According to White House aides, President Joe Biden only has a six-hour window of optimal functionality. From 10 am to 4 pm, that’s peak mental activity time for the president. After that, things go downhill fast, so I was shocked that Biden would deliver remarks at 7:45 pm tonight on the Supreme Court ruling on the immunity case.Biden threw a tantrum, visibly frustrated that the Supreme Court stopped his politically motivated legal crusade against his political rival. It was one of the most pathetic attempts at deflection in recent memory. We all still think you’re too old and slow, Joe.

George Hamilton has got some competition now. At one of my favorite local seafood restaurants, the day's catch can be prepared fried, broiled, blackened, or bronzed (usually, I prefer the bronzed). I notice that in Vespa's post there is a picture of Robert Downey Jr. in blackface, playing Kirk Lazarus in the hilarious Tropic Thunder. Lazarus says to Ben Stiller's character, "Everybody knows you never go full retard." Well, FJB and his Democrat toadies have gone full retard, and there's no way back from that. By now, just about everyone knows. They weren't supposed to find out, but they did.

THIS is the outcome from his families confab about revitalizing his campaign.."Makeup...we gotta put lipstick on this thing!", then...rather than use the whitehouse pressroom, or the multi $$$Million dollar "Press stage/studio set" built across the street, they had him step into a small, echoing, hallway, with a full rostrum/teleprompter set, TWO microphones and a soundsystem..to "deliver" a team written, committee created, "personal statement", lasting a mere 4minutes with no questions allowed. As to the SC ruling...they stated that there is ABSOLUTE immunity for many things, but ALSO an absolute "Presumption of Immunity" in all other things, The President(former) is above the Law constitutionally, above the Congress, and above the supreme court he IS the TOP power in Govt, co-equal withing certain parameters, but the ONLY individual in Govt. absolute in his powers., nor is he beneath it...Dems have abandoned any Presumption of "Innocence" when it comes to Trump, have weaponized all levels of Govt and media to accuse him, and to try to find ANYTHING to charge him with, no matter how much they have to pretzel existing laws, abandon customs, standards, practices and precedents. Much of the data/documents they have been using to destroy him came from searches and subpoenas that under this ruling fall under the Implied Presumption of Immunity. Lanquage in the ruling even states that while Congress and the courts "May" have certain powers, in certain circumstances, to request/require documents and data..."for legitimate informational purposes" That cannot be used to prosecute, as the President remains immune from such. There is also a couple of lines(I cannot recall the exact wording) that state he CANNOT be lawfully attacked on the basis of "Motive", or Implied Motive.

There is no mystery why China's big banks have run from Russia: These behemoths — the four largest banks in the world ranked by assets are Chinese — know the U.S. can effectively impose a death sentence. The Secretary of the Treasury, for instance, can designate, pursuant to Section 311 of the USA PATRIOT Act, Chinese banks to be of "primary money laundering concern." Designated banks can no longer clear dollar transactions through New York, where every dollar transaction clears. Because the dollar reigns supreme in international transactions,

Thirty miles north of Philadelphia, upscale subdivisions such as Colonial Commons interrupt dairy farms, centuries-old roadside stone houses and the winding Neshaminy Creek that flows between Doylestown and Newtown. Both cities were once rural outposts that have morphed into fashionable commercial, dining and shopping hubs. This is one of the most closely watched areas in U.S. politics. President Joe Biden ran up his numbers in Bucks County, which includes both cities, on the way to flipping Pennsylvania from Republican Donald Trump four years ago, and won among suburban women in the state by a substantial margin.

The 1951 J.D. Salinger novel The Catcher in the Rye has long been one of the most controversial literary tomes, inspiring films and criminal conspiracies. John Lennon’s murderer, Marc David Chapman, carried the book at the murder and continued reading it while Lennon lay bleeding at his feet. He has said that he wished to model his life after the novel's protagonist, Holden Caulfield, identifying with Holden’s misanthropic world view. John Hinckley, after his attack on President Ronald Reagan, was found to have a copy of Rye, but the book did not have anything to do with his psychosis.

Former President Donald Trump’s new proposal to exclude tips from federal taxes is getting strong reviews from some Republican lawmakers, though major questions remain about the impact of the policy and how it would work. What’s certain is that a change in the taxation of tips would affect millions. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates there are 2.24 million waiters and waitresses across the country, with tips making up a large percentage of their income. A look at what Trump’s proposing and the possible political and economic ramifications:

Six years after California legalized marijuana, the bodies keep piling up. Earlier this year, six men were murdered in the Mojave Desert. Four of the men had been burned after being shot with rifles. In 2020, seven people were killed at an illegal pot operation in Riverside County. Violence like this was supposed to disappear after legalization. Legalization advocates argued that making the drug trade legal would end the grip of the cartels. Instead, the legal market has failed, and the cartels are taking over sizable parts of California and the rest of the country. California's legal drug revenues have fallen consistently, as have those in other legal drug states including Colorado,

Twenty years ago, Soares, then a Soros-backed progressive, ran for district attorney as a reformer denouncing the tough Rockefeller drug laws that established mandatory-minimum sentences for narcotics crimes. In office, he’s developed innovative alternatives to incarceration that have helped defendants while protecting public safety. Today, Soares has come under fire from progressives because he keeps telling the truth about how recent, ill-conceived “criminal justice reforms” (like no-bail and Raise the Age) are disasters for the larger community, especially poor and minority communities.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is continuing her quest to raise taxes. She is now trying to convince the moderate Democrats and those who are against tax hikes to pass the progressives' tax hikes. For years, we have heard Democrat politicians criticize corporations that employ millions of people for not paying higher taxes. That may sound like a great idea — if it were realistic. Corporations will never pay their "fair share" in taxes. If Congress ultimately decides to raise the corporate tax, that will be a tax on the consumers because those corporations will raise prices to cover their costs and offset what they would be paying in taxes.
