Given the specific and manipulative nature of Mrs. Sheila Jackson-Lee in the stories of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Grey, Philando Castile, Walter Scott and eventually George Floyd, it is difficult to find resilient grace and appropriate words for prayer.
Factually Ms. Sheila Jackson-Lee was/is one of the most divisive players of the racially toxic anger games in the past dozen years. Her commentary was consistently vitriolic, delivered from serpent tongue and devoid of honest review. That said, as the dark shadows move into receptive position, I am hopeful Ms Jackson-Lee will repent and provide her family peace during her transition.

My grandfather died from pancreatic cancer and I do not wish that on anyone, not even Sheila Jackson Lee. This will be the battle of her life. She needs to resign and concentrate on her health and her family.

I pray she is ready to meet our Maker because virtue signaling isn't the same as real virtue. However much I might detest her politics, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

As a Christian I'm instructed not to gloat or celebrate the misfortune of an enemy. The only prayer I will offer for her is that she takes some serious time to confess and repent for her sins before she makes her final exit from this earth ~ probably stage left.

If she grew up in Houston summers, she’s well acclimated for her next venue

As I posted on another thread earlier today, a dear friend died of pancreatic cancer just 5 weeks after diagnosis. And those five weeks were pure agony for her. The best that I can ask for SJL is that her suffering doesn’t last long.

Note to self: remember Thumper’s mommy’s words. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I’m biting my tongue fiercely while I type this.

She is just a horrible, nasty piece of work. I cannot find one good thing about that harridan and I won't pretend like she'll be a great loss to humankind. Good riddance.

Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence. I don't admire her. But I don't hate her. With her comments about astronomy I found her more amusing than anything. I remember what Hamilton Jordan (Jimmy Carter assistant) said when he had cancer. Any day you wake up is a good day.

I do t want to take a chance if missing Heaven because I hated someone. But I am constantly asking forgiveness because of the things Dems are doing. So I pray she doesn't suffer and asks forgiveness herself for things she's done and said out of hatred. Eternity is a long time.

She's a hateful, mean person. I hope she can sort out her life in time. I have known about 8 people who had pancreatic cancer. All but one died within six months of diagnosis, and my good friend Jim, a very strong guy, held on for 14 months.
Nasty disease and they just don't seem to have much of a decent treatment. There are a few cancers with superb treatments. One family member has a certain cancer which has some chemo for six months, then a pill you take each day. All the tumors shrank to nothing in six weeks, have not come back, very few side effects and healthy at the 3 year mark. The drug is expensive, but amazingly the company providing has given it for free for several years, I presume gathering data from a fairly new treatment.
But, pancreatic cancer is not like that, unfortunately. I hope she gets straight with God.

She had better make peace with her foes and repent her bad deeds. She doesn’t have much time. She won’t be missed.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. This is an early and relatively mild challenge to train us to hold our tongues and act nice. Cause the temptation when its Naci's, Chuckie's, Jimmy Carter's, Sotameyer's, Hitlery's and many other's time, it will be far more difficult.

It would surprise me if she resigned. Almost nothing can drag her type out of office.

From her letter:
"As I pursue my treatments, it is likely that I will be occasionally absent from Congress, but rest assured my office will continue to deliver the vital constituent services that you deserve and expect."
"I am committed to working with our Congressional Leadership including Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the Speaker of House to serve this nation and be present for votes on legislation that is critical for the prosperity and security of the American people. By God's grace, I will be back at full strength soon."
She ain't resigning.
