Authorities in Maricopa County, Arizona, confirmed Tuesday morning at a news conference that around 20 percent of the vote centers in the county are experiencing issues.
“In about 20 percent of the vote centers … when people will go and try to run the ballot through this tabulator, maybe one out of every five or so, of those ballots are not going through,” said Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chair Bill Gates. “It’s not like both of the tabulators in these 20 percent of locations are having these issues. (snip).
not preventing people from casting their ballot, (snip) voters can deposit their ballot

The Jimmy Carter Center for Election Integrity inspected Maricopa machines yesterday and signed a document certifying they were absolutely ready to go, no problems expected for the election today. Jimma Carter worst president ever until Obama and Joe Biden.

For chrissakes. This is unbelievable. They've had years... years to fix any problems, and here we are. Fortunately dems will be crushed anyway.

Not to be a "conspiracy nut", but something similar happened at our polling place in NJ. People (my husband among them) were being sent home to "come back later" because there were problems with the machines. Something about issues with alignment being off. Husband reported this to the County Reps Org. He also filed a complaint with the Board of Elections. (I know, I know....I hear your laughter right through my screen.)
Is this happening elsewhere??
FYI: The Dems in my District are running the son of Crooked Sen. Bob Menendez for Congress.

No wonder Hobbs didn't both to debate Lake or go on the campaign trail to stump or even do many interviews. She knew how it worked in 2020 and decided to steal the Governorship this time around. The Dems always make sure the count is close but not too close to force a recount. You can bet it's happening in Georgia as well where they stole two Senate seats in 2020. Here we go again!

I had a problem (immediately resolved) with the mechanical creation of a populated paper ballot but the separate electromechanical reading of the ballot worked properly. It was a proper insertion and tolerance problem. I felt the process needed work/refinement. It was not intuitive. Texas machines.

Who's job is this to make sure elections run smoothly in Arizona?
Let me think.
I think her name rhymes with Sobs.

The excuses this time will be legendary.

Katy Hobbs was elected Secretary of State in 2018. I don't recall having any of these voting machine problems prior prior to her taking office. Now, they seem to be pervasive. And I suspect, convenient.

I certainly hope a lot of GOP resources are sent over to that area to ensure remedies are installed, which may include a hand count.
My only concern when I voted yesterday, was they told me I only need to sign my name, that the address was not required anymore, even though it's on the envelope. Then, they simply tossed my sealed ballot into a box behind them - it was not scanned since I had it filled out before I arrived at the polling location.
Now, what's wrong with only signature? Of course, they can say it was all legit based on the signature on file and the signature on the ballot envelope with no need to have physical address to back-up the registration.
And, in a state that allows ballot harvesting, can you imagine the level of potential for casting large number of ballots?

I just voted here in Charleston, SC. In and out in 10 minutes and run like #10’s Swiss watch. Never had a problem voting here at all. Interestingly, all but one poll worker were white whereas in the past they have been almost all black. Don’t know what that means, just thought it was interesting.

The fix is in Arizona. The fix is in Arizona. Surprised? Shouldn't be. Hobbs in action. Should be investigated. Merrick is silent. Merrick is complicit.

By the way, here in Grand Junction, Colorado, voting is going quite smoothly despite heavy turnout. This is Lauren Boebert land. Most folks must have voted early. We were in and out in a jiffy. Didn't even have to stand in line while visiting with our neighbors. Besides, everybody was on top of all the local rumors.
