The desperation of the Democratic Party appears to know no bounds. On Tuesday, the House Oversight Committee engaged in a markup on a resolution of inquiry (ROI) that requires President Joe Biden to hand over documents related to his family's international business schemes, including and especially as it relates to his son, Hunter. During the markup, however, two Democratic members decided to pivot to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and remarks he made at CPAC that were taken out of context.
This includes Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who serves as the committee's chairwoman but who won't serve in the next Congress

In 1990, Ken Burns was the great talent behind The Civil War, an epic nine-episode PBS documentary that he made for PBS. It was comprehensive, gorgeous, heartbreaking, and riveting. His later work wasn’t as good but it was still damned good. But Burns, like so many leftists, is now so riddled with hatred for Republicans that he cheapens his every utterance and destroys his own legacy. The latest example is how he’s used his upcoming documentary, The US and the Holocaust, to bash modern Republicans and cover for WWII-era Democrats.

In December of 1776, General Washington and his small army were retreating back across New York, New Jersey, and into Pennsylvania. They were hungry, cold, and so lacking in necessities that many men were barefoot in freezing temperatures.
Why were they there? Because just five and a half months earlier, the Declaration of Independence had been signed. These men believed in those self-evident truths so much that they were willing to die for them — as Nathan Hale said, his only regret was that he had "but one life to lose for his country."

Recently, the Arizona Mirror revealed that the Republican Party in Arizona is urging Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell to financially support U.S. Senate candidate Blake Masters.
Masters, who secured a coveted endorsement from President Trump, triumphed in the primaries based on that seal of approval.
In the beginning, Masters was trailing his Democrat rival, incumbent Sen. Mark Kelly, by a significant margin of 12 points.
But matters have recently swung in Masters's favor, and a recent Emerson College poll has Kelly leading Masters by just two percentage points.

Dogs bark; wolves howl.
The domestication process that turned wolves into family pets has served the dog well. For most, it meant guaranteed food, shelter, and comfort while being able to stay in a familiar social structure (humans as pack leader, etc.).
But there was a trade-off — a big one. That same process trapped domestic dogs in a permanent state of adolescence. Essentially, when one is domesticated, one stops growing up. And that time lock is why Rover barks and does not howl like a wolf — the wolf in the wild is able to grow up and, as with most members of the Canis species, howls

Who knew that residents of woke and progressive Martha’s Vineyard were racist, white supremacist, xenophobes?
Former President Barack Obama owns a $12 million estate on this racist island off the coast of Massachusetts. Are the Obamas racists?
Other liberal celebrities either live or frequent Martha’s Vineyard, including Oprah Winfrey, Larry David, Bill Murray, John Kerry, and the Clintons. Perhaps they are all racists, too, as the island has become anti-immigration.
As NBC News confidently asserts, there is “racism behind anti-immigration rhetoric,” rhetoric which we are now hearing from Martha’s Vineyard.
Democrats and the left do not believe in a sovereign national border, instead encouraging illegal immigration and amnesty

The battle of life calls forth three noble and healthful psychological attributes: loyalty to kin and country; honor of work that protects and promotes survival; and, most fundamental to mental health, gratitude for the gift of life itself.
Spirituality is always practical, and practicality is inherently spiritual, because they share the vital functions of protecting life and promoting full humanness. Loyalty to kin and country is essential to survival. Honoring those who labor in the many aspects of service is natural justice. The foundation of mental health is the experience of gratitude for the gift of life. Gratitude is the beautiful background music of life.

The numbers are in and the folks running the Emmys have a CNN problem. This is from Variety:
The Nielsen data for the 2022 Emmys on NBC is in and its [sic] not looking good for TV's biggest night.
The awards show was down 25% from last year in total viewers and hit a new record low in ratings.
On Monday, the Kenan Thompson-hosted 74th Emmy Awards had a 1.0 rating among adults 18–49, the lowest-ever key demo stat for the Emmys.

Let me say at the outset that I’d rather have Lindsey Graham in the United States Senate than any Democrat, especially the clown he beat last time who is now the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (liberals fail up). Jamie Harrison is a racist pile of garbage on top of being a moron who would do everything he was told by the White House. Graham is a lot of things, and one of them is significantly better than Harrison is in every way. But he’s far from perfect and getting farther away from it every day. When John McCain was alive Lindsey Graham followed him around like a puppy

Republican Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa is pushing for the Biden administration to play by the rules it expects Americans to follow with a new bill aimed at turning up the heat — literally — in solidarity with residents in California who have been plagued by energy shortages and the threat of rolling blackouts as a result of the left's so-called "green" energy policies.
"During a hot summer, liberal leaders told folks to set the AC to 78 degrees to compensate for failed Democratic policies,"

At some point, these horrible RINOs will notice there is no one standing behind them. RINO Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Rounds, Kevin Kramer slammed Trump and said “pardons for January 6 protesters was a bad idea.” These same senators have SAID NOTHING about the men and women imprisoned today without trial following the January 6 protests. Don’t fool yourself, they don’t care if ANY Trump supporter rots in prison.CORRECTION*
