RALEIGH, N.C. — Former president Donald Trump endorsed North Carolina Lt. Gov Mark Robinson for governor on Saturday, several months after the former president pledged to do so. At a rally at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the former president also compared Robinson, who is Black, to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the famed civil rights leader. He referred to Robinson as “Martin Luther King on steroids.”
Trump said Robinson wasn’t sure how to respond when Trump compared him to the legendary civil rights leader, telling him: “I think you’re better than Martin Luther King. I think you are Martin Luther King times two.”
“You should like it,” Trump said.
The National Border Patrol Council has savagely mocked President Joe Biden days after he paid a visit to the southern border.
The Council, which is the official union of the U.S. Border Patrol, funded and administered by Border Patrol agents, joked about how the president's itinerary would have been extremely tiring for the 81-year-old.

Oregon has reportedly voted to reverse its hard drug decriminalization because of the overdose epidemic now affecting the state.
In 2020, almost 60 percent of Oregon voters approved Measure 110, which decriminalized the possession of relatively small amounts of hard drugs, including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.
The measure predictably led to Oregon becoming a den of drug addicts and drug overdoses.

Democrat assemblymember Joaquin Arambula (Fresno) recently introduced Assembly Bill 1840 to extend a first-time homebuyer loan program to illegal aliens.
If the bill becomes law, illegal aliens will be eligible for a new program that offers a loan worth 20% of the purchase price of the residential property. There are no monthly payments and no interest accrues on the loan. Rather, the loan is paid back when the borrower refinances or sells the property.
Times Square is evacuated after a grenade was found in the back of Uber as anti-Israel protestors make their way through New York City preventing NYPD from reaching the device.
The explosive device was located in the backseat of the vehicle in Midtown Manhattan on Saturday.
An Uber driver turned to look in the backseat after dropping a passenger off on 42nd Street and 7th Avenue in Times Square and saw the explosive device. The driver notified the police just after 4 pm and NYPD deployed the Emergency Services Unit and the Bomb Squad to the scene.
A new find of underground helium in Minnesota could turn out to be one of the largest in the world, Minneapolis’s WCCO-TV reported Thursday.
The drill site, just outside Babbitt in the northeastern part of the state, took about a month from initially breaking ground to get to a depth of 2,200 feet.
What it found there, Pulsar Helium CEO Thomas Abraham-James called “a dream.” “There was a lot of screaming, a lot of hugging and high fives. It’s nice to know the efforts all worked out and we pulled it off,” Abraham-James told WCCO.

A New York father was left devastated after he realized his son was the victim of the hit and run accident call he was called into work for.
Tyler Beschorner, 29, died after he was struck by a car while walking on Route 363 in Binghamton, New York, on February 17.

A federal judge on Thursday acknowledged Arizona’s interest in keeping its voter rolls free of noncitizens, while simultaneously hampering laws designed to do just that.
“Considering the evidence as a whole, the court concludes that Arizona’s interests in preventing non-citizens from voting and promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide” documentary proof of citizenship, wrote U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton, disagreeing with the attempt by President Joe Biden’s Justice Department to paint Arizona election integrity laws as “discriminatory.”
On Friday’s episode of “CNN Newsroom,” Biden campaign co-chair, Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Texas) not only tried to disconnect the brutal murder of 22-year-old University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley from Joe Biden's intentional illegal alien invasion, but she also insisted that crime rates have gone down in areas where illegals are bused. No, really. Even more laughably, Escobar tried to drag Donald Trump into the issue.

The Georgia House passed a bill Thursday that would make it possible to arrest immigrants on the suspicion that they are residing in the state illegally.
Additionally, HB 1105 would allow local authorities to detain immigrants for deportation should they find they are not legal residents. Should any officer, jailer, or sheriff not report when a detainee does not have proper legal documentation, they could “be subject to the withholding of state funding or state administered federal funding” per the bill. The legislation was drafted by six Republicans and passed 97-74. Only one Democratic member voted for the measure.

The first-ever transgender voting center is opening its doors on Saturday for the California primary election, according to CBS News.
The Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center in Los Angeles County will be available to voters from March 2 to March 5 and while it is open to all Californians, the center is mainly focusing on creating a safe environment for the LGBTQ community to vote in, CBS News reported. Bryan Caplan, professor of economics in George Mason University’s excellent economics department, has a long article out today with the James Martin Center about the attempt to impose a mandatory “Just Societies” course for all students at George Mason starting next fall, and the course is a total ideological DEI wokefest.
