In a statement penned Tuesday, Washington Post senior managing editor Cameron Barr stepped up to defend hypocritical malefactor Taylor Lorenz after she doxed the owner of the Libs of TikTok Twitter account, including her identity and address, all because she exposed the lunatics, groomers, and general extremists of the left. And rightfully, there was a great public outcry against the paper.
Laughably calling Lorenz an “accomplished and diligent journalist,” Barr said her “reporting methods comport entirely with The Washington Post’s professional standards.” But in the rest of the statement, Barr spewed lies to cover for Lorenz’s disgusting style of muckraking. He falsely claimed the identity of the account holder

Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night wondered aloud why Taylor Lorenz, the author of a Washington Post story earlier in the day on the popular Twitter account Libs of Tik Tok, isn’t registered as a foreign agent.
In the piece, the reporter makes note of findings from software developer Travis Brown that helped her reveal the account’s creator, Brooklyn-based real estate agent Chaya Raichik. Specifically, Brown uncovered deleted tweets from the account, including those in which Raichik claimed she attended the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Brown, Lorenz notes, receives support from the German-based Prototype Fund. The fund, according to its website,

After Taylor Lorenz doxed Libs of Tik Tok in the pages of the Washington Post, that paper released a statement defending the doxing, and defending Lorenz's journalistic standards. They also lied, claiming that Lorenz had not published the home address of the Libs of Tik Tok account holder, when in fact, she had. The article was later scrubbed to purge those details, but they were there when the article was published at 6 am on Tuesday. They wrote that Lorenz, who cried on MSNBC after getting mean tweets and then blasted MSNBC for interviewing her at all since it led to even more mean tweets, "is an accomplished journalist."

Can Biden Buy Votes With Student Debt Relief? The 2020 Democratic presidential primary race was a bidding war in which the various candidates advocated spending trillions of dollars to enact sweeping progressive agendas. Some agendas were a bit more sweeping than others, but they all amounted to unprecedented increases in federal spending. Take the issue of student loans. Sen. Bernie Sanders, the most progressive of the contenders, wanted to cancel all $1.6 trillion in student debt — just throw out all student loans for 40-plus million people and somehow make Wall Street pay for it. Sen. Elizabeth Warren pledged to forgive everyone's student loans up to $50,000.

Today, thanks to their incredible incompetence, bad policies and serial stupidity, the Democrats in Washington are bringing back all those problems.
It’s getting so bad, I’m actually beginning to think Jimmy Carter was not such a bad president after all.
People under 40 have no idea how bad things were in the late 1970s under Carter.
They’ve grown up knowing only 3 percent interest rates, dirt cheap gasoline and 2 percent inflation.
They don’t know how miserable things were under Carter or how miserable they can get again under Biden.

It's tempting for Americans to get smug about the sinking of the Moskva, the Russian Navy's flagship in the Black Sea. Whether it was destroyed by Ukrainians or — less plausibly — sunk because of a non-combat onboard explosion of ammunition, the result is both a humiliation and a setback for Vladimir Putin's war efforts. If you're cheering Ukraine's defenders, it's hard not to take some satisfaction in that.
But America's fleet might also be more vulnerable than you think.

Disney’s legislature is holding a special session to deal with a few topics, namely the redistricting issue, and it looks like Governor DeSantis is gonna take full advantage of that to score an immediate and major victory over the woke Disney corporation, with Tim Swain tweeting out the news and saying:
🚨BREAKING: Governor DeSantis announces Florida’s special session will include ENDING Disney’s tax privilege & special exemption status.
This is a huge win! Disney is pro-groomer and want to sexually indoctrinate children. Republicans must understand that woke corporations are the ENEMY! Follow me to keep updated!
That news came from a press conference where DeSantis said, while announcing

White House press secretary Jen Psaki wept during the “News Not Noise” podcast that came out on Thursday as she lamented over the “harsh and cruel” parental rights bills in Florida and elsewhere that liberals have misnomered as anti-LGBTQ.
The “News Not Noise” podcast host Jessica Yellin asked Psaki about the legislation that has passed in numerous conservative-led states across the nation.
“How do you make sense of what’s happening?” Yellin disingenuously asked the press secretary. “Is this sort of a predictable backlash to change? Or is this an organized political attempt to create a wedge issue ahead of the midterms in the 2024 campaign? Sort of like the way gay

Deadly mini darts designed to shred human flesh were used during Russia's shelling of Bucha, locals have claimed after finding hundreds of the small projectiles in their gardens. 'Flechettes' - sharp, one-inch-long nail-like projectiles with fins on one end to make them more aerodynamic - were more commonly used in the First World War than modern warfare. They are not technically outlawed by international convention but some human rights groups have decried their use due to their indiscriminate and imprecise nature.'They should never be used in built-up civilian areas,' Amnesty International has said.

A bill co-sponsored by 18 House Republicans would remove the National Education Association’s (NEA) 116-year-old federal charter because of the union’s hyper-partisanship and support for extreme ideological policies such as critical race theory (CRT).
“The NEA can no longer be considered a public service worthy of its federal charter as it has drifted substantially from its core mission and become a massive political operation dedicated to electing Democrats and imposing a radical progressive agenda on America’s schools,” (snip)

Sri Lanka, an island nation of 22 million people, is in the grips of an economic meltdown. This slow-motion train wreck first began in November 2019 when Gotabaya Rajapaksa won a decisive victory in the country’s presidential elections. He immediately placed family members into key government positions and suspended Parliament. Then in August 2020, his Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party — the Sri Lanka People’s Front — posted a landslide victory. The win gave Rajapaksa the ability to amend the country’s constitution, which he quickly availed himself of. In total control, President Rajapaksa and his brother Mahinda, the prime minister, went on a spending spree

What is happening to the people of Shanghai is an atrocity. China’s zero-COVID policy has literally imprisoned millions in their own homes in that nation’s most populous city. Police beatings have been reported, as have cases of extreme hunger, and “constant mental anguish and anxiety.” Don’t think that could never happen in America. We, too, have tyrants in government. And every one of them should be compelled to sweat under the hot lights of a congressional investigative hearing.
Maybe then they would not be so eager to put Americans under house arrest again.

Uber and Lyft lifted their respective mask requirements for U.S. passengers and drivers on Tuesday, one day after a federal judge overturned the Biden administration’s mask mandate for air travel and public transportation.
“Riders and drivers are not required to wear masks when using Uber,” the rideshare app told users in a message on Tuesday. “However, the CDC still recommends wearing a mask if you have certain personal risk factors and/or high transmission levels in your area.”
“Remember: many people still feel safer wearing a mask because of personal or family health situations, so please be respectful of their preferences,”

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy once again put White House press secretary Jen Psaki on the hot seat Monday, asking her if she or the Biden administration would apologize to Border Patrol agents who were unjustly accused of whipping Haitian migrants near the US-Mexico border last year.“And one additional question about something that happened a few months ago down at the border… We’ve been told that the mounted Border Patrol officers the president accused of whipping migrants have been notified they will not face criminal charges. So, when is the president going to apologize to them?” Doocy asked at a White House press briefing.

Former President Donald Trump made the most courageous decision of his post-presidency so far by endorsing J.D. Vance for the GOP Senate Primary in Ohio. Vance is an authentic representative of America’s populist tradition, contending against a field of establishment phonies. For the discontent that propelled Trump to the White House in 2016 to be addressed, Vance must find his way into the halls of the Senate. And thanks to Don’s nod, he likely will. A disclosure: Vance and I are friends. (Snip)
The Vance I’ve gotten to know over the past few years has something few politicians possess: namely, depth of soul.

Joe Biden has been fully exposed as a dotard who'd be better off at the dog tracks than the Oval Office, but he's got nothing on Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who's reportedly so senile she can't recognize her own staff.
Now, after a bombshell report from the San Francisco Chronicle on Feinstein's dessicated state, Joe's White House is telling the press that he's got "confidence" in his former Senate colleague.
According to the New York Post:
President Biden has confidence in Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) despite a recent report that her Democratic colleagues believe she’s mentally unfit for office, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday.

Perhaps the most annoying characteristic of so many of the dreaded RINOs infecting the Republican Party is their self-righteousness.
We see it ooze out of Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) every time he comes within 50 yards of a television camera or microphone. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) can’t wait to accept invitations to appear on MSNBC or CNN to tell everyone how principled and strong she is. And Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) loves to preach to us about her affection for the decorum and traditions of the Senate, and we usually hear about it right around the time she’s getting ready to vote for a Democratic bill.

Remember this MSNBC segment on online harassment? MSNBC aired it less than two weeks ago. Washington Post tech reporter Taylor Lorenz claimed to have “severe PTSD” over online bullying and doxxing, which she claimed was aimed at her primarily because of her gender. Lorenz’ critics instead pointed to her long track record of targeting people for doxxing and generating cancel campaigns based on her biases and occasionally dishonest reporting:
“You feel like any little piece of information that gets out on you will be used by the worst people on the Internet to destroy your life,” Lorenz said while choking back tears, “and it’s so isolating.”

To this point, Joe Biden has danced around the idea of running for a second term. His handlers have indicated that he plans to while leaving the door open for other circumstances to arise. When the president himself has spoken on it, he’s been even vaguer, mentioning his health and suggesting that Donald Trump possibly running again would be a deciding factor. A firm commitment has been largely elusive.
According to The Hill, though, Biden has committed to staying in the game. The president made those comments to Barack Obama during the latter’s recent White House comeback tour. "President Biden has told former President Obama that he is planning to run

Disney execs worried that Tinker Bell and Captain Hook were “potentially problematic” during their review of content headed to the new Disney+ streaming service, the New York Times reports. The review is part of Disney’s “Stories Matter” initiative, a wide-ranging effort to bring more inclusion into the Disney-sphere. From the project’s website:
As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures.
Tinker Bell (yes, I thought it was one word too) raised concern because she is “body conscious”

The Hunter Biden coverup continues to unravel and, as it does, questions about the president's involvement become harder to dodge. Hunter's nefarious dealings with what at the time was China's largest energy company, CEFC, are well-documented, as are his questionable activities in Russia and Ukraine. The concept is known as influence peddling, a smarmy practice refined to an art form in "the swamp."
Hunter Biden's "take" from Russia while his father was vice president was reportedly at least $3.5 million, for which he did nothing but be Joe Biden's son. Now, Joe Biden is president of the United States

The U.S. government will no longer conduct anti-satellite missile tests, making it the first nation to enact such a ban, Vice President Harris announced Monday. The Biden administration is setting the self-imposed ban as part of a goal to make it an 'international norm for responsible behavior in space,' Harris said. The new declaration comes after Russia in November conducted an anti-satellite missile test to destroy its Cosmos-1408 satellite, a soviet-era spacecraft that's been in orbit since the 1980s. The explosion generated a cloud of at least 1,500 pieces of trackable debris that threatened the International Space Station.

If we’ve heard it once, we’ve heard it a million times: 80-year-old Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell is the indispensable man. McConnell’s indispensability, we’re told, stems from his skill shepherding Republican judicial nominees through the process and onto the federal bench. Alternatively, McConnell’s mastery of Senate rules keeps more than a few Democrats off the bench. This is practically lore among Republicans.
But McConnell’s prowess is overstated. As the saying goes, graveyards are full of indispensable men. Okay, give McConnell his due. He’s been an effective manager, advancing and opposing judicial nominations.

In today’s installment of Diversity Makes America Stronger, a gentleman attempted to smuggle several pounds of well-done bat steaks into the country by cramming them into his luggage. The traveler, who was returning from a trip to Ghana, made sure to pack plenty of sides along with his protein; 12 pounds of tetrapleura (a fruit primarily used as a spice), eggplants, and turkey berries (pea-sized yellow and green berries) were packed as well.

House Republicans are considering term limits for committee chairmen and ranking members, a move that could curb many influential Democrats’ power under a potential Republican House majority.
House Republicans already have term limits within the GOP Conference, but adopting the potential rule could significantly curb many potential Democrat ranking members.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), the House Financial Services Committee chair since 2013, could no longer serve as the top-ranking Democrat on the committee.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) would no longer be the top Democrat on the Homeland Security Committee; he has served as the top Democrat on the committee since 2005.
Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ),
