According to reports, former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who turned independent, is out of the running for Donald Trump’s vice president. Gabbard held a release party for her book, For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind, hosted by Ben Domenech and Meghan McCain, on Thursday. According to Spectator gossip columnist Cockburn, Gabbard was told on Wednesday that she would not be Trump’s VP pick. “Word on the street was that one day prior, Tulsi was informed by President Donald Trump that she would not be chosen as his vice president,” reports Cockburn.

"former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard"
"While a member of Congress, she served as a vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from 2013 to 2016, and resigned to endorse Bernie Sanders' campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination."
No further questions, your honor.

Good person, but too independent: she never played ball with the Democrats; doubt she'd play ball on the ticket. Hope there's a spot for her somewhere.

Trump being upfront and honest. Sounds if she respects that.

Should never have been considered. She's a Dem. A somewhat more sane and patriotic Dem than most, but STILL a Dem, and would NOT be a good fit for a Trump VP.

I have seen her interviewed on many shows and find her intelligent and interesting She has given many insights on why the dems act so crazy. I am not afraid of her but certainly do not think she would be the vp. We need a solid conservative in that corner supporting Trump and cheering on America. She is an independent who knows the tricks of the dems and might be able to impart some good insider advice on their tricks. There might be a spot for her in the administration but not vp. I do not think she is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Good. She endorsed Bernie Sanders (see cartoon at top of home page). That’s all I need to know about her.

OK, that’s fine, but they said she is tied with Byron Donalds for third place? I cannot believe people do not think this guy is the very best choice.
Of course, being minority is of help, but this guy is an alpha male who fights like heck for Trump, and for conservative causes. He would be perfect, and a forceful voice for our country on the world stage.
I sure don’t get Tim Scott at all – – he’s a beta male for sure and I don’t think any of our world leaders would fear him in anyway.
Another great selection would be JD Vance!

Everybody is OUT until one person is IN. I'll spare myself the anticipation and wait for Trump's official announcement. I'm with #9, anyone who has supported Bernie Sanders at any point of their career has questionable or non-existent judgement.
