House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday she will step down from her leadership role after two decades in the post.
“I will not seek re-election to Democratic leadership in the next Congress,” Pelosi said. The first female speaker added that she will continue to represent the people in San Francisco in the House.
The California lawmaker will relinquish her position as head of the Democratic caucus, which she’s held for 19 years, to make way for a “new generation to lead.”
With her leadership still in high demand in her party, Pelosi will likely help manage her successor’s transition

If my husband had been hit in the head with a hammer and ended up in critical condition, I would stay home and look after him. Theirs must be a marriage of convenience. Her job is more important to her than her family. Hasn't she done enough damage to America!! Just go home, Nancy. You are not wanted or needed any more.

Nancy "Puke" Pelosi has probably told the MSM, in no uncertain terms, to NOT ask questions regarding her jail-bird DUI husband. Her spokesperson will say - Look, Squirrel!

Like Waters, Feinstein, Hillary and more. She has no life outside the spotlight. Unfortunately it has fried their brains. Guessing now she can held accountable for all the damage she’s done to this country and especially the J6 gulag prisoners. There will be a special place for her in the afterlife. (Unless there is true repentance) (Don’t hold your breath)

Pelosi leaves the behind the Congress broken and in disarray while the entire country suffers because of the destructive socialists/dems' policies. America is NOT better off but instead now the entire world is worse off due to current pathetic leadership.

Chances are she will stay until after she and the other elected members of the new House of Representatives are sworn in at the beginning of January, then pass her seat to her daughter with a nod from her relative Gavin Newsom who is the Governor of California. Then she will be free to move to Rome and be able to advise the Pope regarding the progressive political agenda.

She will continue 'servicing' the Congress. And theirs is a marriage of connivance. She wants to be with him about as much as he wants her there with him.

#7, Gavin Newsom is not a relative of Nancy Pelosi or Paul Pelosi, neither by blood nor marriage. Barbara Newsom, Newsom's father's sister, was married to Ron Pelosi, Paul Pelosi's brother. They divorced in 1977. During their marriage Ron Pelosi was Gavin Newsom's uncle by marriage. At no time was Gavin related to Nancy or Paul Pelosi. He is no longer related by marriage to Paul Pelosi's younger brother.
Of course the Newsoms and Pelosis are all part of the tiny group of San Franciscans that form its so-called elite.

She'll still be House Madame until Inauguration Day, though, right? Technically, she's still second in the line of succession until then, and could still somehow weasel her way into the White House. Don't count the miscreant harmless, yet.

1) The fact that she's highly regarded by the party, tells you all you need to know about the dim party, 2) I'm with poster #6, and 3) She's the 1st thieving member of congress that's NOT going to retire to spend more time with her family!

She’s not saying that she’s leaving congress, only that she won’t seek a leadership role. May I suggest that McCarthy gives her a mop and a bucket and assigns her to clean the halls and bathrooms? She would certainly be more useful in that role than she has been for the last 20 years.

The only correction to the headline that needs fixing is to insert the word, “herself” after the word “Serving”. You can bet she won’t do a lick of real work to continue collecting that paycheck.

They are still counting votes in many state. Colorado had a recount and managed to show after all was said and done, their candidate won by one vote. It wouldn’t surprise me if she thinks ther e is a chance he will be speaker by hook or crook. If she really thought she lost. She wouldn’t stick around

Stepping down? The house is now Republican. What a lying witch. She is also 82 years old. At 80 myself I can tell you that I have lost a lot, physically and mentally, and would not be capable of handling an important job. Fortunately, I don’t have Alzheimer’s but I recognize my limitations. Is there not some way to get these foolish old dumbasses to retire?
