Georgia Democrats are wringing their hands about the lackluster performance of their gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams, in her long-anticipated rematch with incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. They kept their worries to themselves until the New York Times ran a story last Wednesday that highlighted complaints by local Democrats that she hasn’t bothered to reach out to crucial constituencies. It appears that Abrams, having been showered by obsequious media coverage since Kemp defeated her in 2018, was overconfident about her chances of beating him this year and took her base supporters for granted.

Why should she dirty her hands on the little people? They owe it to her because, you know, slavery.

Abrams suffers from an overdose of Hillary's unlikeability coupled with being an unattractive Angry Black Woman. She thinks just being black should be sufficient to win elections.

Abrams is the kind of politician that can really only win things like a mayorship or a house seat highly populated by people like herself. It would be highly unusual for someone like her to win a statewide election save for the bluest of blue states.

Because she’s running again democrats. Kemp and Raffensperger are the secret democrats that ran as Republicans along with many state legislators and county officials. This is how they colluded to overthrow the 2020 election in five swing states.

"Ironically, her elevation to political stardom by the corporate media has become something of a liability. Most Georgia voters know more about her than they did in 2018 and that has made fewer of them willing to trust her. "
Truth - her loss in 2018 brought out the worst in her, and behaving like a sore loser and acting like an entitled spoiled brat in the glare of the the media spotlight has enabled everyone to see what a wretched, hypocritical excuse for a human being she really is. That can only result in fewer Georgians voting for her than the last time around.

Stacey is a twisted sister...who convinced herself she was "entitled" to leadership of a state because she was a black woman who suffered slavery one hundred years ago...how this computes in her mind...I haven't a clue...but okay...put it before the people of her state and let them decide...not with stolen ballots...but honest voting...and let the chips fall where they will....

Stacey reminds me of the new employee who is charming for the first hour you know her, and then you realize that she is the back stabbing person who will smile while she undercuts you,
which may be why Biden's handlers did not select her as VP nb

She doesn't need to campaign.

It doesn't help that her credentials for qualifying to be governor are paper thin. A few terms in the GA state assembly. Not much else on her resume besides rabble rousing and writing some 2-star romance novels.

The Democrats tried to turn Abrams into a star and she badly wanted to be one. Once she loses this election (again) you will rarely hear a word about her. The Left will drop her and move on to someone else.

How do Dems run as Repubs? They have to have the same platform ideology as GOP's or they can be thrown off of the ticket. Are they that great at lying?????????

Just like VP Harris proves everyday..it takes more than a female gender and being black to hold office and be successful. When people start to be elected based on merit and ability instead of on how many social justice check marks they can obtain is when they might win elections and be taken serious. Let’s hope Georgia is smarter than California when it come to electing a governor. I think it is funny SA gets away with complaining about a stolen election but Trump does not get away with it.
