I have been pretty clear about my take on election fraud: it happens. How could it not? There is fraud in every aspect of human life, and we generally take precautions to minimize it. In elections? Not so much.
It also rarely makes much of a difference, because committing massive fraud is difficult, requires the cooperation of significant numbers of people to pull off, and when it matters a lot the lawyers get involved.
I think it happens a lot more than Democrats are willing to admit, but I also think it affects the outcomes of elections a lot fewer times than many Republicans suppose. It is a marginal

Shut up! If the Republicans had succeeded with a red wave, what would you be saying? Uh huh. . .

You are wrong, David, and the fact that you and people like you continually put this narrative out there is why the fraud continues. You are as much to blame as those who cheat.

Things worked out fine here in KY. All the candidates I voted for won. The KY House grew its GOP supermajority - from 75 GOP and 25 DemoRATS to 80 GOP vs 20 donks. The KY Senate gained a seat for the GOP (now 31 to 7, up from 30-8.) The KY Constitutional Amendment 2 ending a 'right' to an abortion was defeated - but it's heading to a hearing next Tuesday at the KY Supreme Court.
We'll see if the GOP gets a majority in the US House - and nothing has been finalized yet in the Senate. Not holding my breath though.

It was. Here in Arizona, where Kari Lake signs are everywhere, most people I saw at the polls were wearing red, everybody I know voted the straight GOP ticket, and the Maricopa machines just happen to break down in the middle of election day. Also our Secretary of State in charge of elections is the Democratic candidate for Governor... no conflict of interest there!

When Republicans move, they go to Florida and Texas. Notice the big red wave in Florida? That's why. It offset any influx of Democrats to large Florida cities.
When Democrats move, they move to Democrat run states and cities. They go to states like Colorado, and cities like Atlanta. Boebert is losing because her district is turning blue. Walker is in trouble because of Atlanta. Guarantee Atlanta has voter fraud, and it is a factor in close elections. Pick a precinct overrun by crime, and you will likely find massive voter fraud. Kemp won because Abrams is an extremely unattractive candidate in multiple ways.
Don't blame everything on voter fraud. There are a dozen other reasons why Republicans lose. Start with all the people getting a government check. Add to it all the people working for the government directly or indirectly. Top it all off by all the rich liberals heavily invested in government boondoggles. Democrats are also the party of dreamers so they get all the people saving the planet fighting climate change and all the people trying to change human nature by being social justice warriors. The Democrats are also the party of criminals so any precinct where crime is largely tolerated vote Democrat to keep themselves out of jail. The Democrats also control most of the media and education and brainwash people. That is where all the brainwashed Trump haters come from. These are all factors why Republicans lose.

Strom sets up idiotic premises that voter fraud must be in the voting, and ignores the votes sent to arbitration, thrown in the trash, illegal votes counted. That type of dishonesty dismisses Strom as not worth anyone's time.

So I guess what this dummy is saying is that people just love violent crime, love open borders, love inflation, love killing a baby at birth, love the indoctrination of their children by perverts and pedophiles, and just have to love their daughters competing against males in sports. I mean you just have to love the communist democratic agenda. Look at how much they have to offer. How could you not vote for a commie democrat. How could one not vote for a vegetable like that guy in Pa. who's going to release violent criminals. So tell me, how does anybody vote for a man who can't utter two coherent words, let alone a sentence. Guess it's all legit. Wake up..

Really? Then please explain all of the New York and New Jersey transplants who have moved to South Carolina and turned the City of Charleston blue.

What a load of nonsense. There is no Democratic machine in Colorado? Don’t they control the state government? Don’t they have universal mail-in voting?
Oh yeah, Kemp did much better than Walker because Trump. It has nothing to do with Kemp being an incumbent and Walker being a political novice. /sarc

well it is an interesting guess but wouldn't it be nice to do an audit and find out? And which party stands in the way? The Democrats stand in the way. So you'll have to go on guessing and in fairness you ought to say that you don't really know, and the reason you don't know, is Democrats are hiding stuff behind their backs. No way to know. Know what you don't know, right? You don't know, the law says you should be allowed to ask, but you cannot.

Maybe, maybe not. When elections are within 1 or 2 percentage points, it doesn't take much. Fake polls can sway just enough people. The constant bleat of Tsunami, Red Wave, etc, can encourage people to either stay home or get out of bed and vote. The thought of not being able to kill your baby terrified many gullible people.

Re #16,
Always had the impression that Democrats are predominantly city dwellers and large cities at that. NY and NJ Democrats moving to Charleston doesn't sound like a surprise. I live in Florida, and it wouldn't surprise me to see NY and NJ Democrats moving to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and other large Florida cities. Alot of them already have Democrat mayors. Look at the county map and most of the Democrat's counties are around large cities.

The problem is that we simply do not know the truth about vote fraud. Although it's probable that many elections have been determined by Democrat vote fraud, Republicans are not doing near enough to discover and disclose the truth, whatever that truth is. Therefore, a Republican majority in the House of Representatives. which seems likely, should in good faith hold public hearings to discover and disclose that truth. Also, Republican controlled state legislatures should study Florida's voting procedures statutes with open minds, and, as appropriate, make amendments.

Reminds me of the rushed assurances we received when Joe got more votes than any candidate in history.
When Americans show up to vote in person, and the voting machines mysteriously don't work ON ELECTION DAY, and a judge won't allow polls to close later to make up for lost time eaten up by "repairs" why would voters immediately discount the possibility of cheating? Especially when we don't even know who is running the country.

#22 - The Republicans "should" but they won't. Its the Uniparty. Conservative, constitutionally-orientated people have no representation and won't have for a very long time. I've never felt more politically defeated. I see no point in political activism anymore. My energies will be devoted to Spiritual Warfare, where I know I'm on the winning side. I'm turning in my MAGA and going exclusive AMDG.

Neither this author nor anyone else can state with certainty that there was no significant cheating. The fact is that the election processes in many jurisdictions, and particularly in the big blue cities, are set up in such a way that cheating is potentially very possible. The ONLY way to confirm that significant cheating isn't happening is to establish procedural controls on every step of the process AND to allow audits.
Procedurally, here are the key protections needed:
1) Valid registrations (citizenship, residency, non-duplicate elsewhere)
2) Ballot issuance control (paper ballots only, not to exceed registrations, absentees only by request of valid registered voter, if absentee then must be received by election day)
3) One and ONLY one election day
4) All counting must be complete within 24 hours of closing on election day
5) Partial, random audits for EVERY election
6) Any tampering convictions will be felonies, with jail time required

TQ, it is a sad day. Seeing your post made it sadder still. I made a similar decision in 2020. For decades, reading and replying on this site had been one of my great joys, but I needed to focus on other things.
Despite that, I still occasionally backslide and check in to see how fondly-remembered L-Dotters such as yourself are doing. Whatever you decide to do next, and wherever you go, I know that you will go with God...
As you always have.

I have a few simple rules... always work rules.
If it seems too good to be true, it is.
If there is no futzing way it makes sense, there's something else at work.
This doesn't make sense. Theft, on the other hand, makes perfect sense.
THERE'S your elephant.
