Forbidden Fruit and the Classroom: The
Huge American Sex-Abuse Scandal That Educators

Every day millions of parents put their children under the care of public school teachers, administrators, and support staff. Their trust, however, is frequently broken by predators in authority in what appears to be the largest ongoing sexual abuse scandal in our nation’s history. Given the roughly 50 million students in U.S. K-12 schools each year, the number of students who have been victims of sexual misconduct by school employees is probably in the millions each decade, according to multiple studies. Such numbers would far exceed the high-profile abuse scandals that rocked the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts.

Why on earth would the Biden administration, “attempt to remove specific questions,” about child sexual abuse in public schools? Seems to me there’s some kind of protection racket afoot that goes behind teacher's union support, as if child sexual abuse was at the bottom of a program to further fray the fabric of the social contract, to weaken the ethical identity of Americans. Times past whenever I had thoughts like this, I always thought that I was becoming a little paranoid, and that kind of conspiracy could never occur. I’ve since changed my mind.

I must not live right. All those years in school and not one teacher ever made a pass at me. Most were absolutely professional even though they knew all us guys were fantasizing about them. Really the only ones who were unprofessional were the ones pushing political and social agendas.

All these sexual situations exploded to what we have today after politicians allowed openly gay men and lesbian women to be hired as public school teachers. Once in place those gay and lesbians started pushing their sexual agendas on school age children until today it is being reported that those deviant sexual situations are out of control.

I have a sister, a teacher, who was 'in love' with a high school girl. She brought the girl to her house on weekends and they slept in the same bed. The school knew. No one did a thing. I call her my pedo sister.

I was in high school in the early '70s. We had a coach get fired because a girl said he came on to her (as we would say now) when all the students in the school knew it was her that came on to him, and he didn't respond. But then we had a female teacher who taught English and 'theater', who was in charge of the one-act-play competition crew/cast (you know what I mean) who every year picked out her 'boy of the year' who was always on the crew or cast of the one-act-play that went to the (several) out-of-town and over-night competitions. Everyone knew it, and the boy (who, btw, I'm sure she always made sure was over 18) definitely didn't consider himself 'abused' or 'molested'. He was kind of the school hero, among the guys, anyway. Then, in my junior year, we had a young female teacher who though she was hot (she kinda was) who always wore short skirts or dresses and, for some reason, put everything she ever needed to pull out in class in the bottom file draw of the file cabinet in her classroom. The file cabinet faced the classroom. So she'd have to bend over in a short skirt with her butt to the classroom to get something out of that file drawer. That heifer knew exactly what she was doing.

It was always angered me that the MSM put the Catholic Church under a microscope and believed any and all accusations against priests, regardless of the facts, but never would turn that same focus to our public schools.

America’s favorite baker, Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop, is back in front of the Colorado supreme court today for yet another round of state-sponsored persecution. The question before the court: Does the First Amendment apply in Colorado, or can the state continue to harass, target, and bully speakers who don’t ascend to the state’s view of cultural issues, in direct contradiction of recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings? That is not hyperbole. The Supreme Court already ruled once that Colorado unconstitutionally targeted Phillips for his religious beliefs. It also ruled a year ago that Colorado law to compel speech violates the First Amendment.

Later in this issue, Gary Saul Morson writes about Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s masterwork The Gulag Archipelago. Much of that book is devoted to the details of the dehumanizing brutality of the Stalinist regime: in which terror had its roots in the brief but brutal reign of Vladimir Lenin. This year marks the centenary of Lenin’s death. In January 1924, the consummate communist, having blighted as many lives as he could in his two years of rule, finally shuffled off his mortal coil, aged fifty-three. “That was young,” you may say. But we reply, “Not nearly young enough.”

That’s not a headline I ever expected to write, even in satire. But the current experiment in Argentina, under the presidency of Javier Milei, is perhaps grounds for hope that at some point when things get so bad, voters return to their senses. (I’m looking at you, California and Minnesota.) He may not succeed, but the attempt is certainly inspiring. Milei gave a speech a few days ago at the Milken Institute’s annual conference. The irrational exuberance of the electric vehicle bubble is reaching its denouement, as legacy automakers are backing off of their previously ambitious EV sales and production goals, proposed new EV manufacturing plants are being suspended, and lithium battery manufacturing operations are laying off workers. There is an almost predictable storyline in how these ventures have played out, which is reminiscent of the dot-com bubble of a quarter-century ago, except that the dot-com bubble wasn’t suffused in eco-virtuousness nor did the companies of its era receive such heavy public subsidization before going bust.

The war rages in the Gaza Strip, northern Israel, Lebanon, Eilat and on the streets of Israel’s cities as Iran’s Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi and Yemeni proxies maintain and escalate their operations against the Jewish state. Unmoved by this state of affairs, Israel’s far left is reinstating the anti-government riots that occurred regularly through the first three-quarters of 2023. (snip)  there are a number of reasons this is happening. But perhaps the main one was revealed by riot leader Ami Dror.  In that communication, Dror told his colleagues that the White House was asking them to reinstate the riots.

The kerfuffle this week at MSNBC because NBC had hired former Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel is important not because of what eventually happened (MSNBC quickly announced McDaniel was banned though she would still appear on NBC), but by what it reveals of the left’s political class. Democrat politicians everywhere, both pretending to be journalists at MSNBC as well as within the leaders of the Democratic Party, complained that it was unacceptable to hire a former Republican Party leader, simply because she had dared express opinions and conclusions they disagreed with.

In part one of this series I outlined one Democratic Party scenario for stealing a Trump election victory, based on the possibility that they might regain control of both Houses of Congress this year due to Republican resignations, and use that power to interfere with the election result as a lame duck Congress. Today I will to outline several of the far more likely tactics the Democratic Party will use in the coming months, before, during, and after the election, to make the first scenario above more doable, should it be necessary due to a Trump victory.

President Biden made the historically rare decision Sunday to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, less than four months after being declared the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee and days after a dismal debate showing. The 81-year-old president’s exit from the race – months before Election Day – comes after a debate performance against former President Donald Trump in which the incumbent appeared infirm and was at times incoherent – alarming Democratic donors and strategists. Biden’s withdrawal is expected to set off a free-for-all for the Democratic nomination for president.

Former President Barack Obama didn’t endorse Kamala Harris — saying Democrats would pick an unnamed “outstanding nominee” in his first statement on President Biden stepping aside from the party’s ticket. “We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” said Obama, 62. “But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.” Some Democrats fear that Harris, the 59-year-old vice president, could further diminish the party’s chances against former President Donald Trump, 78, in the Nov. 5 election.

The Associated Press obtained a copy of the letter sent Thursday to lawmakers. The letter singled out a law signed by Florida Gov. The letter concludes that “such laws create uncertainty and may inhibit” national security efforts. More than anything, this reveals how the Biden administration has destroyed all trust in the government. To catch you up on things, Biden put out two separate tweets.
