House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) issued a subpoena to Citibank over allegations that the company provided private information of customers involved in the January 6 Capitol Hill protests to the weaponized Department of Justice. The subpoena came after Jordan declared the bank was not cooperating with the Committee’s requests to turn over crucial documentation.
“The Committee and Select Subcommittee have obtained evidence showing that at least one major financial institution provided the FBI with private financial data without legal process,”

The Biden administration is quietly selling off parts of Donald Trump's border wall to try to thwart Republicans who want to force it to be extended.
A website called GovPlanet, which offers online auctions for military surplus, listed hundreds of unused parts of the southern barrier in recent months.
Since April 81 steel square structural tubes - which would have been used within the wall's 30ft panels - have been sold for a profit of $2million.On Tuesday officials sold over 700 28ft hollow beams in five separate lots for $212 each. Over a dozen are also up for grabs at auctions over the next two Tuesdays.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said he is not “not interested” in being selected as vice president during an interview with Fox News on Saturday.
“You know, Vivek, you are certainly resonating in the polls, there’s no doubt about that,” Neil Cavuto, host of Cavuto Live, told Ramaswamy. “You’re either number two or the third most popular candidate among Republicans. But one thing that’s very clear in a lot of these polls is you’re everyone’s favorite number one choice for number two. In other words, if you don’t make it to be the presidential nominee, more Republicans want you to be the vice presidential nominee than anyone else.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) stated that it is “very, very likely” that the House Judiciary Committee will end up having to hold the FBI and Department of Justice in contempt to get documents related to the agencies pushing for content censorship on social media.
Issa said, “Well, John, we do expect to get the documents. But, quite frankly, we expect to get them after a court battle. It’s very clear that they want to run out the clock, that when you sit — when you are forced to send a subpoena and you get a publicly-available document, it really does say,

On Friday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” co-host Phil Mattingly and CNN International host Julia Chatterley discussed the surge in mortgage rates and said that the skyrocketing mortgage rates have contributed to “the worst affordability crisis in housing that we’ve seen for four decades” that won’t “really change until the Federal Reserve starts to bring rates down, these things ease, people start to sell their homes, and that’s going to take some time” and that comes as rent prices remain high and are one of the stickiest inflation components.
Mattingly stated, “[M]ortgage rates in the United States have soared to their highest level in more than 20 years.

The Biden Administration is taking steps to undermine Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's (R-TX) actions to keep illegal aliens out of the U.S.
The state's top land official called out the Biden Administration's proposed federal protection for two Rio Grande mussel species as a "political" game to stop Abbott from deploying his buoys in the U.S.-Mexico water border. "Unfortunately, the Biden administration is turning the Endangered Species Act into a political tool to push an agenda rather than ensuring true conservation efforts are implemented," Texas General Land Office Commissioner Dawn Buckingham said in a statement.

The bizarre moment a cyclist vented his rage at a pro-Trump political yard sign in North Carolina has been caught on camera.
John Kane, a Raleigh businessman and local Republican political activist, posted home surveillance video of the incident on the social media site X on Friday, offering a $1,000 reward for the perpetrator's identity.
The video shows a road cyclist, fully kitted in helmet and spandex, stopping and weakly kicking the yard sign outside Kane's home on August 12, to no effect.

During an interview with NBC Chicago on Friday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said that while the city is dealing with a “humanitarian crisis” over the migrants that have been sent to the city, “we’re committed to making sure that…the City of Chicago’s a sanctuary city, that we’re going to continue to embrace that.”
NBC Chicago Political Reporter Mary Ann Ahern asked, “Migrants, even more have arrived in the last week. We have aldermen who are concerned. They’re talking about crimes that are being committed. If you’ve walked — as I did yesterday — down State Street, it’s not safe. What’s going on and what are you going to do

Joe Biden on Friday hosted a first-ever trilateral summit with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol at Camp David in Maryland.
After the meeting, Joe Biden held a joint ‘press conference’ with the Japanese Prime Minister and South Korean President.
The ‘press conference’ was a total joke.
Biden mumbled as he read from his notecards, refused to comment on the special counsel investigation into his son Hunter and disrespected Japanese reporters.

Six Obama administration officials used alias email addresses, including then-Vice President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama.
Whether connected to a government network or not, it is unusual for government officials to use an email alias. Not only is it peculiar, it raises questions about why Obama administration officials utilized aliases and whether government secrets were compromised. Below is a list of six U.S officials who used an email alias within the Obama administration:
1) Lisa Jackson, 2013 (Photo) Jackson used the “Richard Windsor” alias as the former EPA Administrator, according to the Washington Post:
