That’s up to her. So many threw slings and arrows at her. Many were right here. She has three young children. She gave up a thriving business. Let them have their lives.

It was VERY poor form for her to not be at her father's speech. No class. She should have attended with her consort and the kids. Then issued her proclamation. She's a complete self absorbed brat who clearly doesn't care for being anything other than the center of attention. I also believe she doesn't care for her step mother. She's buddies with Chelsea Clinton, that sums it up right there. See Ya! Don't let the door knob hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

Trump is much better served by Lara and Kimberly G. They proudly carry his banner and are terrific when interviewed. I'd imagine there's been too much blowback from Ivanka's circle of inlaws and friends, and she's made the decision to step out of the political battles. Her liberal tendencies are not aligned with her father's, so best to have her gone. I'd think, though, that seeing what the leftists have done to him, his immediate family, and so many close friends/associates, that she'd see the Left for the evil cabal that they are and learn that MAGA is the way to live.

She lost me early in her dad's presidency,. When the media was making a big deal about illegal children being put in cages, instead of saying those pictures were from Obama's presidency, she said yeah, I think that was a wrong thing to do, or something like that. And I actually think she has backed off for her and her family's safety. Which is a wise thing to do.

Not a big deal. Of Reagan's children only Michael fully supported him. Maureen was Republican but quite liberal. The other two tried to undermine him, but didn't succeed in the slightest.

I don’t believe she was ever really in, but her departure is certainly understandable. This third run for President Trump is going to be the hardest one yet and the left will be in berserker mode. They will not even be able to contain themselves and there is always a safety issue when you oppose them in any way. Family is the most important thing and I wish her well for putting her children first.

I dont blame her a bit. Every time I deal with office politics or even speak to a local politician, I feel dirty like I've been eating out of a cat box. Everyone is just so phoney. I cant even imagine what it must be like at the national level. If you spend enough time in prison, the felons start to seem normal. Being in DC must be similar.

She doesn't need the nonsense. She is beautiful, happily married (I assume), a businesswoman, mother, incredibly rich. Who needs it? Oh, and very young. You go girl. This next political season is going to get very ugly and she has no intention of going there, not even for dad. And I don't blame her one bit.

She's probably tired of being dragged before Congress every time something happens that the Dems don't like. If I was her I wouldn't get involved either, but it won't stop the Dems from issuing subpoenas for her to testify.

Warnock, Democrats sue Georgia Republican

A legal battle has broken out between the Warnock campaign and the Georgia secretary of state over the early voting dates leading up to the run-off election on December 6. Democrat incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock is in a heated run-off race with Republican Herschel Walker. A problem has arisen with the dates of the early voting period. As I wrote about on Monday, the day after Thanksgiving is an official state holiday. New election integrity reforms passed in Georgia shortened the timeline for run-off races. The run-off must take place four weeks after the general election. In this case, early voting should start “as soon as possible” but has to begin

Republicans apparently learned very little from the 2020 election which turned voting and vote counting into a chaotic multi-week affair, all to the great advantage of Democrats. After finding their party blown out of the water by early votes and mail-in ballots, both vastly expanded to accommodate the pandemic hysteria, elected GOP leaders seem to have thought to themselves, “Well, better luck next time!”And here we are. In an election year that should have seen major gains for Republicans across the board, the party failed to take the Senate, could still (a week after Election Day) fail to secure the House,

Georgia Democratic senator Raphael Warnock's ex-wife asked a court to bring Warnock in to face questions from her attorneys as part of their contentious child custody battle, according to a court notice filed last week and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The filing is the first sign of movement in the case since the judge in August filed a sealed temporary custody order and shows that the conflict has not been resolved out of court. Warnock's ex-wife, Oulèye Ndoye, has accused him in court filings of neglecting to see his children during his custody days and leaving her financially strapped with unpaid child care expenses.

Election Day finally arrives tomorrow, and most serious political analysts expect the Democrats to lose their majorities in both houses of Congress while incurring significant collateral damage in numerous state and local contests. There is still some uncertainty about the ultimate size of the looming wave, but there is little doubt that it will profoundly alter the political landscape. This inevitably raises the following question: Do the Democrats have the capacity to learn anything from defeat?

What do you do when nobody cares what you are saying? When they even hate the sound of your voice? If you are an attention starved brat–or a Democrat these days–you scream louder and louder and hope that screeching sound will make the crowd turn around and listen. Joe Biden did his share of (metaphorical) screaming last night in what was a repetitive, poorly written, and clearly panicked speech last night. Ed gave his take earlier today, and here I give you my infinitely superior one. (Boss? Boss? It was a joke! Really!) I actually sat down to watch the awful speech–I did it for you, because I sure as

Unless you have obsessively followed the midterm tracking polls in an effort to divine which party will control a majority in the U.S. Senate next year, you have probably never heard of the following people: Erik Gerhardt, Jeremy Kauffman, Chase Oliver, Neil Scott, and Marc Victor. Yet, because all are Libertarian Senate candidates in states where the major party nominees are statistically tied, each has the potential to save a faltering Democrat. Nowhere is that more true than in Georgia.

Usually, the final month of a midterm election is a hectic one for the president of the United States. Barack Obama, for instance, made 22 campaign-related trips in October 2010 in a futile effort to stem losses in his first midterm election — Democrats lost 63 House seats and control of the chamber.President Joe Biden, in comparison, made just eight last month and has little on his schedule for the final week of campaigning. The problem: Next to nobody wants Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris to appear on stage with them. “Of the 14 states with some of the most competitive Senate and governor races,

Look past the topline number on this latest — and presumably final — generic ballot poll from the Wall Street Journal, which may not look terribly spectacular at the moment. An R+2 barely even pops in this field, coming in under the RCP average lead of 2.8 points for the GOP.Keep two other points in mind. Who’s leading in enthusiasm? And what do respondents think about the direction of the country and economy? That, and one other related issue, makes this a fairly significant entry into the midterm red-wave sweepstakes: Voters are giving Republicans a late boost in support just ahead of the midterm elections, as pessimism about the economy

Eleven years ago, Texas Gov. Rick Perry destroyed his bid for the presidency when he said in a debate that he had three examples of something and then could only remember two. That’s all it took — and rightly so. Debates afford voters a rare chance to see politicians under pressure having to think on their feet and respond to unexpected events. I’ve never seen anything like the Pennsylvania Senate debate between John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz on Tuesday night, and I hope never to have to see anything like it ever again. It was horrible. It seemed like Kevin McCarthy had thrown Democrats a lifeline. When the likely future Speaker of the House absentmindedly mused about his conference’s willingness to cut off America’s support for Ukraine’s war effort, Democrats were quick to leverage his disparagement of this popular initiative for all it was worth. But just as Democrats like President Joe Biden began to retail this new line of attack against the GOP, progressives swooped in to pull the rug out from under their own party. Again. In an inexplicably bizarre episode on Monday, 30 House progressives sent a co-signed letter to the White House urging Joe Biden to seek a negotiated settlement with
