US President Joe Biden will attend the Queen's funeral with his wife Jill next week, officials have confirmed.
The head of state is set to go to the service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, September 19, along with dozens of other world leaders.
However, the world's most powerful politician faces the prospect of being asked to catch a coach service to the venue, after it was claimed attendees will be a banned from arriving in private transport.
Dignitaries will be made to arrive in escorted coaches and 'because of tight security and road restrictions', they will not be allowed to use their private state vehicles, it is reported.

Georgia Democrats are wringing their hands about the lackluster performance of their gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams, in her long-anticipated rematch with incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. They kept their worries to themselves until the New York Times ran a story last Wednesday that highlighted complaints by local Democrats that she hasn’t bothered to reach out to crucial constituencies. It appears that Abrams, having been showered by obsequious media coverage since Kemp defeated her in 2018, was overconfident about her chances of beating him this year and took her base supporters for granted.

Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) said Sunday on CBS “Face the Nation” that domestic threats the United States is facing are worse than international terrorism threats.
Partial transcript as follows:
MARGARET BRENNAN: You know, 9/11 introduced to many Americans for the very first time, this sense of vulnerability at home, and it launched the global war on terror. I wonder how vulnerable you think America is now, are we paying enough attention to the Middle East and to Afghanistan?
WARNER: Well, Margaret, I remember, as most Americans do, where they were on 9/11. I was in the middle of a political campaign

The country was forever changed on this day 21 years ago.
Terrorists hijacked and crashed passenger planes into buildings in New York and just outside of Washington, D.C. One hijacked plane dove into an empty field, its hijackers’ plans foiled by a group of courageous passengers.
Nearly 3,000 victims’ lives were claimed by extremist group al-Qaida’s 9/11 attacks. New York City lost more than 400 first responders who rushed to help at the burning World Trade Center. More than 83,000 first responders have enrolled in a Centers for Disease Control program that provides support for a number of medical conditions, like cancer and post-traumatic stress disorder, that arose from being

Democrats are running as Republicans in races across America today. It’s the only way they can win in a majority of locations around the country. So they pretend to be Republicans until after they are elected.
They even have a name for these Democrat plants. They’re called “secret sleepers.“
In June Project Veritas released leaked audio of Democrat US Senate candidate Krystle Matthews speaking on the phone with an inmate at Perry Correctional Institution. Democrat Matthews called for “secret sleepers” to infiltrate the South Carolina Republican party.

The sound of Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson on Friday's PBS NewsHour underlined how there is no debate and no democracy on PBS. They put on a RINO who says the GOP is simply awful, and the liberal on the panel says "Oh, I agree!" Republicans pay taxes to be painted as awful for opposing the murder of unborn babies.
Gerson was the chief speechwriter for President George W. Bush, a moderate Christian conservative. Bush nominated Justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the majority opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade.

That Queen Elizabeth II passed away this week was a surprise only in the sense of the day it happened. Nothing against the Queen, who always seemed like a nice, lovely person, but she was 96. When someone is 96 years old the days are numbered. One day we might cheat death, or find ways to postpone it much longer than nature dictates currently, but that day isn’t today. So, sad as it is for family and friends of anyone who passes away at any age, surprise isn’t a word that leaps to mind to describe it.

U.S. military prosecutors are reportedly negotiating potential plea deals with 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other conspirators imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay.
The plea deals may allow the five dependents to escape a potential death penalty, according to CBS. Mohammed is widely credited with being the architect of the 9/11 terror attacks. The other four defendants are Ramzi Binalshibh, Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, Walid bin Attash and Ammar al-Baluchi.
Attorneys for the defendants reportedly say they would be willing to enter a guilty plea in exchange for taking the death penalty off the table, as well as for getting treatment for alleged torture they experienced while in CIA custody.

Old Joe Biden said it during his ominous black-and-red speech on September 1: “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” On Sunday, the twenty-first anniversary of the September 11, 2001, jihad terror attacks that killed nearly three thousand people, Chuck Todd on Meet the Press did his best to emphasize the alleged threat that Trump supporters pose to “our democracy,” by which Leftists always mean their own hegemony over the political process. Todd asked Vice President Kamala Harris: “Look, we’re at the twenty-first, um, marking, if you will, of the September 11th attacks. This was a foreign terrorist

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted on Sunday that a looming recession and higher gas prices are a 'risk' for the Biden administration in the coming months.
It's a stark departure from months of talking up the economy in spite of growing concerns from experts and lawmakers and decades-high inflation.
Some of the loudest warnings are coming from progressive Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has said for months that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's interest rate hikes to bring down spending will plummet the country into a recession.

Joe Biden paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II during a speech commemorating the September 11th terrorist attacks – and told Americans that they 'owe it' to victims and survivors to stand up for democracy.
The president also attempted to earn redemption points during the most unifying annual event in the U.S. after insulting all Trump supporters earlier this month by insinuating in a speech they are a threat to American democracy.
During remarks at the Pentagon on Sunday, just three days after Queen Elizabeth's death, Biden quoted the monarch by saying: 'Grief is a price we pay for love.'

Mehmet Oz, the celebrity doctor and Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, rushed into the crowd to help a woman who collapsed during his campaign rally in Bucks County on Saturday. (Tweet) Within thirty seconds of the woman collapsing, Oz reportedly rushed from backstage and hopped over a barrier between him and the crowd to give the woman aid. Oz conducted a “preliminary assessment” of the woman who collapsed, according to Oz campaign spokesperson Brittany Yanick. Oz stayed in the crowd with the woman until medics could put her on a stretcher and wheel her out of the venue.
