It looks like Joe Biden is refusing to step down from the Democrat presidential ticket. Putting aside the legal issues and deadlines resulting from late ballot changes and the undesirability of Kamala Harris taking over, there are problems with removing Biden by force. Let’s take a look at them:
1. Removing Biden at the convention: The delegates are already pledged to Biden. This would require 300 delegate signatures and would be very messy at best, with Michelle Obama (assuming she is their savior) having to compete with other potential candidates. An alternative plan,

My read of 25,a is that it is one path for removal for inability. However, that does not usurp the original path in the constitution…congress may review either or both on its own initiative.

Dem Party mess is big. No, it's _large_ , Hmmmm... maybe too huge to fix within the "rules".
Solution?
With so much "money on the table":, what are the chances they won't just fix a "losing hand" by tossing the table over?
A nice little emergency (ie: pandemic, war, widespread rioting, etc) would do nicely as an excuse to declare a "National Emergency" and suspend the election until "order and safety could be restored" (indefinitely).
Far fetched you say?
Look at where we are now and ask "How did we get here?".

Dems will take Biden for a ride through Dallas in an open-air limousine. Pause at the grassy knoll. It worked once before.

The main problem with forcing out FJB is that like Marvin the Martian, he will be very angry, very angry indeed. His dog "K-9" will bite, and "Dr." Jill wants four more years of official hospitality at taxpayer expense. One other slight problem with four more years is that the Resident appears--both looks and sounds--to be rapidly declining, with a short expected future. Any day could be his last.

The rationale for booting Kamala and "appointing" Obama as VP is exactly why people hate lawyers. The very idea that using legal tricks to circumvent the constitution in order to appoint an otherwise ineligible candidate as POTUS in order to Save Democracy (tm) highlights the naked lust for power of the left.
In order to preserve democracy, tyranny is needed. I'm sure that after some time, after the tyrants have fixed everything, they will let people enjoy democracy again. It will take a century or two but your 5 times great grandchildren will live in utopia. Just trust them.

All this stuff is just noise, stupidity, wishing and foolishness.
Joe is going nowhere unless they kill him. Don't think that this is entirely out of their planning.

How about the problems of NOT removing this incompetent vegetable from the presidency? Given that he was installed unconstitutionally by a fraudulent election, it's a little late to bring the Constitution and all of these rules to the table. The Constitution seems to only be honored when it benefits the democrats. How about this scenario, We the People remove this clown from office before he gets America involved in a nuclear war with Russia, China or the Norks, thus eliminating all need for a Constitution? Expecting Doctor Jill, Joe or our pusillanimous military to react effectively in the few minutes after the nukes are flying will result in large radioactive mushroom clouds all over America and cities flattened to cinders. How's that for a problem?

I think the Dems will quickly come to the conclusion that they are stuck with Joe. Look for incumbent Dems to back away from Biden to protect their own re-election chances. Kamala knows that her only shot at the oval office is to get rid of Joe, but she doesn't have enough support to pull that off.

At this point, all we can confidently say is that there is a very large problem.
I tend to lean toward the scenarios #3 advances.
