It's Time for Mitch McConnell to Retire

Original Article

Mitch McConnell has fallen at a hotel in Washington and is currently in the hospital. Two questions immediately spring to mind, neither of which have answers at this point: is this the end of the dreary McConnell era of establishment Republican Me-Tooism? And is there some karmic relationship between Mitch’s fall and his throwing Tucker Carlson under the bus and affirming the Left’s bogus Jan. 6 “insurrection” narrative?

Time for Mitch to go to Alcoholics Anonymous and repent his sins and accept Jesus as his savior. Then make manes to family friends and the country.

OK guys, take a deep breath and think. Kentucky has a democrat governor. He gets to appoint a senator to replace McConnell. How is that going to work out?

Like Hell. And let a Dimocrat governor appoint his successor? I don't think so. We have to stop thinking like leftists idiots whose litmus tests of 'my way or the highway' rule the day. So Mitch isn't everything we'd prefer - who cares? Next time the Supreme Court rules against the Dims, praise God that Mitch stopped Obama's appointment of Garland from happening.

He fell. I don't like the guy, he's eighty. He's been in DC for almost sixty years in some beltway capacity, which is waaaaaaay too long. He's owned by China. He's standing in the way. He needs to go for all kinds of reasons. But not because he fell. Because he feels irreplaceable.

Prince Andrew is faced with another major "letdown" as King Charles prepares for his coronation. The Duke of York is said to be "furious" over the possibility that he’ll be banned from wearing his ceremonial roles when the king is crowned on May 6. The 63-year-old, a knight in the Order of the Garter, was expecting to wear his grand regalia, the Mirror recently reported. However, the king is allegedly "torn" over this decision. "The letdown for Charles' younger brother may be even worse than what has been reported,"

In another example of Washington’s inexorable slide into banana republic territory, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) took to the floor of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday to call for the removal of an American journalist. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen an anchor treat the American people, and American democracy, with such disdain,” Schumer said during his seven-minute authoritarian tirade. “And he’s going to come back tonight with another segment. Fox News should tell him not to. Fox News, Rupert Murdoch—tell Mr. Carlson not to run a second segment of lies. You know it’s a lie.”

America’s top medical schools, worried they have too few minority students, are doing something about it. They are lowering academic standards for admission and trying to hide the evidence. Columbia, Harvard, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Mount Sinai, and the University of Pennsylvania have already done so. The list already tops forty, and more are sure to follow. Of course, the universities won’t admit what they are doing – and certainly not why. All they will say is that their new standards add “equity” and “lived experience.” Unfortunately, adding those factors inevitably lessens the weight given to others.

Seizing an opening in their long war against Fox News, mainstream news outlets are blasting out reports that some of the network’s leading stars appear to have knowingly lied about the 2020 election. In blanket coverage that echoes reporting on the invasion of Normandy, they are hammering Fox with one-sided court documents that suggest they deceived their audience by pretending Trump might have won when they knew he had lost. The charge that this episode proves Fox is not a legitimate news outlet is overkill, but if the emails and texts released so far are not just cherry-picked tidbits, the actions of some of its hosts were indefensible.

For more than two years, while they controlled every lever of power in Washington, the Democratic Party and their media allies told a one-sided story about what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. For more than two years, the surveillance footage from the 2021 Capitol riot, aired this week by Tucker Carlson, was kept from the American public by a Democratic Congress so a false narrative became cemented in the public consciousness. For more than two years, footage that could have exonerated Jan. 6 defendants was kept from their legal teams. People are in prison because of that cover-up.

Recently there were some remarkable online videos of a Portland, Oregon good Samaritan confronting shoplifters and forcing them to dump loads of their pilfered goods. More stunning, however, was the sheer outrage -- of the thieves! They pouted. They screamed. They resisted. How dare anyone stop them from stealing anything they wished. The criminals entertained no fear of any consequences for walking out with bags of things that were not theirs. They had no care that mainstreaming their habits would undermine the entire fabric of society.

Pick almost any poll over the past decade and you’ll find that voters always cite the economy as their top issue. Depending on the survey, the economy issue is also often more broadly defined in surveys as “jobs,” and, in the past couple of years, as “inflation.” But, however you look at the issue of the economy, we’re seeing a subtle change in how people process the constant flow of economic data that bombards them every day. They are becoming more educated and more sophisticated on federal fiscal issues and how they impact their own economic futures. More leery of politicians spouting data points that clash with the reality

Kamala Harris's verbal utterances are bizarre, repetitive, and often not completed. (snip) Aphasics may do this to hide the fact that they can literally not hold onto the meaning of their narrative, to carry it to completion. So, they make up an ending to the story and then perhaps flip into a semantically weird ending. Harris often simply repeats her first sentence. This is not planned for a rational purpose, and she often solves her semantic confusion by bursting out in stereotypical laughter, with gestures, to encourage her listeners to think she just did a funny.

Senate Republicans found themselves shaken and disoriented Thursday after finding out their leader Sen.
