Normally I shy away from discussing the political kabuki theater of Washington, DC. Especially the political wrestling that defines the U.S. Congress. But the ejection of Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is a big deal and has direct effects on U.S. foreign policy — Ukraine in particular. McCarthy won the right to become Speaker because he was a gifted player of the political game in the House of Representatives. What does that mean? He was good at raising money and passing it along to members of Congress who in turn were obligated to support him. Only one little problem — the Republican Freedom Caucus.

Remember the glory days of the Summer of Love 2020, when the “mostly peaceful” protests to honor the martyrdom of St. Floyd the Recidivist ravaged cities and murdered innocents? His apostles having gotten a little too frisky with the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth, Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot tried to pre-empt them. In a scene reminiscent of medieval battle preparations rather than a slow Tuesday in a 21st-century American city, she raised the river bridges that surround the city’s less feral neighborhoods to prevent the roaming Visigoths from giving Chicago’s dwindling productive class another reason to leave.

So, eight conservatives have successfully ousted Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House and much of the conservative punditry is angry!
What does that tell us?
It tells us that all those RINOs who voted to retain McCarthy are not conservatives. That any member of Congress can and does vote to perpetuate the brutally irresponsible spending of the uniparty that runs the swamp which should be a wake-up call for all Americans. Congress can't stop spending and the Fed can't stop printing money to do it. Modern monetary theory is a joke; printing money backed by nothing is a dangerous way to operate.

Political pundits are stunned at the recent ouster of Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. The removal is the latest public backlash against political establishment politics in the United States implemented by a corrupt intellectual culture. The catalyst to McCarthy’s defeat was certainly the vote for a continuing resolution on the Federal government’s budget activities that remain far beyond constitutional order and the primary driver for the inflationary pains the general public has felt since rapidly escalating federal government spending in spring of 2020.

The judge presiding over the New York civil fraud case against President Donald Trump decided to invite the media cameras into the courtroom, but what became obvious is the camera never lies.
I don’t doubt for a moment that showing Trump at bay motivated Judge Arthur Engoron’s allowing of the media to show the beginning of the proceedings. Trump gave the cameras nothing: no anxious movements and no emotional reactions to feed the media pundits.
Instead, viewers saw the mad dog glare of New York Attorney General Letitia James focused on Trump like a laser.
