Attorney General Merrick Garland shared on Tuesday his expectations for when a report from John Durham‘s special counsel investigation will be completed, and it doesn’t appear to be that far off in the future.
The rare update on Durham’s inquiry into potential misconduct in the Trump-Russia probe came during testimony before a Senate committee. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) asked Garland about why former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann, who was found not guilty of lying to the FBI in a blow to Durham’s investigation, apparently had a badge to get into the bureau’s headquarters in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Yawn. He got one guilty plea. And I've had parking tickets with a more severe punishment.

I remember reading (sometime in the long distant past) optimistic articles about Durham, saying he was taking so long because he was soooo good that he took time to really dig in and make an airtight case. Now, many years later, it's about to end, not with a bang, but a whimper. I wonder where he will retire to. Hawaii, maybe? The rich and powerful will quietly show him their gratitude and make sure he's well taken care of, all under the table, of course. But he's probably set for life.

Good grief. Lucy has yanked that football away so many times shes got shoulder problems. There will be no report of any substance, and even if there is, the AG will bury it. The fix was in from day one. Quit with the stupid teasers. Nobody is falling for it anymore.

Let me reiterate for the umpteenth time: Durham and Barr are "Deep State" hacks that merely put on a show to placate the masses and stifle protest as our Government and way of life were stolen from us by Usurpers of the communist party. God damn their evil souls to the Hell they so richly deserve! As an aside, for those whose do not know, Robert Mueller, the criminal rogue FBI agent who worked for Whitey Bulger of the Irish Mafia in Boston, is life long best buddies with Bill Barr, The very same Bill Barr who appointed Mueller to entrap and persecute Donald Trump!

Wow. I thought Durham just kind of faded away, much like Patrick Fitzgerald, investigating the Valarie Plame affair, without filing a final report.

"Soon" is the new synonym for "not in our lifetime" in the democrat socialist lexicon. Like how John Fetterman is going to start attending to his Senate duties "soon."

If a report is ever issued, it will be a big nothing-burger.

Unfortunately when you have an Atty General who is as much a criminal as the rest of the politicians in DC there is no Justice to be had. Durham is an honest man who is being slowly drowned by the swamp creatures that live in the cesspool that is now our less than functioning government with a demented leader at the head of a braindead mob of bureaucrats.

The report will say there were some mistakes and violations of procedure and policies---but nothing that would rise to a criminal act that could be successfully prosecuted in a court of law.

So, Durham has gathered together all the evidence of the massive criminal, treasonous cabal working against a sitting President......and burned it, and will report....."Minor errors in procedure were found".
Durham was a fraud from the beginning....HE was the BIG coverup of the biggest criminal conspiracy in our history.

An expensive, long-running nothing burger. Low expectations of this special counsel have been met. Work that could be done in 6 months was stretched to 3 years soaking up millions of dollars in the process.

I wish more people would read what wise voices like #8 and #21 say because it has been obvious for so long now. Republicans age 55 and older have watched the game for too long. Gowdy’s bluster was always gonna result in finally holding evil incompetent Hillary responsible and accountable for Benghazi too.
