That would have the same result as Teddy Roosevelt running as a third party candidate. Taft wasn't much of a president but at least he wasn't Wilson.

If he does, I will probably vote for him. Just voting for the R is as sure a recipe for betrayal as voting for a democrat. We as a country are in this mess because we always voted for the "most conservative who can win". No more. I'm tired of voting for bad people because they are less bad, and wondering why we always end up with bad.

If he did, then be prepared for the next dim President. He would only steal votes away from the Republican nominee, as did Ross Perot who ushered in Jimmy Carter. We only learned decades later that a brain tumor explained Jimmah's incompetence.

Sure, I support and want Trump to be the next President, but he won't win as a third party candidate and will only ensure the Democrats winning the Presidency and most likely the House and Senate. I hope he has the good sense of not doing that.

He'll run as a Republican. Regardless of 3rd, or 4th party, I'll still vote for him. If he loses, I'll still have the satisfaction of knowing that I voted for him. The more the Democrats, the liberal media, and the RINOs hate him, the more I'm compelled to vote for him.

Remember when Jed! Bush was losing out during the 2015 debates? As he moved closer to the edge of the stage and Trump stayed in the center, Bush claimed, "Doesn't matter." What that was shorthand for this article makes clear: The GOP gives Republican voters a “non-choice” between candidates who have already been selected for the nomination. And Trump isn't one of them.

Before that happens he has other challenges ahead. I fully expect an indictment out of NY state for some "fraud" or other. And then the moment he leaves Florida he is fair game for arrest and a perp walk for NY authorities. His family is apparently in no mood for another run. Many of his associates are breaking away. He's left with his Grande MAGA Armee...and they will have a choice to make when the time comes. Many have none in mind. Will Trump be the 21st century Ross Perot? No rump 3rd party ever caused the election of a superior candidate, unless Clinton and Wilson are your idea of superior.

If the voters of this country haven't learned by now what eight years of demoslut rule would do to this country if the demosluts win in 2024 after what we've seen from the demolsuts over the last two years, then there will be no United States. Not only will the world be a more dangerous place, but civil unrest unlike anything this country has seen since the Civil War will take place. There are too many people who are not happy with the direction this country is taking and the increasing notion that the elections are rigged. No third-party candidate can win a national election. Look how Clinton won when a third party candidate ran in 1992. It split the Republican vote and the demoslut corruption train was unleased. We're still riding that train, and there are too many Republicans that are on board with it. Trump has been the only person to at least try and slow it down.

All the comments about how a vote for a third-party Trump would ensure a dem president make me laugh. What do you think happened in 2020? Do you still think your conservative vote matters in any way, shape or form? If Trump goes third party, which I hope he does, I will vote for him, and happily stick it to the Republicans who have been sticking it to the rest of us for decades. Ukraine says around 400 Russian soldiers have died in a missile attack on the occupied Donetsk region. Russian officials have contested the figure, admitting to only 63 of their troops being killed in the blast. Neither claim has been verified. The attack hit a building in the city of Makiivka, where Russian forces were thought to be stationed. Meanwhile in Kyiv, air raids sounded on Sunday night, as the latest wave of strikes from Russia continued. In a statement on Monday, Russia's defence ministry said Ukrainian forces fired six rockets using the US-made Himars rocket system at a building housing Russian troops. Two of them were shot down, it added.

Why did Republicans underperform during the 2022 mid-terms? That question has become a near-constant point of contention on the right. Was it a candidate quality issue? I’d argue that was certainly the case in several high-profile races, but that’s obviously not the only thing that plagued the GOP. There was also a lack of coherent messaging from leadership, and in many important races, Democrats were simply able to outspend their opponents by large margins. The RNC’s inability to harvest votes and bank early votes didn’t help either. Donald Trump is looking elsewhere for an explanation, though. In an eyebrow-raising rant on Sunday, he appeared to blame pro-lifers for GOP woes.

Just hours before the controversial legal overhaul known as the SAFE-T Act was set to take effect in Illinois, the state’s supreme court postponed the bill’s abolition of the cash-bail system. The SAFE-T Act, set to take effect on January 1, would eliminate the cash-bail system through a provision known as the Pretrial Fairness Act. The provision drew bipartisan criticism, including from many law-enforcement officials who deemed the move unconstitutional and a danger to public safety. The Illinois supreme court has not set a date to hear appeals in the case, so it’s unclear when or whether the provision eliminating cash-bail will take effect.

Amidst a wasteland of absolute trash coming out of Hollywood over the last several years, Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone” has become a saving grace for television watchers everywhere. It’s gritty, it’s visually stunning, it’s fun, and most of all, it’s not woke. There aren’t any explicitly leftwing narratives being shoved down the audience’s throat when you watch “Yellowstone” or its equally well-done prequels, “1883” and “1923.” In fact, there’s a rather conservative bent at times throughout the franchise, though Sheridan is loathe to allow his work to be defined along political lines. For example, the latest season of “Yellowstone” has the Duttons converting a rabid environmentalist from her misguided secular religion.

Republicans in the minority on the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee declared Friday that there had been “no legitimate legislative purpose” for the Democratic majority to release Donald Trump’s tax returns. It was the first time Congress had ever obtained and released the federal tax returns of a private individual. Democrats claimed that they needed the returns as they considered future tax legislation. But the former president argued in court — to no avail — that Democrats were overstepping the separation of powers. On Friday, the committee released six years of Trump’s returns, from 2015 through 2020. While they revealed little that was noteworthy, other than some debatable

At long last, after years of baseless speculation and struggle sessions on cable news networks, Donald Trump’s fabled tax returns have been released, and members of the press are bubbling with excitement. In an unprecedented abuse of power, Democrats in the House of Representatives decided to seize a private citizen’s taxes and dump them out into the public for no legitimate reason whatsoever. There was no constitutional oversight role being performed (because again, Trump is not in government), and certainly, there was no legitimate investigative purpose given they had no evidence of wrongdoing related to the work of Congress.

Yesterday I wrote a piece about Scientific American’s rather odd republishing through tweet of an article originally published in 2020. In it, the author argued that the medical establishment and our society as a whole stigmatizes obesity because Black women are the most obese demographic in America. People can be “healthy at any size,” and focusing on obesity as a health problem is racist. Now one day later Time Magazine is promoting an article that argues that exercise has White supremacist roots.
