Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday that he was suspending his campaign - with a twist.
Kennedy pushed supporters who live in 10 swing states to back Republican nominee Donald Trump, but said his name would remain on the ballots on traditional red or blue states.
'I would like everyone to know that I am not terminating my campaign, I am simply suspending it,' Kennedy said in Arizona on Friday. In long-winded remarks, Kennedy said he was withdrawing from the race in swing states because, 'I would likely hand the election over to the Democrats, with whom I disagree on the most existential issues.'

“Kamala Harris made me feel like it’s finally morning in America,” Comey said. “Everyone who cares about the rule of law and America’s indispensable role in the world should vote for Harris and Walz.”
“I will,” Comey vowed:

Members of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s extended family called it a “betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear” on Friday after the independent presidential candidate announced that he was endorsing former President Trump.
“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future,” Kerry Kennedy wrote in a statement alongside four of Kennedy’s siblings. “We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear.”
“It is a sad ending to a sad story,” they added.

Country legends The Chicks were heavily panned for an awkwardly off-key performance of the National Anthem at the Democrat National Convention.
The Nashville natives, who created a firestorm of controversy 20 years ago over criticism of George W. Bush and the Iraq War, were a highly-anticipated get for the DNC on its final night.
However, their performance of the Star-Spangled Banner was almost universally slammed, even by fans of the band formerly known as 'The Dixie Chicks' before dropping the d-word in 2020.

With multiple reports confirming speculation that Vice President Kamala Harris will back President Biden’s tax hike plan, reactions have started pouring in from prominent figures in political and economic circles. "It would be devastating to the economy," former CKE Restaurants CEO Andy Puzder said Thursday on "The Evening Edit."
"You're going to give up revenue, you're going to lose companies. We're going to lose business," he continued.
"You need to understand, a 25% increase in unrealized capital gains means, theoretically at least, if your house goes up in price, in value, the government can step in and say: give me the money,”

Democrat Party operative David Axelrod took Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Donald Trump hard.
The former campaign and White House adviser to Barack Obama took to social media to air his grievances over the scion of the premier Democrat political family endorsing the Republican standard bearer.
“Robert F. Kennedy was my political hero,” Axelrod said. “He battled fiercely & eloquently against poverty, injustice and for economic fairness. Sadly RFK Jr, who made a rambling exit from the race today, proves that sometimes an apple DOES fall far from the tree…in this case, down a hill and over a cliff.” (X)

Hunter Biden’s celebrity attorney lashed out that federal prosecutors are trying to “slime” the first son — by trying to introduce evidence that Hunter splurged on strippers and pornography at his upcoming tax trial in Los Angeles.
Mark Geragos argued during a hearing in a Los Angeles federal courtroom that special counsel David Weiss’s effort to introduce evidence of Hunter’s seedy spending while avoiding paying $1.4 million in taxes is nothing more than “character assassination” and shouldn’t be allowed.
“They want to slime him because that is the whole purpose,” Geragos told federal Judge Mark Scarsi.
“It’s actually a form of character assassination,"

Kamala Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff is a “progressive sex symbol,” according to The Washington Post.
The Post has long had a reputation as one of the Democratic Party’s most influential media propagandists. Yet this latest headline on its website takes that impression to the next level.
According to opinion writer Catherine Rampell, Emhoff has earned the title of “progressive sexy symbol” because he is “secure enough with his own masculinity to sometimes prioritize his wife’s ambitions over his own.”
