A neighbor of Katie Crooks said she moved out of her family home three years ago into an apartment – and that her now notorious brother helped her transfer her belongings.
"The person who helped her, I couldn’t tell if it was a male or a female," the neighbor told the New York Post. "A couple of days later, I asked if it was one of her siblings and she said it was her brother. The one who shot Trump… He was real scrawny."
The German conservative won a second term as European Commission president, despite wavering support in the run-up to the vote. Congratulations have been pouring in from European leaders. Germany's Ursula von der Leyen has been given a second term as European Commission president. She was reelected by the European Parliament with 401 votes in favor, 284 against and 15 abstentions.Von der Leyen needed to get a majority of at least 361 votes in the 720-seat chamber to be reelected. She raised both fists in victory as Parliament President Roberta Metsola read the results to the legislature.

It was reconciliation night Tuesday, day two of the Republican National Convention. Many of the GOP rivals that former President Donald Trump has mercilessly beaten in two Republican Party primaries took to the convention stage to tell American voters why they now love Trump. Democratic strategist James Carville on Thursday criticized the belief of some of former President Donald Trump’s backers that “God is protecting him” after surviving an assassination attempt on Saturday.

Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is reportedly urging President Joe Biden to end his campaign bid, according to ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl.
During an interview on air at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Karl discussed the “intensifying” pressure that has been building against Biden since his poor debate performance against former President Donald Trump in late June. Karl stated that within a private one-on-one meeting Saturday between the Democratic Senate Leader and Biden, Schumer allegedly “made the case” for the president to step aside as the nominee.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told President Biden in a private conversation that polling indicates he can’t beat Donald Trump in the 2024 election, according to a report.
Pelosi also conveyed to Biden, 81, that his continued presidential re-election campaign could destroy Democrats’ chances of winning the House in November, four sources told CNN.
The California congresswoman referred to several polls showing that Trump would beat the incumbent during their private conversation, the report said.

Why did Donald Trump select JD Vance? Obviously, their current policy views are simpatico, but JD Vance was not supportive back in 2016. He was pretty harsh about Donald Trump the candidate. You know who else was? Me. Dig back through my columns and you’ll see. I was never a Never Trumper. I was always going to vote for the GOP nominee, and I did vote for the nominee. But I was a Ted Cruz guy because I didn’t think Donald Trump was actually going to do the things Donald Trump said he was going to do and I said so. In fact, CNN used to have me on
