The debt load of the U.S. is growing at a quicker clip in recent months, increasing about $1 trillion nearly every 100 days. The nation’s debt permanently crossed over to $34 trillion on Jan. 4, after briefly crossing the mark on Dec. 29, according to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It reached $33 trillion on Sept. 15, 2023, and $32 trillion on June 15, 2023, hitting this accelerated pace. Before that, the $1 trillion move higher from $31 trillion took about eight months.

A $ billion here, and a $ billion there. Soon it adds up to real money. The more Monopoly Money that is printed and passed out (don't forget all the skimming) adds to our inflation and our eventual dying as a country. I'm sorry but the budget has to be slashed. Just like families no longer having a movie and pizza night the government will have to stop funding some organizations, projects (even ones that seem reasonable on the surface). And FJB just let more college students off the hook to add $ billions. FHB didn't cancel anything. He just shoved that money into the deficit column. We need a bare boned budget. I'm waiting for a complete meltdown of everything. And the funding of the criminal illegal aliens pouring into the country is taking a toll.

What did you think was going to happen??? Every year since 1965 the government has spent more than it has taken in. And yet the fiscally ignorant(deliberately) Congress gets re-elected year in and year out. You cannot blame this solely on our corrupt perverted electeds. A corrupt and perverse people will suffer the consequences of this decadence...

This is not just a Chicken Little ‘the sky is falling story’…. This is a VERY REAL story that the media has refused for decades to fully report on. The hysteria and pushing a narrative of false facts in an attempt to ‘refute’ KNOWN facts about Covid-1984 to create unjustified HYSTERIA show how powerful media collusion with government influence can be. We’ve known this FACT was going to happen when we spend more than we take in.

Any movement to cut spending? Nope, quite the opposite actually. Any movement to boost the economy by creating more businesses and jobs to create more revenue? Nope, quite the opposite actually. All our government does is spend. Not sure Washington should even be called a government anymore. They rob others to enrich themselves and their big-money interests many of whom aren't even Americans.

The government spending and the illiterate parasites in this country living off the taxpayers dime have no freakin clue about what's coming. We're paying hundreds of billions of dollars a month just as interest. In the very near future we will be in Cuba and Venezuela territory. Yes the rino's are bad but you can thank every democrat for this disaster. Wake up already.

Israel boycotted Gaza ceasefire talks in Cairo on Sunday after Hamas rejected its demand for a complete list naming hostages that are still alive, an Israeli newspaper reported. A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo for the talks, billed as a possible final hurdle before an agreement that would halt the fighting for six weeks. But by early evening there was no sign of the Israelis. 'There is no Israeli delegation in Cairo,' Ynet, the online version of Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, quoted Israeli officials as saying. 'Hamas refuses to provide clear answers and therefore there is no reason to dispatch the Israeli delegation.'

America's $34 trillion debt will disrupt the global economy as early as next year if the next president pursues expensive policies, a finance expert has warned. Wharton Business School Professor Joao Gomes has said the public debt mountain marks a 'moment in history' - and it could 'derail the next administration'. 'Toward the latter part of the decade we will have to deal with this,' he told Fortune. 'It could derail the next administration, frankly. 'If they come up with plans for large tax cuts or another big fiscal stimulus, the markets could rebel, interest rates could just spike right there and we would have a crisis in 2025.

If you had told the average person that an anarchist or an airman had set himself on fire to protest Israel’s campaign against Islamic terrorists, you would get two very different reactions. Unsurprisingly the media led with the data point most likely to produce a favorable reaction. And Aaron Bushnell cynically played the same game, wearing (the wrong) uniform to his Hamas suicide attempt rather than the Antifa red in which he had been previously photographed. The Washington Post gets around to admitting that Bushnell was an “anarchist”. [SNIP] But the Washington Post then misleadingly suggests he was raised in a Christian cult.
