Trump's hush money conviction could be in doubt after a Facebook post claimed jurors were discussing plans to find the ex-president guilty before delivering their verdict.
Judge Juan Merchan sparked speculation of potential mistrial when he sent a letter to the prosecution and defense attorneys about the message that read: 'My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted [heart emoji] Thank you folks for all your had work!!!!'
The user, named Michael Anderson, wrote the post that sparked confusion on a New York Unified Court System's Facebook page.

The entire trial was a farce. Just like the illegal January 6th committee reaching their conclusion long before any evidence was considered. If anybody is at fault, it's Merchan, not the cherry-picked jury.

I'd think that if the person writing the post is in fact a cousin of one of the jurors, that would require a mistrial declaration.

The exchange and Merchan's letter are no surprise. When you run a Kangaroo Court, fully expect the Roos to jump around and cause a raucous. A mistrial means a retrial and extended shite for 45. Merchan and Bragg did their standup routine and stank up the NYC Justice system. Call the mistrial but don't do it again. You got 45's scalp. Don't press your luck on another go.

Defense needs to ask for a mistrial, and they might actually get it.
I think the Dems are desperately looking for a way to make their disastrous failure, which is HELPING Trump, just go away.

In order to get a mistrial, the defense has to prove that the action itself impacted the verdict.
The jury deliberated so quickly, this appears to be like the Supreme Court leak. Someone leaked the verdict after the vote, but prior to giving the verdict to the court. That being said, if I were Trump, I would rather wait for the Appeal/Supreme courts to overturn everything. A mistrial just restarts the process.

It is impossible to believe that Merchan did not know what was up with his hanging “jury…” Censure Merchan, arrest Braggart and disbar “Tish.”

This is simply stage 3 of the lawfare plan. Declare a mistrial and have another trial right before the election to keep President Trump gagged and in court while having to spend millions more on lawyers.

This escape hatch was always part of the plan in case things went sideways.

Merchan would not have sent the letter if he didn’t already know exactly what happened, that it is real and who the juror is. He sent it 8 days after the Fakebook post - plenty of time to investigate and figure out how to use it to his own advantage.

Remind me for how many days did Merchan send the jury home before the deliberations?

the long and short of this will be that .... this character will have been hired by our President to do exactly what he did in order to further manipulate this horrendous piece of "legal" skullduggery

This is all part of the plan to give all the criminal prosecutors and judge an out to prevent their prosecution for misconduct later on.

There is something SO NOT RIGHT about this story and the seemingly cautious way it's been released. Why would the media be walking on eggshells. What did Merchan know and when did he know it? And with whom did he consult before sending letters to the lawyers? And while I'm at it, where's Hillary and why has she been so quiet?
