They did it again. Joe Biden shouts gibberish for over an hour, muttering and shouting incoherent words during the State of the Union. All that was needed in rebuttal was normalcy. But no, Mitch McConnell and Mike Johnson had to deliver a “dramatic acting” rebuttal that was even more cringeworthy than Biden’s shouting. Remember when Casey DeSantis was campaigning in the Melania heels, duck dynasty capris and grizzly mom T-shirt? This is the SOU rebuttal equivalent. It’s horrible. Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is to end her 2024 bid, two sources have confirmed to The Epoch Times. Ms. Haley will make the announcement in a speech around 10 a.m. this morning in Charleston, South Carolina.
Ms. Haley’s announcement will come a day after Super Tuesday—the day consisting of the most primaries in the presidential election cycle—in which former President Donald Trump swept all but one of the races.
Ms. Haley currently has 89 delegates and President Trump has 995.

Who knows? I have no reason to believe that Geroman has any inside sources. Nevertheless, it is worth recalling that recent weeks have seen quite a bit of buzz about billions being diverted from actual war making in Ukraine to … who knows where? Obviously lots has gone to high Ukraine officials, but your imagination is pretty much unlimited when there’s no accountability. Congress has been demanding some accountability and apparently not getting it. (snip)No wonder Mike Johnson figures he can tough this one out.
