Congrats! Gavin Newsom Picks The Perfect Democrat

Is it really that weird that Laphonza Butler, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s pick to replace Diane Feinstein in the Senate, lives in Maryland? Now, incidentally, this isn’t one of those instances where a politician is spending an inordinate amount of time in DC (before leaving office and becoming a lobbyist and making it official). Newsom’s spokesperson confirms that Butler resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is registered to vote in that state. We’re just skipping the part where we pretend senators represent states rather than political parties. So, thank you.

Newsom was actually looking to nominate a Half Black and Half Latino Transgender Abortionist who is a member of the Communist Party but had to settle for Laphonza.

Gavin Newsom has aspirations of becoming President which is a terrifying possibility as long as there are brain dead morons that would vote for this reprobate. I guess we call these people Democrats! Newsom has destroyed California! Astronomical increases in crime, forcing school children to wear masks, forcing the Covid vaccine on people, ordering people to wear masks in public places while he doesn't, suspending in person voting and replacing it with mail in ballots, and homeless zombies wandering around defecating on the sidewalks of major cities. Now Newsom has shown the entire country his true colors by selecting a person that isn't even a resident of California. But it checks all far left liberal boxes. Black- Check Female (questionable)- Check Lesbian- Check Communist-Check Pro Abortion Activist-Check Ugly-Check Open your eyes America, Newsom is a horrible governor and a despicable person.

Gavin really reached far out into Left Field for this one...not even a resident of the state, but she does own a house here! I can just imagine the steam coming out of Auntie Maxine's ears! Her local gal, Rep. Karen Bass got a pass, and poor Barbara Lee doesn't have a pot to pea in. Personally, I'm out a $2 wager. I had the S.F. Mayor London Breed by a nose.

I see logic in this choice. There were many factions looking to get this Senate seat. I think the Gov picked this black Dem fundraiser so as to not alienate the factions, on the promise that she not run for this office in 2024. He can now tell the factions that they are all welcome to run for the open seat in the next election.

#3. I read the name and think of Napoleon Dynamite.. Napoleon’s brother dated a ‘girl’ with same name as appointee.. I can’t understand the legality of a person not living in CA being appointed to Senate.. but these are Democrats, rules don’t apply.

During an interview with Tucker Carlson on X/Twitter, Victor Davis Hanson discusses the volatile 2024 election: VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: It's going to be scary if they win because that means they'll probably take the House, the entire Congress, and there won't be any redress of grievances. But I don't think they will because they don't have any popular support because every single one of Joe Biden's issues -- economy, crime, energy, foreign policy, the border -- he's polling 30-40 percent. The only way they're retaining power is through the legal system and the administrative state and our institutions: media, entertainment, sports, education, K-12 and universities

The U.S. Department of Energy is rolling out a new program to redevelop some of its lands into clean energy hubs – starting with the former nuclear Hanford site in southeast Washington state. Many Energy officials flew in to meet with industry leaders and nearly 100 community members at the Federal Building in Richland in late September to discuss the new plan. "As you saw on the maps as you were coming in there, this is a large contiguous area of land. It is, in fact, 30 square miles," said David Turk, Deputy Secretary of Energy. "That's a big piece of land. That's not something that happens everyday for clean energy

The dynamics of what has fueled recent gridlock on Capitol Hill can be boiled down to numbers. While Democrats retain a slight majority in the Senate, even with the recent passing of Dianne Feinstein of California, House Republicans must contend with a razor-thin 221-213 majority — putting the GOP conference in a precarious position as any major bloc within the party can help pass or scuttle critical pieces of legislation. The House is a sharply partisan body, as opposed to the more deliberative upper chamber, which has a 60-vote threshold to pass most major bills. So House Speaker Kevin McCarthy of California faced a critical challenge on Saturday as he pushed through

For more than two hours on a Sunday afternoon, the Rev. Gustavo Castillo led the Pentecostal congregation he’s been growing in this Minneapolis suburb through prayer, Scriptures, rousing music and sometimes tearful testimonials. But it all may end soon. A sudden procedural change in how the federal government processes green cards for foreign-born religious workers, together with historic highs in numbers of illegal border crossers, means that thousands of clergy like him are losing the ability to remain in this country. “We were right on the edge of becoming permanent residents, and boom, this changed,” Colombia-born Castillo said as his wife rocked their 7-month-old boy, a U.S. citizen by birth.

Wednesday’s debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library may be the most important debate of the 2023 Republican presidential nomination process. It is to the candidates’ advantage that President Trump will be in Michigan addressing auto industry employees amid the United Auto Workers strike. His absence will create a space in which they can talk about the solutions America needs. If Mr. Trump were there, everyone else would be overshadowed — and all news coverage would obsess over him and various reactions to him. As we saw in the first debate, when given a chance to talk about issues and ideas, the candidates are competent and interesting.

Can conservatives still win 4 replies

Conservatives enjoy popular support on the vast majority of current issues. But that does not necessarily translate into winning presidential elections, which is of course the only sure way of enacting conservative political agendas. Yet victory is possible for conservatives, as long as they learn from the past. Take the potpourri of current controversies over illegal immigration, rising crime, fossil-fuel independence, the economy in general, and an array of cultural concerns—from the indoctrination of the dogma of diversity, equity, and inclusion to the fact of transgendered men participating in women’s sports. In these hot-button-issue debates, the conservative side usually wins the support of the American people, at least in opinion polls.
