Dasha Burns of NBC News was at the Trump rally in the Bronx and spoke to black and Latino voters about why they were there and why they supported Trump.
She appeared on one of the network’s morning shows today to report her findings and she seemed surprised that the support for Trump that she witnessed at the event was completely genuine.
She noted that many of the people in attendance were immigrants who are angry about the open border and New York City’s giveaways to illegals.

The Libertarian Party’s national convention was thrown into chaos after delegates clashed heads over former President Donald Trump’s visit on Saturday.
Trump was invited to speak at the party’s national convention on May 25, a decision which the “vast majority” of the Libertarian Party’s members were not thrilled with Bill Redpath, a former national party chairman, told Politico.“The vast majority of Libertarian Party members are not happy with this invitation,” Redpath told the outlet. “There are some people who call Trump the most Libertarian president of our lifetimes. That’s utterly ridiculous.”
Billionaire financier and Republican Party donor Jeff Yass described Trump as having “some libertarian instincts.”
Blackstone Group CEO Steve Schwarzman announced on Friday that he will back Donald Trump in the 2024 election, giving the former president the support of one of the biggest names on Wall Street. Schwarzman, the billionaire co-founder and chair of the world’s largest private equity firm and a GOP megadonor, said in a statement that the “dramatic rise of antisemitism has led me to focus on the consequences of upcoming elections with greater urgency.”[Snip] His decision to endorse Trump comes amid signs that some major donors to the former president are returning to the fold. Trump is also finding fresh support from leaders in the technology and financial industries.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed Thursday that one of two Jordanian nationals who tried to sneak onto a Marine Corps base in Virginia this month had entered the U.S. illegally across the southern border in April.

The Biden administration is crediting strengthened border enforcement and a crackdown by the Mexican government on migrants traveling to the U.S. for a drastic drop in illegal southern border crossings in recent months.
But Republicans argue that the border crisis has not abated. They argue instead that the administration is playing a shell game, using “unlawful mass-parole programs” to send migrants to ports of entry and then letting them into the country “often with little or no vetting.”
According to a report from CBS News, over the first three weeks of May, U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended about 3,700 migrants per day between official
