On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was overwhelmingly reelected to lead the Republican conference for another two years.
The 37-10 vote—which was conducted behind closed doors—comes after an underwhelming midterm election cycle for Republican Senate candidates that opened McConnell up to a challenge from Florida Senator Rick Scott, the head of the National Republican Senate Committee and a longtime rival of McConnell's who has sought to make inroads into Republican leadership for years.

I guess it is too much to hope that a 'news' organization would publish the slime who hid behind closed doors to keep a corrupt slob in power, but what the uniparty wants, the uniparty gets. BTW, has 'newsweak' ever mentioned the double digit millions of dollars wedding gift good old Mitch received from the Chinese Communist general father of the bride, when good old Mitch got hitched? NO body ever talks about that, in the media, from the unfunny late night entertainment/propagandists and never, ever, from any Republican.

Mitch will have to die from old age before he gets out of power. Those who voted against him will wish they had never been born before he gets done punishing them. At least they stood up and did the right thing. The only ones with courage morals and virtue.

Between McConnell and McCarthy both getting to keep their posts, I’m so disgusted with Republicans that I may never vote again.

So done with the National Republican Party. State and Local only will get any support. At the Federal level they are as corrupt and totalitarian oriented as the Communist Death Democrats. Betrayed once again. No more voting for the lesser of two evils and not one G Damn dime goes to the National Republican Party.
By the way McConnell got campaign (kickbacks) in the Crypto Ukrainian money laundering crimes.
To Hell with these traitors.

As long as McConnel can get his paws on RNC money, I will give directly to the candidates of my choice in the Party. What he did in Alaska and other places was deplorable.

If you can come up with $363 million to spend on Senate races like Mitch did, you can be the Senate caucus leader, too. Mitch doesn't need the perpetually "broke" RNC to take care of his business. He doesn't need your $50 checks, either. You want to play with the big boys and girls? Show them the money six figures at a time. Otherwise it's chump change.

Benedict Turtle has cause more destruction of the Party than any Demonrat Socialist Marxist-- he is like a termite the destroys the foundation and walls like a termite until the Nation all falls down
He and McPain are/were detrimental to the Republic. Their lust to control everything is only surpassed by their lust for corruption, money and power.

I will send these 10 money if McConnell tries to freeze them out. I'll even hold my nose over Graham, whom I don't like. But the Republican Committees and PACs?
Not a thin, corroded penny. And everyone who voted for the traitorous turtle is on my s41t list.

This really is a slap in the face. This old man is an example of every crooked and corrupt, money grubbing senator you have ever seen portrayed in a movie. He has zero loyalty to his country and all that motivates him is his personal power and greed. He is the antithesis of the citizen legislator that the Founders envisioned for this country.
I think it is high time that the people of this country let these arrogant elites know exactly what we think of them. Every time they show their faces in public, they should be peacefully confronted by people who are tired of their corruption, political shenanigans that cost us elections, and abuse of power which they use as a cudgel against anyone who dares cross them. If this actually is a government of, by and for we the people, we should make our voices heard other than just at the ballot box. We must hold these politicians accountable for the decisions they make. I would like to see people with signs peacefully protesting their abject failure and ongoing corruption. They make the worst decisions on our behalf and suffer no consequences. It’s time that stopped. We have to show our displeasure. They must feel the heat of our wrath. Right now as it stands they get away scot free and suffer zero repercussions from their betrayal. It is almost impossible to get these career charlatans out of office. Therefore, let’s make it as uncomfortable as possible. No bowing and scraping. No deference. No respect for these men who revile us. We must begin to confront them. If their colleagues will not hold them accountable, the American people will. Doing nothing has enabled them. They believe they are untouchable and far above the great unwashed masses. They need a reality check. No one deserves it more.

Mitch's leadership is beginning to crumble. The word is out that he will sacrifice the republican party for his own power. It is now time for the people of Kentucky to replace this disgusting piece of dirt when he is up for reelection.

Since the midterm fiasco which I have said I'm old and now have one election to look forward to in 2024. We can't keep saying we'll show them in the next election. Now, I realize that I stand in line to cast my vote only to have it cancelled by ten, hundred fraud ballots in drop boxes with dead people's names on them. In the next two years if nothing to fix the cheating by democrats I'm not voting. Mitch McDougal Duck is the problem too and he wins again this dog will chase its tail forever. Goodbye government I'll have to remember better times there will be no more.

Between Mitch and Kevin, why vote Republican if you care about the Constitution and your country? More money for Ukraine, nothing to be down about the border (and when they had Trump in the WH and controlled Congress - they did nothing), etc. ad nauseum. The Rs in Congress, with a few exceptions like my current rep, Bob Good, don't care about We the People. I presume he hasn't been bought off, but the rest of 'em - yeah, bought and paid for by the CCP, Zelensky, etc.

You can only get older and wiser if you stop repeating your mistakes. 37-10 proves they are doing exactly what they want to do, which really has nothing to do with you. Their corruption has made them rich and powerful. More Senators want to join them than want to end their corruption. The system is broken and they couldn't be happier.

Apparently the 37 U.S. Senators don't care what the American Republicans think or want when they elected Cocaine Mitch. Sooo we freedom loving Americans haven't suffered enough. McConnell worked hard to keep the MAGA candidates from winning by refusing to send them money. Blake Masters in AZ said McConnell cut off sending money to his campaign.
Mitch McConnell, what an evil, nasty, vindictive, hateful, mean little man, bought and paid for by the Communist Chinese.

The candidate for senator in NH that the Turtle betrayed was Brigadier General Donald Bolduc. His name was misspelled in the original posting.

How many of those who voted against Mitch are up for reelection in 2 years and got permission from McConnell for their No vote, knowing Mitch would win anyway?
