Democrats have already weaponized the justice system against conservatives and Donald Trump, and no a New York Democratic congressional candidate thinks that all MAGA supporters should be sent to a "re-education camp" following the 2024 election. Paula Collins, the Democrat challenging Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), publicly announced her idea during a public Zoom townhall this week. "Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through, as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and re-educating basically, which, that sounds like a rather, a re-education camp. I don’t think we really want call it that," Collins said.

Four Israelis held hostage by Hamas were freed in a daring raid in central Gaza on Saturday.
Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andri Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, were all rescued, the Israel Defense Forces said after the mission, the BBC reported.
The hostages were rescued during a “complex” operation at two locations in Nuseirat, central Gaza, the IDF said. They are the first rescued since two others were freed during a raid in February.
Israel says that another 130 hostages remain in Gaza, though a high percentage of them could be dead as a result of deprivation from captivity.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) reportedly rose to former President Donald Trump’s vice president shortlist.
According to several reports released this week, Cotton has captured the interest of Trump as he narrows his VP list down ahead of the 2024 election. The New York Times claimed that Cotton has “unexpectedly emerged as a top contender” on Trump’s list. The former president has praised the senator as “a reliable and effective communicator in cable news interviews.”
“The two men fostered a close relationship during their time in Washington. They worked closely on immigration issues and shared an affinity for the conservative populism fueling the Republican Party,” the NYT report read.
There’s just something very sketchy about this public release of information from Judge Merchan in New York City. Merchan doesn’t have an integrity bone and the comment he is bringing attention toward is innocuous and random. However, Merchan could be trying to get Trump to violate the gag order aspect and talk about jurors; thereby making the sentencing worse.
According to information Merchan is providing the lawyers in the Trump case, a comment was made on the court’s FaceBook page indicating one of the jurors said the Trump guilty verdict was predetermined.
