America's #1 cable news channel was the outlet that former vice president Mike Pence chose on Tuesday evening to do everything but formally declare that he will be a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
In an extensive live interview with Bret Baier from New York, where he is promoting his political memoir, So Help Me God, published yesterday (including an hour-long town hall on CNN tonight), Pence used the high-profile platform of Fox News to position himself as a sane, moderate, Christian-inspired alternative to President Trump as well as any other candidates among the growing number who plan to challenge President Biden in two years.

Surprise, surprise that he goes to Bret Baier knowing he'll get a cream puff interview. Mike sounds like a real sock puppet:
PENCE: Well, it's a free country, Bret, and I — the president's entitled to make whatever announcement that he wants to make tonight.
But, as I wrote in my book that was just released today, I'm incredibly proud of the record of the Trump-Pence administration. ... But ... as I have traveled around the country over the last two years, what I hear again and again, Bret, is that people want to see us return to the policies of the Trump-Pence administration, but I — I hear people saying that they would like us to move forward with leadership that will unite our country around our highest ideals and reflect the kind of respect and civility that the American people demonstrate to each other every day. ...

What a DC toad...in jolly ole England there was a tradition of sending white bird feathers to a coward....letting them know that they were not respected...perhaps it's time for a white feather drop in pence's mailbox....

I'd like Pence to show me one example of 'respect and civility' that the dems show to anyone that doesn't spout their lies!

I hope so. It'll give me someone to vote against in the primary.

In 2020 Pence proved he had more in common with the elite republican RINOs than with true Trump supporters. I'd sooner stay home on election day than vote for him.

Of course he’s running. What’s news? Same goes for DeSantis and Pompeo. Watch where the money goes. In ‘16 it flowed to Trump after he got the nod in Vegas.

It's just a means for him to collect the money he was promised for cheating Trump.

I don't think this Casper Milquetoast could get elected as dog catcher. And amen, #6 now that we know that is what they do as they fiddle with our primaries.

The more this idiot Pence shows up in public, the more he's making a fool of himself. No one wants him in politics any more.

Look he had the right to his interpretation of 1/6 but his actions since the election have been less that admirable. If he thinks he has a base to support him run. I suspect he will sink with very little evidence of every existing. Most turncoats are not admired. He gets press because he slams Trump. Anybody who slams Trump gets press. Nobody on the right admires or supports people who slam the Republican party or Trump.

He's hearing everywhere he goes in this country that people want to return to the Trump/Pence policies. BS. What I just witnessed in this country, is that there are a lot more people who apparently like the free hand outs that demosluts give them. They like not working. They like the country being run by demosluts, and they like demoslut policies. Inflation doesn't bother them. They're not all that interested in this country being energy independent and are fine with the notion that the border remains open.

I am laughing myself silly over automaton Mike Pence. WHO in the world doesn’t realize he has been preparing with the establishment for 2024 way back when he was supposed to be serving POTUS?

As far as most Republican voters are concerned, Pence is persona non grata. Someone should tell him what that means.
