our first First Gentleman," Catherine Rampell wrote in the piece.Rampell added that Emhoff is a “hunk” because he is “smitten with his wife” and her career ambitions and is "secure enough with his own masculinity to sometimes prioritize his wife’s ambitions over his own.”
Rampell brushed off Emhoff’s “previous marital drama,” which includes Emhoff conceding that he had an affair during his first marriage.

Less than two months ago, Donald Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt after 20-year-old Thomas Crooks opened fire at an open-air rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
While Secret Service agents were applauded for bravely swarming the stage to protect Trump, the incident represented one of the worst security failures in American history.
Following the shooting on July 13 - which claimed the life of firefighter Corey Comperatore - Congress set up a bipartisan taskforce to investigate.
As questions mounted, Secret Service chief Kimberly Cheatle was forced to resign.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially lost his U.S. Secret Service (USSS) protection on Monday, just days after his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.
Kennedy's press secretary confirmed the change in a statement to CBS News. Kennedy had gone through a long process to receive USSS protection in the first place, with his initial requests being denied earlier in the cycle.
It was not until the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in July that President Biden ordered that Kennedy receive Secret Service protection as well.

Election officials in the key swing state of Pennsylvania are warning voters that the results of the 2024 presidential race may not be ready on election night in November.
Monday’s Fox News report comes as former President Donald Trump (R) and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), are campaigning against Vice President Kamala Harris (D) and her running mate, radical leftist Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN).The article continued:
To avoid repeated controversy from four years ago, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt — a Republican appointed by Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro in 2023 — is explaining to voters that state law prohibits county boards of elections from

In a move that will surprise no one, Kamala Harris is now pushing for major rule changes at the ABC News debate. That comes after her campaign spent weeks insisting that any deviation from the Biden-negotiated event would represent cowardice on the part of Donald Trump.
According to Politico, Harris wants to do away with the muted mics seen in the CNN debate so that the candidates can have "uncensored" exchanges.
The holdup? Whether or not the candidates’ microphones will be muted when it isn’t their turn to speak.
Back when President JOE BIDEN was still running for reelection, his campaign came to an agreement
