According to the California Democrat lawmaker, witnesses continued “to come forward” to share information with the committee. Therefore, the committee could add more hearings.
Maddow said, “What should we understand in terms of how close to the end you are? We keep hearing from you and other members of the committee that there’s still more to find out, there’s still more to get to the bottom of, that the investigation has turned up a lot of stuff, actually, in recent days

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) is getting roasted on social media after management announced that it is creating a permanent disinformation reporting team that had been operating on a temporary basis.
NPR, a network consumed with identity politics, famously or infamously suppressed the Hunter Biden ‘laptop from hell’ story, because it was a waste of time and a “pure distraction.”
Although this statement does not seem to appear on the main NPR website, Nevada Public Radio posted a staff note purportedly from Terence Samuel, VP and Executive Editor, and Nancy Barnes, SVP of News and Editorial Director, in which the duo claimed that disinformation “has emerged as one of

The role of the White House Press Secretary is supposed to be to convey the position of the Biden Administration. But it’s one heck of a tough job because it also involves cleaning up after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who so frequently make a mess of things. It doesn’t help when the person who is the press secretary keeps stepping in it herself.
Here’s Karine Jean-Pierre agreeing, at least in part, that what Kamala Harris said — comparing the Supreme Court opinion returning the decision on abortion to the states to slavery — was right. So not only did Kamala say a monumentally stupid

President Joe Biden is currently on pace to bring about 2.1 million illegal aliens to the United States-Mexico border by the end of the year.
Steve Kopits with the Princeton Policy Advisors projects that in fiscal year 2022, Biden will entice about 2.1 million illegal aliens to the southern border — an annual record for illegal immigration that surpasses Biden’s record-setting levels for 2021.
“Overall, the situation at the border is largely unchanged. The Open Borders policy remains in place,” Kopits wrote in an analysis. (Graph) The projection comes as Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that nearly 192,000 border crossers were apprehended in June.

Federal prosecutors said Monday they have declined to bring charges against nine people associated with CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” who were arrested in a building in the U.S. Capitol complex last month. The incident followed the third public hearing by the House panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection.

Avery Siwinski is a 17-year-old who's parents spent $11,000 on a used Ford Focus Electric car, which is a 2014 model and had about 60,000 miles when it was bought, according to KVUE. The teenager had the car for six months before it began giving her issues and the dashboard was flashing symbols. "It was fine at first," Siwinski said. "I loved it so much. It was

Volodymyr Zelensky has fired his top security chief and the state prosecutor after hundreds of cases of treason and collaboration with Russia were uncovered. The Ukrainian president sacked Ivan Bakanov, head of the security service, and Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova, who had been leading efforts to prosecute Russian war crimes. Zelensky said more than 60 officials from the SBU security service and prosecutor's office were working against Ukraine in Russian-occupied territories, and 651 treason and collaboration cases had been opened against law enforcement officials. The sackings and the sheer number of treason cases reveals the huge challenge of Russian infiltration as Kyiv battles Moscow in what it says

A chaotic scene erupted in Minneapolis as protesters gathered at an apartment building where a 20-year-old black man was shot by police after he fired into the residence of a mother of two who was preparing dinner for her children at the time. (snip) But the mother who barely escaped his bullets was having none of it, angrily confronting demonstrators whom she told “he tried to kill me,” which was all captured on video that has since gone viral.

Antifa masked terrorists are clearly the enemy of this constitutional republic. They are as clear of a danger to it as the teachers, politicians, and media that coach, train, enable, and even cheer them…and yes, join them.
They are at every level, not just in Oregon. They are in your state, your city, your neighborhood. Portland has become a magnet for Antifa rioters given the city’s liberal stance.
Well, Antifa ran into some bad luck the other day.

The shameful video of Uvalde cops cowering in the hallway while some freakish mutant murdered little kids brings to mind an important point. It's not a point about the cowardice of badly-led police officers – that point has been made. It's not the hygiene focus of the guy who paused just standing there to splurt a dollop of hand sanitizer into his paw. It's not even about the fact that we normal citizens cannot rely on the forces of the government to protect us.
It is the fact that the members of our garbage ruling elite cannot rely on the forces of the government to protect them.

Republican candidate for governor Tim Michels has spent nearly $7.7 million since entering the race three months ago — an aggressive strategy that has pushed him to the top of the Republican primary in recent state polling.
Michels, a multimillionaire who co-owns the state's largest construction company, has donated $7.9 million of his own money to his campaign since April — accounting for nearly all of the money the campaign raised as of July, according to Michels' first campaign finance report.

The chances that Biden could attract a primary challenger are rising amid devastating polling numbers with Democrats and particularly young voters. His loyalists have defended him against the increasingly negative headlines. They say he stepped into a mess made by former President Trump and that some of the lawmakers in Congress who were supposed to help him turn things around have been difficult and disappointing. But that willingness to prop up the sinking president has been wearing thin. Day by day, Democrats are considering a possible new scenario: challenging the sitting president for the 2024 nomination. “Unless Biden comes to

The latest cause celebre for leftists in Minnesota is the case of Tekle Sundberg. Sundberg tried to murder a young woman, Cassandra Yarbrough, whom he apparently did not know. Police were called, Sundberg fired repeatedly from within an apartment, there was a standoff that lasted for hours, officers tried to negotiate with Sundberg and brought in family members to try to persuade him to surrender. Under circumstances that are not yet clear, officers eventually shot and killed Sundberg. My colleague David Zimmer, a veteran of 37 years in law enforcement, has a sober and unbiased review of the facts as we know them so far.

It’s not often we see Democrats complimenting political adversaries or admitting their own policies and stances were incorrect. To be fair, the same could be said about most Republicans, but this stubbornness and defiance appear much more frequently on the left. When was the last time we heard Liz Warren say something nice about Ted Cruz? And can anyone recall a nice thing AOC has said about Lauren Boebert?
But for Democrats, there is a hierarchy of antagonism. Figures such as Mitch McConnell and Marco Rubio are seen as rivals. Others such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Clarence Thomas are seen as enemies. And then we have Donald Trump,

It is difficult, perhaps impossible, to describe just how bad President Joe Biden is at his job. Comparisons to Jimmy Carter are pervasive, but trite -- and too flattering to Carter. Perhaps a more apt (and dark) analogy, given how civic strife has reached a fever pitch, is to James Buchanan, historians' typical consensus pick for worst president ever.
Indeed, to fully capture the absolute horror that is this senile near-octogenarian's presidential swan song would be a Herculean task, better suited for a David McCullough-style biography than a column. But for present purposes, and despite the difficulty of narrowing down from such a vast sample size,

More than 150 buses traveling from Arizona and Texas have transported nearly 6,000 migrants to the nation’s capital over the past three months, and Democrats in Washington are complaining that they cannot accommodate the mass releases.
The operation has collectively cost both border states millions of taxpayer dollars, including $6.8 million in Texas to date. But Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who initiated the operation in mid-April, said the move is having the desired results — getting Washington politicians a little taste of how communities have been inundated under President Joe Biden.

President Joe Biden wrapped up his first presidential trip to the Middle East on Saturday with no clear domestic benefits from a trip that brought widespread criticism back home.
Biden received no concrete commitments from Saudi Arabia to increase oil production, the main deliverable that could have helped address his biggest domestic challenge of inflation, in fact, the Saudis announced that they will not increase their oil production. He made no significant progress toward a resolution between the Israelis and Palestinians.
Even his friend from ABC decided to criticize him

An account was published Sunday in the San Marcos Record of a massive late June raid on a couple in rural Hays County, Texas that resulted in no arrest. The scale of forces deployed and the tactics used seem designed to intimidate and punish, especially considering the fact that the couple never entered the US Capitol on June 6, and were guilty only of being Trump supporters who were peacefully demonstrating.
Lora DeWolfe and Darrel Kennemer were startled when FBI agents, during the pre-dawn hours on June 22, broke through their gate leading up to their home which sits on seven acres in rural Hays County.

Sen. Bernie Sanders accused Sen. Joe Manchin of “intentionally sabotaging” President Biden’s agenda after the West Virginia Democrat pulled his support from legislation that included initiatives to battle climate change and raise taxes on corporations and wealthy individuals.
“He has sabotaged the president’s agenda,” Sanders (I-Vt.) said Sunday on ABC News’ “This Week.”
“If you check the record, six months ago, I made it clear that you have people like Manchin, Sinema to a lesser degree, who are intentionally sabotaging the president’s agenda, what the American people, what a majority of us in the Democratic caucus want. Nothing new about this,” he told host Martha Raddatz, referring to Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema.

One of the things that most bothers me about the “Never Trumpers” is their obsession with the man. I get that they don’t like him – fine, don’t have him over for dinner – but they seemingly wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat screaming his name. Everything, in their minds, is about him and they can’t stand it or shut up about it; it’s beyond their control. The same is true, though in a different way, of the radical left. They have this uncontrollable compulsion to be as far-left as a drum circle in San Francisco, even when it damages their cause.

Why would the seated administration sue a state over a constitutionally verifiable action it takes—especially when 80% or more of its own supporters are in favor of that action? Specifically why would *President Joe Biden choose to sue the state of Arizona over a state statute, handling the state’s business?
You may say, “it’s none of the Federal Government’s business what that state decides internally within its borders.” And you would be right.
The Biden DOJ did that just a bit more than a week ago.

My mother was a role model for all of us in the business world. No matter where you go or who you meet, you must recognize there were not too many like her in anyone’s life.”

Have you ever writhed in a racist dance — have you engaged in the bigotry known as ballet? If the activity isn’t fully nefarious, it’s at least a sinister sign of whiteness.
That, per a high-class conservatory.
The Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) — a self-identified “progressive institution” — has decided to banish ballet.
From The Telegraph:
NSCD…has reviewed the “elitist” art form as part of a diversity drive that has seen the introduction of new policies relating to gender and race.
According to “Head of Undergraduate” Francesca McCarthy, ballet boasts a “contentious nature;” it’s saddled with the wickedness of “white European ideas.”
Hence, from NSCD’s entrance auditions, ballet has been booted.

Even “better,” today’s left-wing radicals make Obama look like a piker in the race-hustling industry.

Washington, D.C.'s homeless shelters are filling up because Texas Governor Greg Abbott is sending busloads of migrants from his state to the nation's capital, Mayor Muriel Bowser claimed Sunday morning.
The D.C. mayor is requesting that Abbott stop preventing migrants from getting to their final destinations.
Arizona's Governor Doug Ducey followed Abbott's lead earlier this summer as they both started sending migrants from their respective states to D.C. to take some of the load off of the migration crisis hitting border states.
Due to this initiative, homeless shelters in the nation's capital are starting to cap out with these asylum-seekers.

Vincent Webb’s little dog, Arthur, did what most dogs do and started digging in the backyard near the garden outside after relieving himself on Thursday in North Charleston, South Carolina, WCBD reported.
Webb noticed that his dog had uncovered something very dangerous – an unexploded ordnance.

Let’s ship the people who entered illegally and who are awaiting their asylum claims to Washington, D.C., so that the people in Washington finally get how we are being overwhelmed. Dr. Deborah Birx, White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator for President Trump, launched her book about her one-person attack on our form of government and our economy under the guise of saving us from the Wuhan virus. Though it has been out for a couple of months, it is only now attracting the attention it deserves. The book is called Silent Invasion and, to quote Michael Senger, “reads like a how-to guide in subverting a democratic superpower from within, as could only be told through the personal account of someone who was on the front lines doing just that.”
