During his expose regarding the occurrences on January 6 2021, Tucker Carlson covered the curious circumstances surrounding Rap Epps.
Epps was seen on camera inciting Trump supporters to go into the Capitol the night before the Jan. 6 protests. (snip) NBC News reports Epp’s lawyer Michael Teter sent a ease-and-desist notice to Tucker Carlson and Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar demanding a retraction and apology from Carlson relating to Epps.
In the notice, Teter wrote that the Fox News host “persists with his assault on the truth” by pushing “fanciful notions” regarding Epps’s involvement in the Capitol attack that were “demonstrably false.”

Epps is dirty. Teter is employing an old lawyer trick: attempt to deflect with a lot of noise but with no substance.
Yeah, discovery phase will be awesome.

I'd like to know how someone inciting the mob gets a pass in spite of video clearly showing what he did, when people who just strolled into the Capital building through doors opened by the Capital Police are still languishing in jail, being held without bail.

OK, this should open a much broader discussion than just Ray and Tucker, how can it not?

Mr. Epps may want to think twice about this - as is the case with most of the counter-suits by the Demoncrats, they cannot allow discovery to happen.. they can’t hide everything…

So I guess we are just supposed to un-see that video of Mr. Epps on the Capitol grounds both the evening prior and that day, telling everyone to move to the Capitol. I saw the video soon after it happened, didn't need what Tucker was showing.

Schedule and publicize another DC "protest." If Epps shows up, cap him.

The fact that Epps was identified from day one and has not been arrested like hundreds of others at the protest produces a smell of fish not unlike that found in any large northeastern harbor. The people around him on January 20th smelled it clearly. The man is dirty and probably FBI or one of their many informants.

Epps lied to congress he said he had left the rally at a time the video clearly shows he was still there.
Tucker need to tell his lawyers to pound sand. Take me to court. Maybe we can discover where Epps gets his money.

Epps is a criminal, should be in prison. He is afraid that the truth will out him as the leader of this whole fake insurrection fraid, run by the FBI.

The last paragraph is wishful thinking. The drones in the GOP will do NOTHING to fight back because the so-called GOP "leadership" is either spineless or corrupt or both.
Furthermore, fighting the Democrats might be seen as helping the obvious leading candidate in the GOP Presidential race. and, sadly, for too many the in the permanent GOP establishment the people's choice is not THEIR choice because he is nearly as much a threat to their rice bowls as he is to the Democrats.

They are frightened, this is because the facts are getting out, the story is "too close", so the lawyers start throwing down letters and try to get the truth derailed.
Epps is guilty as hell, should be in prison.

Epps' attorney is currently the director of 65 Project, which among other progressive activities targets 2020 "election deniers." According to its website (https://www.influencewatch.org/organization/65-project/), "the name 65 Project refers to the number of lawsuits filed by supporters of President Donald Trump to overturn the 2020 presidential election...Teter was a litigation associate with Perkins Coie, a law firm with close ties to the Democratic National Committee. He worked as the Wisconsin state field director for the presidential campaign of John Kerry (D-MA) and managed the Senatorial campaign of former Sen. Herb Kohl (D-WI). Early in his career, Teter served as the deputy finance director of the California Democratic Party."

Today's corruption leaves us breathless as its agents insist that we cannot believe our lying eyes. In any disagreement there is a truth. The WRONG (corrupt) side will always threaten and cajole to try to make you see their lies as the truth.

#22 just explained #17's comment in great detail.
Doubtful, Ray Epps just happens to know this well-connected lawyer with that background.
None of it looks to be by accident, when you start looking at all the layers and pieces.
They used this whole thing, it seems, to use the emergency power to confirm the election, instead of using the Constitutional process. Likely to avoid the challenges, which Democrats have done in most elections, of electors in a number of states.

Excuse the second post. From the video evidence, Epps appears to be an instigator, yet neither the FBI or the congressional Democrats were interested in him. His attorney’s career has been closely associated the the Democratic Party and its candidates. If Epps had been a protester instead of a provocateur, do you think Michael Teter would be representing him? Why do the Democrats care about some “nobody” named Ray Epps? Why do they want Tucker Carlson to drop his investigation? The answer is they are well aware of Epps and his role on January 6. Godspeed, Tucker Carlson.

Ray Epps has a lot of nerve I will give him that. Maybe the fact he has scampered from any kind of responsibility for his evil behavior is why. He has Clintonitis really bad. They haven't been touched yet either. Not on Earth anyway.

If anyone was fomenting insurrection, it was Ray Epps.
He should be prosecuted, but won't be while there are many incarcerated for petty charges. The perceived 'crime' certainly DOES NOT fit the 'punishement' they have been given.
