In May 2021, the Florida legislature passed a major overhaul of state election law. The law’s goals were to make elections more transparent and trustworthy while outlawing known abuses of the system, particularly those abuses that came into being based on the whim of unelected officials and judges to allegedly allow the system to cope with an election during a pandemic.
These are bullet points that describe what the Florida law does.
Under SB-90, voters can still request to vote-by-mail instead of voting in person. However, some changes are being made to the request process.
Voters can submit a vote-by-mail application. It outlawed the mass mailing of ballots.

This is a good start, but a lot more is needed. More specifications on audits. More on election personnel vetting. More on counting the votes. More on observing the vote counting. More on when results must be reported. No faux recounts where they redo the original count and get the same result, without modifications for known errors. Errors identified during the election should be made public by compulsion, and within days of the election. Voter machines should be checked and approved before each election by experts. Election machines should be tested before the election, and internet connections closed, before an election. If reconnected, both parties should have a flashdrive of any transmissions to vote counting centers. Any interference of an observer during an election should be made a felony and include immediate jail without bail. Custody records of ballots should be strictly enforced. Illegal ballots should not be allowed to be counted. Failure to follow election law should make the election invalid. State and local election officials who do not do their election duties should be forced to recuse themselves, and another responsible person elected to do it. Legislative redistricting rules should be reviewed and updated so Democrats don't decide the elections here. Judges should have more detailed power limitations, and be removed, if they put their hands on the scale. Standing for bringing lawsuits should be explicit with voters in any election automatically having standing to bring lawsuits against the other party or election officials or judicial persons for violations of their duties. This is not all. The modifications made so far are just window dressing. We need election form really.

FTA: "We had all better get ready for this kind of childish acting out on the part of Biden and Obama judges." It's going to be worse than childish acting out if the Democrat/Marxists get a firm majority on the SCOTUS again.

They were not appointed as "judges," they were always intended to be political operatives.

ultimately, the LEGISLATURE decides, the courts DO NOT decide. This judge can have all the fits that he or she desires, but it will not affect the laws as written.
I object to the online registration. A person should be absolutely required to make the effort to travel to the election office, in a limited, but reasonable time window, at least MONTHS before the election and present proof of who they are, where they reside and citizenship before being registered.
IMO, if a person doesn't vote for two elections, the registration should be cancelled. Re-registration can be done the same way as registration, IN PERSON, with proof of citizenship, identity and place you live.
This is a good start, but frankly making it easier to register should NOT be any sort of a priority. Reasonable, yes, ultra easy, no. If you don't care enough to plan ahead and make the trip, then you don't care enough to do a good job selecting a candidate to vote for either.

Obama judge says blacks aren't able to figure out how to vote.

Remember, for most states it requires you to reside there for 1 year before you can pay in-state tuition.
Remember, candidates are required to register to be on the ballot anywhere from 6-9 months prior to the election.
So, why would anyone let someone register to vote anywhere close to the actual election where it becomes nearly impossible to verify they are indeed a resident, or live at the address they are claiming on their voter registration application.
Before any mass mailing of ballots, the voter registration rolls should be up to date. After all, NY and CA, have seen massive migration out of their state, which means hundreds of thousands of registrations are out of date, or invalid.
They need to be able to resolve these types of issues FIRST.
Any drop box should only allow 1 ballot to be dropped off, and it would go through a scanner to count the ballot as received (not who they voted for yet). Make sure there is clear, and firm, chain of custody of all ballots (mail-in, drop box, and in-person).
Anyone notice it's always people aligned with the Democrat party who are against any voting laws? They seem to want it to be easy to cheat, and hard to challenge.

With any due respect, your honor....hunt up your copy of 'Judgin' For Dummies'. Find the part where you don't get to write the laws; only adjudicate them. Voting should be only in person, only paper ballots, with limited provision for absentee voting (also in person). Each voter will dip his finger in long-lasting purple ink, and adorn his ballot with a thumbprint. This will discourage criminals...a key Commiecrat voting block.

It stops the left from cheating so, naturally, it must be challenged in court!
