The Decline and Fall of the American Empire

Original Article

Posted By: Magnante, 5/30/2023 8:11:36 AM

A cursory examination of history reveals that the United States is mired in the same process that precipitated the collapse of the great empires of the past. The foibles and failures of human nature and their impact on the rise and fall of empires is amazingly consistent and the end result always inevitable. Can this nation avoid a similar fate? Empires are defined as great military and economic powers encompassing large occupied or controlled land areas. Although they vary greatly, they average around 250 years in duration. The United States will be celebrating its 250th anniversary in 2026.

The very first step in reversing the fall of the US is to win in 2024. That means we MUST unite behind the republican nominee, no matter who that is. We must turn out in numbers so high that the election can't be stolen. We have to win congress. We have to win at the state, county and city levels. And, above all, we have to repent and turn back to G_d. We must stand our ground and stop compromising or being polite to godless heathens.

The demoralization of the country is almost complete. Most people don't know who to believe anymore. They are tired of "politics" all day long and just want to live their lives. The good life is so comfortable; no one wants to risk it especially if they have children. As a people, we have grown too soft to acknowledge the danger we are in and confront it. Pray for those who still have a spine and for the J6 sufferers who only wanted to protest the "steal." Too few of us are willing to risk what happened to them to march in angry masses to put an end to the evil before us.

If history serves, every great culture went down because of perversion, laziness and lack of diligence in protecting their culture. Greece, Rome, Sodom and Gomorrah are examples. We are right behind them.

The destruction is coming primarily from within, Communist criminals who are embedded in the bureaucracies are supporting their Communist friends in the House, Senate and WH in dismantling and crippling the country. FTA "The foibles and failures of human nature and their impact on the rise and fall of empires is amazingly consistent..." Webster's defines 'foible' as a 'minor flaw or shortcoming in character or behavior'. This is nothing of the sort!! Biden has sold his soul to the Devil and the Deep State enemies of our country, for cold hard cash. He his family, Democrats, and some Republicans, are the worst of the worst and disgusting examples of those who have no decency WHATSOEVER! TREASON is what comes to mind as we watch our country being systematically and deliberately destroyed by the worst in America's federal bureaucracy, including most, if not all, of the three-letter federal agencies!

The coming collapse of commercial real estate 3 replies

I’ve telecommuted for over 30 years, which was a choice I made once home computers and the internet enabled me to establish a virtual law office. However, there’s a huge difference between individuals and small offices making lifestyle and economic choices and the lockdown’s brute force transition. (snip) commercial real estate is empty. (snip) Building owners are walking away from mortgages, leaving their empty office towers to the banks, which cannot possibly find tenants for them. The result is that we are looking at a coming commercial real estate collapse that could make 2008’s home real estate recession look like a cheery block party

In 2024 Republicans cannot "out-fraud" the left, cannot "out-ballot-harvest" them, cannot "out-lawfare" them, cannot "out-media" them, cannot "out–contribution mule" them, cannot "out–Justice Department" them...but sure as hell can out-compute them — and that may do it. The left owns the election apparatus — voting equipment, ballot-manufacturing, vagrant habitats, election commissions, media intimidation of judges not to look at election fraud and driving out any lawyer who raises a valid case. Electioneering, by both sides, currently runs 1970s technology. Leftists make good use of obsolete relational tech; Republicans, not so much. In 2024, there is an opportunity to out-compute the left. This week, as accounts of the whistleblowers who blew the lid off the hampered investigations of the President’s crackhead son Hunter were made public, I imagined a writer making a pitch to producers for a dramatic program called Wilmington, a political version, if you will, of Dallas with more than a hint of the Godfather. Clearly, my proposed dramatization covers so much ground, it will have to be serialized. (snip) the story reads like the sleaziest of television series. There’s incest, the president showering with his young daughter per her diary which she left behind in a hotel room; tax cheating and sexual peccadillos -- Hunter

After 5 years of investigation, and a damning amount of publicly available evidence, Hunter Biden got a sweetheart plea deal from the Department of Justice. Hunter Biden is of no consequence to our society. But what it indicates is very significant. Our criminal justice system is broken. There is nothing more fundamental to electioneering than taking a list of registered voters, knocking on their doors, pitching your candidate, handing each a flyer, and getting them all out to vote. This is the building block of election management. It is stunning how absolutely incompetent the Republican Party is performing this fundamental task. Last week, NBC News did a story about how the canvassing for Republican candidates was so bad that it likely lost the Senate elections in Nevada and Georgia, and probably others as well. Our Republican Party pals could not deliver a list of voters that was close to accurate!

We’ve long been critical of Hollywood’s lack of fresh, new ideas and its apparent fascination with rebooting past films or giving us a sequel decades later. Sadly, merely paying homage to the original material is insufficient. Instead, producers opt to incorporate “wokeness,” believing it will be more appealing to modern viewers, but in the process, they end up taking something beloved and turning it into garbage that the masses don’t want to see. The latest example is Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, the prequel series to the 1978 hit film Grease. I’m not sure who wanted this — it’s bad enough to hear any of the original songs

The same “reporters” who snored through more than two years of preposterous claims by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and her predecessor simultaneously woke up Friday. Correspondents from media outlets CNN, CBS, NBC, and even the New York Times aggressively questioned Jean-Pierre about the metastasizing Hunter Biden scandals.
