All rise, and please honor The First Lady of the United States of America, DOCTOR Jill Biden! You may genuflect, bow, curtsy, or kneel in proper homage to the woman who holds no office but is married to the president of the United States of America. She is a person for whom you did not vote but to whom you must pay homage, respect, and, indeed, worship because she married Joey from Scranton. And, it must be added, she now runs the country alongside her crackhead stepson. Please remove your hats and remain standing. In 2022, Jill Biden raised her scepter to Salieri at the U.S. Marine Corps Band

Here's another take on a 10:45 post this morning about the USMC Band's First Lady (sic) Fanfare.

I still think it's a moderized version of "Merry Go Round Broken Down," the theme song for cartoon's Merry Melodies (Bugs Bunny).

Someone needs to check all the papers she has signed and that have become law. Anyone recall that this piece of trash was elected? Her signature and that of her husband's are almost identical. And both sign with j. bidet. This disclosure was made many moons ago, but people just glossed over it. Perhaps a handwriting expert could explain even better, and a lot of 'laws' can be just tossed and put her in prison where she belongs.

Seriously, read the article and then listen to the link to the "F-Troop" tv show theme song - then listen to DOCTOR Jill's fanfare. Somebody in the Marine Band has a wicked sense of humor! Remember, this was about the time the F Joe Biden theme originated.

This is barf. A legend in her own mind. Both she and FJB are out to lunch. They really think we cannot function without them. What a joke. Someone needs to remind her we fought England so we would not have to associate with people like her. FJB Remember the J stands for Joe and Jill. Will be happy to see them finally leave. Go already, the Delaware beach is calling. Tell Joe he won, the four years are over and he is retired. He'll never know.

After the guffaws from the public, the shamefaced Marine Corps Band has already quietly retired Dr. Jill's Fanfare for the Common Democrat. In Victoria Taft's essay you will find video links to both the Fanfare by the MC Band and to the theme for "F Troop." There is more than a slight similarity. It's almost as bad as George Harrison's ripoff of The Chiffons' "He's So Fine" when he released "My Sweet (He's So Fine)" and got successfully sued for over a half a mil.

To be sure, there is much to fear from the Democratic-Industrial Complex. In the ensuing months, it will resort to all manner of tactics on every front to ensure a Progressive win in November. That, of course, is not headline news, but conservatives should also keep in mind that old horror movie trope, "The call is coming from inside the house!" And the Senate. I have to wonder how much of one's soul one must mortgage to go to Washington, D.C., as a Republican, only to get slapped around on a daily basis by Democrats and still be willing to do their bidding or at least lay low

oe Biden's first solo press conference with the White House press corps since last November, originally scheduled at 5:30 p.m. EDT, has been delayed one hour because the NATO meeting started late. But the signs are unmistakable. Unless Biden can shed 20 years and appear to be hale and hearty enough to stay up past 8:00 p.m., he's a goner no matter how badly he wants to stay in the race. The noise has been deafening all day. Donors, Democratic politicians, and ordinary people are all calling for Biden's exit from the race. To make matters worse, his inner circle of advisors has shrunk to just two of his closest aides:

"I can live with Donald Trump winning," is what elected Democrats privately admit to New York Times columnist and Vox cofounder Ezra Klein, in discussions that are so far off the record that Klein's notes have been tucked away in that Indiana Jones warehouse. Klein appeared this week on The Bulwark Podcast with host Tim Miller, where the well-connected operative said, "I've had top Democrats say to me basically something like, 'I don't know why all these Democrats who think Donald Trump is an existential threat to democracy are acting the way they are. But the reason I'm acting the way I am is because I don't think that.'"

In 2022, the Washington Examiner's Becket Adams reported that the Marine Corps Band was instructed to compose an entrance theme for First Lady Jill Biden. The song, Fanfare for the First Lady, was intended to be a counterpoint to the president's Hail to the Chief. But of course, the president is the elected commander in chief, and the First Lady is more of an honorary post. Many of those in the Marine Corps Band said they'd never been asked to do an exclusive First Lady entrance theme before. "Someone in the White House apparently 'had the bright idea, ‘Oh, tell the band that we want music for Jill,'' a source said.

One day before the deadline, California Gov. Gavin Newsom scrapped plans to place on the November 5 ballot a measure to compete with an already qualified proposition to reform Proposition 47. That measure, passed by voters on November 4, 2014, is a legacy item for Kamala Harris, who could be on the ballot for president this November 5. As California’s attorney general in 2014, Harris named a proposition that changed thefts of property valued under $950 from felonies to misdemeanors. Harris called it the “Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” but failed to explain how legalizing crime made schools and neighborhoods safer. She has claimed she took no position

(Snip) In the hail storm of epiphanies — real or imagined — that have been hitting the Democrats since Joe Biden's debate disaster, the realization that First Lady Jill Biden isn't much of a team player seems to be a surprise to many of them. A lot of us here on the Right have known all along that she would be the immovable object when the rest of the party finally admitted that it was time to insist that her husband step aside. Democrats are the most disarrayed they've been in recent memory after President Joe Biden's botched debate performance against former President Donald Trump set off a firestorm of internal chaos over a path forward for their party ahead of November's elections. After the mainstream media feigned sudden surprise that Biden has trouble demonstrating fitness to be commander-in-chief and Democrats called for their party's leader to withdraw from the race, now even the Biden campaign is "quietly" testing Vice President Kamala Harris' strength against Trump, according to The New York Times.

Prior to hosting a hugely successful Republican fundraiser on Monday night — bringing in $1.4 million — Melania strode through Manhattan in a sleeveless, figure-hugging red Valentino sheath and six-inch Louboutin heels. She was alone. But she looked undeniably happy. For a woman who communicates primarily through clothing, Melania projected many things at once: Strength, defiance, fiery determination, and an allegiance to her husband's candidacy. This, despite not having been seen with the former president since their son, Barron, graduated from high school in May.

However, the mistake is likely to accelerate calls among congressional Democrats for the 81-year-old to end his bid for a second term.

From there, he's been rambling and filibustering, attempting to burn enough time so his staff can claim he held his own. The truth is, this was a disaster.

One unfortunate feature of national political campaigns over the last quarter-century has been the "base turnout" model. Rather than try to modulate the message and agenda to appeal to the center, both of the major parties have focused instead on energizing their base. Barack Obama may have been the exception in this century, about which I wrote in my book Going Red, but even that was only in his first presidential election. By 2012, Obama had to rely on his base and his considerable personal approval to skate by in a close re-election effort. Donald Trump also relied on a base-turnout model in both of his presidential elections, as did
