An IRS special agent was shot and killed during a training exercise on a Phoenix gun range by another agent Thursday, sparking an investigation by the FBI. ABC 15 News broke the story that the shooting and death had occurred outside of Anthem on a range used by multiple law enforcement agencies.
FBI officials released a statement on Thursday evening confirming the death of the agent but did not share further details about what exactly happened on the range.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) also issued a statement that it was investigating a “shooting incident” at the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) Phoenix firing range Thursday afternoon

Hair-raising bodycam footage of a fearless Fargo police officer stopping a would-be mass murderer in the middle of a busy street was released by North Dakota’s Attorney General Drew Wrigley on Thursday, leading many to wonder why they had never heard about the July 14th event that left one officer dead and three people wounded, including two more officers and a fleeing bystander.
Police were responding to a routine car accident when Syrian gunman Mohamad Barakat, 37, opened fire on them in a deadly ambush.
Barakat was allegedly on his way to a Fargo street fair, evidence suggests, with enough explosives in his car to create a national tragedy,

The Republican debate will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin next Wednesday and will be hosted by Fox News.
Trump said he won’t participate in the debates because his poll numbers are “extraordinary.”
“Reagan didn’t do it, and neither did others,” Trump said of his decision to skip the primary debates.

Establishment politicians and mainstream media have fought harder than on any other issue to convince the public that voter fraud is a conspiracy theory. But unconstitutional changes to state election laws, unsupervised ballot drop boxes, voting machine errors, mathematically improbable voter turnout, and other examples of outright voter fraud that were denied a chance to be presented in court between the 2020 election and Biden's inauguration can't simply be chalked up as coincidental. All those things occurring simultaneously make the fraud seem coordinated.
In response to the most recent indictments, Trump's attorneys indicated they finally have a platform to "fully re-litigate every single issue that occurred

Atlanta—For much of the Republican presidential field, Donald Trump is the candidate who must not be named — or at least not criticized too harshly.
Multiple GOP White House contenders took the stage Friday in Atlanta, the city where the former president was most recently indicted and where he must surrender next week on racketeering charges related to the 2020 election. They dealt gingerly with the man they’re trying to catch in the 2024 GOP primary campaign.

Former President Donald J. Trump has finally made a decision on whether or not to attend the first Republican presidential debate, and as many things go these days, not everyone is happy about it.
Although more than a few have expressed their approval of Trump’s reported decision to hold an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in lieu of the highly anticipated GOP primary.
It’s a one-two punch to the former Trump-friendly news network as the interview is reported to take place at the same time the debate will be shown live on Fox from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on August 23rd.

More than 1,000 school districts across the United States have policies openly stating that district personnel can or should keep students’ transgender status hidden from their parents.
This figure includes 18,335 schools and 10,712,558 students, according to the organization Parents Defending Education. (X) The expansion shows the growing reach of advocates for the transgender ideology. They claim that the government must treat each person’s self-described “gender” as more important than their male or female sex.
As Breitbart News previously reported, a recent study strongly suggests that social contagion is a factor in teenagers and young adults identifying as transgender.

The advent of a new presidential campaign season brings with it the usual political- and media-class sentiment: no one wants to go back (to whatever one thinks there is to go back to), everyone wants to move forward. The conceit of progress that has gripped the American psyche for well over a century always demands the next click in the ratchet. It is the sort of perennial existential discontent, questing for the next thing, that is superb for, say, settling a frontier. It is much less salutary when the "next thing" is a new frontier in state power or societal overthrow.

Former Trump "Fixer" Michael Cohen, one of Donald Trump's former most-prominent lawyers, not only had some harsh words to say about his old boss on Wednesday; he also pre-blasted, as it were, voters who'll support Trump in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries.
In a word, Cohen said it would be "stupid" for the GOP to nominate Trump.
Did I mention that Cohen recently announced he's considering running for Congress in New York — as a Democrat? In other words, I suggest that you read every Cohen comment I quote with that caveat. That way, you won't pull out your hair before you get to the end of the article.

Dates have been proposed for former President Donald Trump’s four criminal trials, and they appear to follow a suspicious pattern.
Each of Trump's trials will take place at a crucial point in the GOP primary, guaranteeing it will dominate news coverage of the primary from start to finish.
The trials will likely hamstring Trump’s efforts to campaign, and this could undermine his appeal if voters decide the former president is too bogged down to effectively run for a second term. Given the polling and fundraising boosts which Trump has enjoyed after each indictment, however, the trial dates could also push Trump to victory.

In the United States of America, there are roughly 3,150 counties. Most of them have prosecutors or district attorneys. Each one of these can usually empanel a grand jury. These grand juries can, with rare exceptions, meet in secret to consider indicting anyone at all. There need be no publicity at all, but there usually is. These grand juries can call witnesses and even require Americans to testify for days or even weeks on end on matters that took place years before. The “defendants” in these matters are not allowed to have lawyers, although sometimes they do. They are sometimes kept from their families and colleagues for long periods.

FOX Business Network host Larry Kudlow interviewed President Trump this week and aired the segment on his popular afternoon show.
During the interview, Larry Kudlow broke down the economic numbers of President Trump and Joe Biden after their first 20 months in office.
There is no comparison.
Inflation (CPI) under Joe Biden has skyrocketed to generational highs. (Photo) There is no comparison. Kudlow went on to explain how Joe Biden is telling the American people one thing when the truth is the exact opposite.

Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy shared a list of what he called 10 truths to social media Thursday, with references to faith, gender, and capitalism. Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur who is seeking the Republican nomination, shared the ideals on X, starting with, "God is real" and "There are only two genders" — the latter being a contentious claim by those on the Left.
The list also promotes the importance of fossil fuels, condemns "reverse racism," defends the role of parents in choosing their own children's education, and boasts the U.S. Constitution as the "strongest guarantor of freedoms in history."

A brother and sister who previously served as aides to then-Vice President Biden and have longstanding ties to Hunter Biden could be key witnesses if they were called to testify in the ongoing congressional investigations into the first family's finances due to their intimate knowledge of the inner workings of Hunter's firm and the VP's office. Anne Marie (Person) Muldoon and Francis "Fran" Person, who worked for Joe Biden for nearly a decade dating back to 2006, kept in frequent contact with Hunter Biden and Eric Schwerin, the then-president of Hunter’s now-dissolved investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners, during their Obama-Biden administration roles using their government emails

District Judge Maryellen Noreika has dismissed two outstanding misdemeanor tax charges against Hunter Biden following a request from federal prosecutors, setting the stage for additional charges from newly appointed special counsel David Weiss.
Under the terms of an initial plea deal that later collapsed, Hunter was to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax violations and submit to a pre-trial diversion agreement to avoid a felony gun charge in exchange for broad immunity from future charges.
Noreika challenged the terms of the deal in court last month, noting that the broad immunity prosecutors offered Hunter was unprecedented.

In his New York Times opinion piece titled “The U.S. Reassessment of Netanyahu’s Government Has Begun,” Thomas Friedman wrote that he likes to say of his job that he is “a translator from English to English”: He takes complex things and renders them understandable. … As Friedman explains it, the judicial reform proposed by Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition poses a grave threat to democracy...
If you read Hebrew, you can hear some protesters and their backers in the country’s establishments announcing their intentions more or less explicitly: Democracy is the very thing they are out to prevent.

Ford CEO Jim Farley experienced a common complaint from electric vehicle owners during his cross-country road trip in the automobile maker's electric pickup truck, calling it a "reality check."
"Charging has been pretty challenging," Farley said on X, the social-media website formerly known as Twitter. "It was a really good reality check of the challenges of what our customers go through and the importance of fast charging and what we're going to have to do to improve the charging experience." (X) His comment came during his roundtrip across Route 66 in Ford's latest electrical vehicle venture, the F-150 Lighting. The CEO documented his experience on both X and LinkedIn.

A new report from Military.com has revealed that Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is refusing to reveal the cause of death for 17 base personnel who have passed away this year. How does one base have a death toll of 17 in the span of eight months? Why would the base not want to share information concerning what happened to these individuals and why so many people at one military installation have died?
Since the base is funded with American tax dollars and the people dying are public servants, I think the general public has a right to know what is going on at Tinker Air Force Base, don’t you?

Imagine a young, bright-eyed journalism student, envisioning a future as a crusading force for truth, justice, and holding the powerful accountable. You idolize journalistic giants like Woodward and Bernstein, Upton Sinclair, H. L. Mencken, and Seymour Hersh - reporters who fearlessly exposed corruption and deceit, often putting their careers on the line to do so. Yet, somewhere along the way, this passionate dreamer finds himself in a perplexing situation: that he is now part of the mainstream political reporting machinery, promoting narratives designed not to expose the truth, but to obfuscate and deceive.
So, how do these once-aspiring journalistic heroes live with themselves?

Poor Fani. Her moment of glory will be a short one. Lawyers tell us that Fani’s case against President Trump is likely to be moved to a federal court -- because it is directed at federal officials and because the accusations are very similar to those made by Jack Smith in the January 6th indictments.
In the end, however, Fani may be happy to let the feds conduct the trial because some of the 161 “Acts of Racketeering” (ACTs) in the indictment involve dangerous criminals doing dangerous things. For example, here is ACT 6 (in its entirety):

“They came with a search warrant," softly spoke Samuel B. Fisher, a mild-mannered cattle farmer operating a 100-acre farm tucked away in Virginia's heartland. Fisher's bread-and-butter, Golden Valley Farms, carves out the scenic countryside that's a hop, skip, and a jump away from historic Farmville, a postcard-perfect small Southern town with classical Main Street charm. The father of five had graciously invited us down to his idyllic pasture to rehash the whirlwind of unforeseen events that unfolded over the cruel summer. It was a tumultuous time on the Fisher farm, an upheaval that threatened to upend the man's livelihood.

So, after all of recorded history, it has come to this: an (alleged) astrophysicist claims it is odd that we separate male and female athletes.
In a recent (2022) discussion with science writer and podcaster Michael Shermer, Neil deGrasse Tyson said: “It is a little weird that we split people by male and female in this way. I’m imagining a hundred years from now looking back and saying, ‘Do you know back 100 years ago they split boys and girls and they couldn’t compete?’ And … that’d just be kind of a little weird.”
Really? At the rate we’re going, in 30 years people may not be able

“ Black people are going to vote for Trump in large numbers, mark my words.” Subsequently, we’re about to see how vicious and bigoted the left really is.
Malachi Maxey, a black conservative media personality, took to X (formerly Twitter), and posted this video: As Maxey notes, black people “already feel that it’s a two-tiered justice system” and it’s something they’ve been feeling “for a long time.” Kamala Harris targeting low-level marijuana offenders, many of them black Americans, while simultaneously violating the same laws herself, then laughing about it in retrospect. The Southern Poverty Law Center has its “hate map” of conservative groups that it hopes to marginalize if not kill off entirely. Meanwhile, the feds are looking for vicious, bloodthirsty right-wingers under the bed. But a university survey recently found that the left is more prone to political violence than the right. It’s exactly what we have come to expect from a group that is so sure of its superiority and the importance of its agenda that it’s willing to break an infinite number of eggs so that it can make its authoritarian omelet.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) is on the rise in Texas and nationally as the second-term firebrand congressman and former White House doctor to two presidents is on a fundraising tear this year, and the surge he’s seen in small-dollar donors has some wondering if he’s ready for a statewide run soon.
Jackson, in the second quarter, raised north of a million dollars—more than any other GOP U.S. House member in Texas—and for the whole first half of 2023 the Texas conservative was the number one online fundraiser of any House GOP member not in leadership.
At an average donation of $14.86, with 86,313 small dollar unitemized contributions in the first six months

January 6 political prisoner Ryan Samsel has been held in prison without trial now since January 2021.
During his two-and-a-half years without trial Ryan has been moved around to 17 different facilities. Ryan has been beaten, abused, tortured, and neglected since his arrest in January 2021.
Earlier this week The Gateway Pundit received exclusive photos from Ryan Samsel’s prison cell at the FDC in Philadelphia. The cell was a size of a closet with a light on all of the time. The cell had a thin blue mattress, no sheets or blankets, no clothing, and he was kept here for five months straight.

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” that the Georgia indictment and others are all part of the same “witch hunt.”
Anchor Larry Kudlow said, “We’re here to talk about the economy, what’s gone wrong and how you can fix it, but I do think you should have a chance to talk about this crazy Georgia indictment. I know you gave an interview with Fox Digital. It was a good interview. You said you saw darkness, but you also seem to see some optimism in the potential outcome. I thought we just see what you had to say about that.”

Georgia State Sen. Colton Moore (R) wants Gov. Brian Kemp to declare an emergency session to investigate Fulton County DA Fani Willis. Willis is the one who brought charges against President Donald Trump, including a RICO charge. A grand jury indicted him this week. (Snip) As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis. America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.

I’ve made the point repeatedly that both the D.C. and Georgia indictments of Donald Trump start from a premise that isn’t true--that an attempt to “overturn” an election in and of itself is criminal. The means by which an election is overturned may be criminal, but the end goal is not. With regard to the D.C. indictment, I questioned Where is the crime?(Snip)The core of the alleged crime is disruption of the electoral count, but that took place because of the riot, and Trump has not been indicted (yet) for inciting the riot.
