Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) fears that former President Donald Trump will throw her in jail if he wins the election in November.
The Congresswoman voiced her concern to Kara Swisher on her podcast On with Kara Swisher. (Video) “I mean, it sounds nuts, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy threw me in jail,” she said. “He’s out of his mind. I mean, he did his whole first campaign around ‘lock her up.’ This is his motto.”
Ocasio-Cortez emphasized that Trump will “round up people” if elected president.

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed on Sunday that former President Donald Trump wasn’t running a 2024 campaign because he wanted to win — rather, she said he was doing it solely because he saw it as a way to keep himself out of prison.
Psaki made the comments during Sunday’s broadcast of her MSNBC show “Inside with Jen Psaki,” and she argued that President Joe Biden’s recent speech in Normandy, France — commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day — was proof that his values were more aligned with the American people’s values than Trump’s are.

The conventional wisdom concerning vice-presidential picks is that they don’t really matter because voters focus on the top of the ticket in presidential elections. This is ordinarily true, but 2024 is no ordinary election. This time the winner will be the oldest president ever inaugurated, so it’s eminently possible that his vice-president will be called on to finish his term. We know what that means if Biden wins, so Trump’s running mate will receive more than the usual amount of voter scrutiny. Thus, he must not choose another irascible white male or any Florida resident. This eliminates all but one

The Joshua tree. The beloved gnarled California icon—revered by desert aficionados and nature conservationists and considered to be endangered—is nevertheless under assault in a weird twist: environmentalists battling environmentalists.
The tree is held in such high regard by people who love the natural world that supergroup U2 named perhaps their finest album after it, titling their 1987 multi-hit record simply "The Joshua Tree."
But woke is pitted against woke, as the ancient trees now face the chopping block as the crazed "green energy" crowd is poised to destroy the land and thousands of these ancestral growths:

The rapacious Democrats in California are at it again, dreaming up a new tax, this time one that would see car owners charged for every mile they drive.
The scheme to grab even more money from the state’s beleaguered citizenry is not just being “debated,” either. There is already a pilot program in motion, called the 2024 Road Charge Collection Pilot, where car owners install a device into their vehicle that tracks their driving and tallies up a tax on them.
The new way of collecting road taxes will reportedly replace the state’s exorbitant gas taxes. At 51 cents per gallon,

In the wake of newly released video of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) acknowledging she should have asked for a National Guard presence at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the former House Speaker declared Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former “Republicans have always tried to wrap themselves in the flag while they denigrate it.”
Host Nicolle Wallace said, “If this campaign is waged around big things like the flag, which Trump supporters denigrated on the day of the insurrection when they held it upside down, an upside down flag, also on the property, the Virginia property of Supreme Court Justice Alito, also according to journalist Vaughn Hillyard it is

The globalist elites at the World Economic Forum (WEF) are calling on governments to promote fake meat and other alternative proteins in a coordinated effort to change consumers’ behavior. Shocking, I know.
The authors of a white paper entitled “Creating a Vibrant Food Innovation Ecosystem: How Israel Is Advancing Alternative Proteins Across Sectors,” claim that changing humans’ eating habits will require a global effort with governments and corporations working together. Yes, bloated governments and big corporations working together to manipulate and coerce the little people’s behavior is a great idea! And perfectly befitting of fascism, or at least a robust oligarchy!
Fake meat. Fake genders. Fake news. Artificial intelligence.

Perhaps Joe Biden needs to make the Guns N' Roses classic "Sweet Child of Mine" his campaign theme song because "Where do we go now?" is a question he and his handlers appear to be stuck with. That was punctuated on Monday after the president's approval rating hit another all-time low.
According to 538, one of the industry's two most popular poll aggregators, Biden's approval sits at just 37.4 percent. That is not only the lowest of his presidency but also a record low for any president at this point in a re-election campaign since polling began. Biden wanted to make history. Well, he's doing it.

Another pair of polls show Americans are continuing their turn against the radical transgender agenda.
A Pew Research poll finds that a growing majority of voters say that a person’s feelings about his or her “gender” is tied to their biological sex. This conclusion contradicts claims by transgender activists, who insist the government should treat each person’s “gender” feelings as more important than the reality of biological sex. Pew finds that a growing number of voters say that gender is determined at birth and can’t be “chosen” at will.
The poll released last week found that 65 percent

At a truck stop in Nashville, Tennessee, long-haul driver Bruce D. Mendenhall was seated in his cab when a homicide detective approached him.
Police were hunting a serial killer. Weeks earlier, the naked body of a 25-year-old woman, Samantha Winters, had been found in a dumpster.
Winters was wrapped in plastic and duct tape, then shot in the back of the head with a .22 pistol. Now another victim, Sara Nicole Hulbert – also 25 – had been found dead. She, too, was shrouded in plastic and shot in the head.

Beckett Law, a religious freedom advocacy group, has taken up the cause of three Jewish students at UCLA. The students claim that in the wake of the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel, they faced mounting antisemitism, which included barring them from access to areas of the campus. The students are also represented by Clement & Murphy, PLLC.
In the lawsuit, Frankel v. The Regents of the University of California, the plaintiffs claim that pro-Hamas/anti-Israel protesters set up barricades on the Los Angeles campus, effectively creating a "Jewish Exclusion Zone." Beckett Law states that after creating the encampment, protesters not only constructed barriers but also linked arms to prevent Jewish

A public school teacher in New Hampshire was fired for secretly taking a student to obtain an abortion during school hours.
Reportedly, the situation was referenced by New Hampshire Department of Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut in an op-ed in April. In the op-ed, he wrote, “How should the Department respond when… allegedly, an educator lies by calling in sick so they can take a student – without parental knowledge – to get an abortion[?] Should we turn a blind eye?”
